Korea Garden is one of the last few Korean BBQ restaurant that still have the grill at the table side for you to cook the meat. But like many other Korean BBQ restaurants, the price of the beef has been steadily on the high side. I was having dinner with a friend and we ordered a seafood pancake, 1 order of the bulgogi, grilled marinated beef, and a seafood tofu soup. Its also good that the waiter asked us if we wanted to cook the meat ourselves or have it cooked in the kitchen as we didnt want our clothes to smell like BBQ meat, we requested to be cooked in the kitchen. The seafood pancake here is a bit different from other places as the cut is pretty big pizza triangle shape. But one thing I like about it is that they served it with the frying pan that was most likely cooked on. The taste and texture, however, wasnt flavorful as there was barely any seafood in the pancake and its bunch of green onions in the middle. The pancake itself is a bit chewy and I tend to prefer a little crispy-ness to it. Then the rest of the food came out along with the side dishes and the complimentary one metal bowl of white rice. I like how the bulgogi meat was served on top of a nice layer of grilled onion on a sizzling skillet, kind of like you getting fajita meat at a Tex-Mex restaurant. All of the side dishes are standard and decently good. The seafood tofu soup was pretty good as well since we requested a soup thats not too spicy and the server suggested that soup, which is on the mark on the spicyness. We did have the server check on us every now to refill our water and see if we needed anything else. Theres nothing really stood out as its a typical Korean BBQ restaurant just like some other ones along the street of Long Point. But it definitely isnt a bad restaurant at all.

Cant remember when the last time I was here. Today was my big day well not really just a birthday. Craving for bulgogi and kimchi. Oh and my favorite Korean soup yougaejang. I must say the service here is phenomenal, last I remember going to Korean restaurants usually get a rude service but thats definitely in the past. Its a total flip, everyone were super nice, courteous and polite. We ordered a bulgogi platter which in my opinion it was a bit pricey for the portion size $21. Its worth maybe $16-18. If the portion was larger that price is more excusable. But any who the meat was off the chain, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Just as I imagined all day before getting here. I love Korean restaurant for all the little side dishes you get. Potato with sweet and spicy sauce, seaweed marinade with vinegar, bean sprouts, pickled cucumber (doesnt taste like pickle), kimchi and many more. Once you are done with the side they will come by to refill whichever you would like. Yougaejang was off the chain, the spicyness was just right a bit of a kick but super good. I do wish that there were more stuff in it but besides that I will for sure be back soon during my lunch hour.

At the front of this long-standing eatery in Koreatown on Longpoint the water wheel and wishing well draws the attention of small children. We were more concerned with the delicious aromas of meat juices hitting the table grills that greeted us. Classic Korean summer meal is the especially Korean thinly-sliced beef rib meat or galbi that you grill at your table over gas and a bowl of icy chilled beef broth with soba noodles to cool the sweat from Koreas (and Houstons summers). All of the marinated meats were incredibly tender even after grilling them. Being Americans we enjoyed eating the slightly burned fatty edges that the Korean waitress would carefully snip off with shears before serving to protect us from those polyaromatic hydrocarbons. All the meals come with eight pickled vegetable dishes or banchan like tofu, bean sprouts, cucumber, cooked potatoes, pea shoots, kimchi, etc. I look forward to sampling the hearty noodle soups with tofu, kimchi, and pork belly.

With the abundance of Korean restaurants in the area, this is just about average. The decor is very well done and is Korean styled. I just wished that they did more for their food than for their atmosphere. I came here with my family and were interested in grilling our own meat. The overall quality of the meat tasted fine; there were no odors, blemishes, nor fungal growth. My only concern was that all of the meat came frozen, so Im not quite sure just how fresh they really were. Actually from all of the Korean establishments Ive visited in America, this may very will be the first one I recall being served frozen meat... Thats not to say their service nor their food bad, just... and oddity.

This restaurant was great. I went there with a friend from out of town on a Saturday night. It smelled great before we even walked in. We were promptly seated at a large booth. The atmosphere was very soothing and the booths were very private feeling. There was a good number of people there. The staff was VERY attentive (but not annoying) and the food was awesome. We had the spicy pork and the seafood dish which came with shrimp, squid, and scallops (YUM!). There was a good variety of sides and the food was fun to cook right at our table, I will definately be returning with my husband and whoever else I can convince to come with me!

Ive been here twice now with family and each time the service was outstanding! I am not Korean nor is anyone else I went with and there was never a problem. The meats are nicely cut and marinated and all the sides are wonderful. There was always a server at the table to bring more rice, lettuce wraps, sides and drinks. My son begs to go here to cook the meat! The tempura squid is a must have so tender. Ive eaten at a lot of Korean BBQ places in Phoenix and this is as good as anything Ive ever tasted. Plus the inside of the restaurant is just lovely, very private booths and large tables with two cook tops.

One of my favorite Korean joints in Houston. The Bulgogi, Bibimbap and ribs are fine. What really makes this place stand out is its extensive selection of vegetarian dished - the vegetable Juk (rice porridge or congee), spicy veggie stew, veggie pancake and more are excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful, but it helps to study up on Korean dishes if it is your first Korean culinary experience. The place is neat, uniquely decorated and has a very warm homey atmosphere. Yes, it is on the expensive side, but the ingredients are fresher than most other Korean places I frequent so it is worth it to me.

The food was OK. The marinated BBQ meat was tasty, and the seafood tofu soup was authentic, but theyre petty and stingy. We, 7 people, ordered $120 worth of food for just lunch, and only got 2 sets of small dishes, and was warned beforehand that we wont get refills on them because we only made 5 orders. Gosh, what a turn off! We never got those kind of warning from any other Korean restaurant. They all need to take course on customer services 101. I dont think theyre worth coming back to given their competitions are treating their customers better.
