Just tried for the first time. Wow!! Came here because it was the only place within reasonable driving distance thay was open on New Years Day..and Im glad they were! Family-owned, and the mother and daughter were super friendly! Helped me pick out certain items based on what I like and my girlfriend being a vegeterian. Unique menu items!! Got the jalapeno sausage kolache, sausage and gravy kolache, and a scalloped potato kolache. All of them were absolutely delicious! Hands down my new go to breakfast spot! I already love this place! I want to try everything on the menu!! Thanks guys!!!

Ive never wrote a review or rated any business but felt the need to for the Kolache Bar which has the best glazed donuts and everything else on the menu is delicious and always fresh. They provide great customer service, nate and his wife are amazing they take care of me and my daughters every single time. Great prices great variety and quality, im currently hooked on the polish kolaches which is better than kolache factory and shipleys in every way. Would and do recommend this place to anyone in the west oak mall area. You wont regret it

I stopped here one day as I was rushing to an appointment and Im so happy I did. Customer service is great and the food is great as well! Ive been coming here for a while now and every now and then they throw something in on the house. My very first time there I believe the owner took my order with her daughter and I got a free donut, I got some on the house today as well. Really every single time I come not only is my hunger satisfied but I leave with a smile on my face. Thank you for making our day just a tad bit easier and enjoyable!

This place is awesome!! Ive been here twice. The first time on the way home from work, I was reallllly craving a do-nut and the nice owner gave me two for the price of one I found out later! They are super affordable and so friendly. The second time was this morning when my family and I stopped in for a late Kolache breakfast. Being new to Texas, I wanted to share my new found love for Kolaches with my parents. They were great, and warm, very fresh. I live so close and the experience was fantastic, I will be back soon. =>

This shop has recently been opened by an enterprising young couple. They are friendly and cheerful and their fresh croissant egg + sandwichs are an excellent start to the day... especially accompanied by some heary Community coffee that they keep freshly brewed. Personally I also recommend their apple fritters upon a chill November morning. This is the first review I have ever written for a donut shop! (or any eatery) JB Holland 11/11/08

All it took was ONE kolache and I was instantly hooked!! The baker Nate, is really passionate about his craft, and it shows in his product. The best Kolache bread Ive ever had hands down. I recommend the boudin kolache, and the jalapeno poppers!! Also the blueberry donuts and iced coffee are great! With an awesome menu, and friendly staff, this is a must try for kolache and doughnut lovers! Customer for life, Jermaine

I love this place! It has an incredibly friendly atmosphere with excellent service, and the food is to die for. Best kolaches Ive ever had in Houston, hands down. The jalapeno poppers are a must, along with the boudin, polish hot, sausage and gravy, and BBQ, just to name a few. I havent had an item on the menu that wasnt delicious. Definitely stop by and check this place out!

Just tried this place for the first time. Very friendly staff and people, also the food is delicious. I had the Boudin Kolache, Sausage and gravy kolache, and some regular glazed donuts. As we were paying one of the staff who I believe is the owner and came out she gave us 3 free donuts to try. We had a great experience and will definitely come back!

I was very impressed with the service at Kolache Bar --This place has a very warm and welcoming entrance. The owners are very friendly and always have a smile on their face. The kolaches themselves are delicious and 10 times better than any other place I have been to. The donuts with a variety of options to choose from.

Seriously awesome food! A coworker brought in an assortment of donuts and kolaches today and the office truly couldnt get enough. I am quite the "foodie" and I have to say, these are the best kolaches I have ever had. Move over Shipleys and Kolache Factory, Mr Donut is where its at! Cant wait to make the visit myself.

Tried this place a few weeks ago for the first time and now its our regular breakfast spot at least two/three days a week. Im all about kolaches and the bread they use hooked me in! They also have killer doughnuts for your sweet tooth too. Im sure to add a blueberry Duffin-(doughnut/muffin) to my order everytime.

The boudin kolaches are awesome. So are the chicken enchiladas. Everything is so good and made fresh. Nate, the owner, and his wife are very sweet and professional. They treat customers like they have known you. Highly recommend this place for breakfast and if you have an early lunch.

if you are looking for good food, friendly service and a good laugh, this is the place. they have several variety of donuts and kolaches along with croissants and biscuits. I recommend the blueberry donut, very good! and their kolaches, hot and yummy! BTW-they also place great music.

Its called Kolache Bar now and the menu has expanded some. They added Polish sausage which I love. And the classics (blueberry donuts & apple fritters) are still great! Oh and the drive-thru makes it quick morning stop.
