The only thing that is worth buying at this store is the cobblers and after my recent experience that isnt worth it.any idiot knows that if it is 38 degrees outside people are going to wear hoods.i refused to remove mine because I was cold and was denied service and threatened to have the police called on me.on another occasion I bought a bag of frozen French fries that was so old it was freezer burned and smelled like some died.the prices are way too high for old and outdated food.this place should be closed for stupidity alone.do yourself a favor and drive past this place.they do not deserve our money

I spent $130 something dollars, for some food that was spoiled or freezer burnt! I just threw up on some meat that actually looked good! People wakeup if the meat is bad, then the food they cooking is coming from that meat market! Im calling the health department and report this!

On fridays this restaurant sells an asian fish to its customers and tells them that it is catfish! Also,they dont know how to prepare crawfish ettoufee,they put tomatoes in it,i think they need to pick up a new orleans cookbook!! beware!!

This is an awesome place to get fantastic home cooked soul food! The service is excellent and the portions are incredibly generous! And the prices are great! Its also a market and they sell clothing as well!

I go every week, mostly stick with the smothered pork chops and always a medium peach cobbler but I have tried the beef tips and they are just as good and the price, tyou cant beat anywhere in town.
