As someone who lives North of i10, Im no a huge fan of the name of this place. Being proud of a neighborhood is one thing, but something about celebrating one of the wealthiest zips in Texas just seems crass. With that said, the saddest part of 024 might be that this place feels completely disconnected from Houstons exciting restaurant scene, and the fun and innovative ingredients and ideas that are powering it. The menu could stand in any nice hotel restaurant in the country and while all of our dishes were well prepared, and the service was attentive, there really wasnt anything about 024 that makes one want to rush right back.

Never busy. Never well staffed. Full bar with a few beer and wine options. One local craft beer, one macro and one foreign macro. Simple, predictable apps. The table nuts are awesome. Seating is modern and relatively comfortable. Air conditioning is always waaaaay too high. Holy nipples! Good for post work quiet happy hour, but little more.

The lounge is where we were after going out to dinner. Server was quick to welcome us in and tell us were welcome to seat ourselves anywhere. Mixed drinks were all solidly made and we had a great time. Place is simple and modern and stylish with a nice back-lit waterfall feature.

Best lunch Ive had in a long time. I got the steak sandwich, and it was amazing. The fries were perfectly cooked as well.
