Baker Street is a place my friends and I like to call “home”. Now a regular for over 5 years now, I’ve always known Baker’s Street to have the best bartenders, managers and staff who all truly care about their customers - which keep people like me coming back! My favorite time to visit is around 9:30 on a Friday or Saturday night - just before the live band begins to pump out 80’s hits. This way I can grab a draft beer, create my own concoction, or on extra-thirsty occasions a massive Corona Rita (frozen margarita with corona bottle) follow by a shot or two. Then I snag a table by the band or where ever is left with friends and prepare to party and dance the night away. For a bar, the food is great is you have the munchies or want to swing by for lunch. I’m a big fan of the burgers, fries, wings, fish and chips, chicken tenders, fish tacos, and even hummus plater - just to name a few! So if you are hungry have no fear - just order to share and enjoy. There are only two downfalls in my book about Baker Street in The Woodlands. Since smoking is allowed, at peak hours it can get rather smokey - leaving you smelling like a ash tray and with a scratchy morning throat. Customers are usually friendly, but this bar does attract a few feisty frat boys or concert goers now and then - so be careful and stay with a group if you arrive late at night. With only a few cons, Baker Street in The Woodlands is a great place to have fun with friends in a pub-like atmosphere.

I dont normally write reviews but after coming here for a few months and getting to know a few of the waitresses quite well, this place gets one star for one reason: the manager Gary. I have never in my life seen a manager willing to openly curse out and scream at his employees in front of customers the way he does. The entire atmosphere of the place is bogged down when hes there. This guy has to be in his 50s and he talks to these 20 something girls like theyre dogs. Hes made one of them cry on two occasions. When I go out tI have a good time, I expect just that. I dont expect to be hearing an old man verbally abuse young women and unfortunately thats what you get when you go here. You might get lucky and one of the other managers will be there. Props to them for keeping these girls spirits up and the atmosphere fun.

I have been there with my girlfriends many times and its usually so crowded you cant get a drink or sit down. Just lately, one of us, have been robbed of something we have with us and we will not be going back. You should be able to go out in The Woodlands and not be fearful that the minute you put your purse or jacket down, that it will be claimed by a theif. Go down the street to another bar where its not so ridiculous. When we talked with the management on helping us locate the items and call the police they were not at all helpful and says it happens on the time. Overall, 4 of us have had something stolen. Horrible.

This is the second time weve stayed at the Hotel around the corner and weve had 5 meals from the Pub and each has been awesome!! The food is great even after we walk back to the hotel. Great service and the help there are very courteous and nice. Will continue to eat there when ever we visit Houston/Woodlands. The Reuben is one of the best Ive had anywhere. The Philly Cheesesteak has the most tender meat and they dont stuff it full of green and red peppers and skimp on the meat, nope they do it reverse. Tons of meat and just enough peppers to give some color and taste. Keep up the great work Baker St Pub!!!

Ive never had worse service anywhere in The Woodlands. Our waitress, Rose, couldnt be bothered to come to our table so we had to go find her to order. 45 minutes later we finally flag her over to order another drink. I mentioned that it had been about 30 minutes since wed seen her to which she declared she didnt have to serve us... Then after we talked to the manager she tried to tell him we were rude to her! Horrible service! They have one amazing waitress, Abby. Any other night you might as well just pick literally any other bar if youd actually like to order anything.

Nice environment. Good people. Good food. But... telling people coming in at 11 am that they cant have food until 30 minutes later because the grill needs to warm up, is not good planning! When you open at 11 am and your grill needs to warm up for 30 minutes, you start the grill at 10:30 am. It doesnt take rocket science to figure that out. Also: if you know that a group event with 200 confirmed visitors is coming in at noon, you need to make sure you are staffed to handle that size crowd. Again not rocket science.

This place is managed like a prison. The food is horrible and the staff, especially guards at the door,, were unfriendly and arrogant. Fact is, i would never bless them with my presence again. I manage thousdands of people that i bring to marriot hotel for my company. I Will never recommend this bar again. The front door staff should take a look at who they are NOT letting in the door...it could be someone that owns this bar....Fire the front door staff on friday 3 /25/16. .

They really have a problem with tipping. My boyfriend and I had two tabs but he took care of the entire tips. The waitress had the audacity to come up to our faces while we were dancing and asked if we had a problem with her. Not in a nice way or anything, just really rude. After we explained that he tipped her for both of us, she said "Oh" and simply walked away. This place is run by such rude people. I will not be going back after this horrible experience.

I felt very unwelcomed there. This was our first visit so we walked in and no one greeted us for almost a minute, so we werent sure if we seated ourselves or what. After we ordered our dinner, we were asked for a credit card because "they have lots of Walk-Outs" she said. I felt racially profiled, however, i obliged her. When my small portions of average-tasting food arrived, my wife and i just rushed through our meal, so we could leave immediately.

My friends and I stopped here after a movie last week. The drink selection was many including mixed drinks and local draft beers. We did not have any food but the drinks alone would bring me nack. There was a good live band playing with different song choices and they had the TV on for the social drinker. It was packed. I cant wait to bring my husband here. Cool decor also and a bathroom attendant to help with those soap issues.

TERRIBLE! i went there on a sunday and okay,,,so i got a little sick and i threw up (probably from their food). the manager demanded that we leave. we go there all the time. not any more! incidents happen all the time like fighting and drama, yet, im asked to leave from puking, seriously if you love drama go here. if not, there are plenty of other bars that you can go to at the water way where they are awesome.
