Me and my family went for dinner at this place halfway in to our dinner i found a roach at my plate im very upset because all of us ate General chow chicken we were all in shock to see that gross bug my daughter started to vomit at our dinning table it was a horrible moment i approached the manager and she only said i will not pay my plate come on!!! We all ate the same food we walked out if there and she started to demand we pay her i took a picture of the roach and told her i will be contacting. The texas health department she then started to tell us ok ok you go... if i get sick i will seak legal representation i have thrown up two times and cant get the roach out of my mind freaking gross!! Please do not go there ..... ayer fui a comer a este restaurant y me salio una cucaracha en mi platillo que pinche asco me acompanaba mi familia y todos habiamos servido el mismo platillo mi hija se vomito en la mesa fue un momento muy fuerte todos teniamos asco me levante y hable con la encargada la cual muy grosera me aullento tratando de convenserme de que no pagaria mi platillo.. pero si todos comimos de lo mismo!!! Me moleste y le dije que llamare al departamento de salud de texas ella se enojo y nos corrio que poca madre de esta pinche gente puerca.. por favor no coman alli si me enfermo los demandare por marranos...

Avoid this place! We went during our summer vacation. We took our entire family of 5. Everything was OK until I started eating a lot of crab legs and oysters. They told me they would bring out more crab, and when they did, it was extremely salty, as if they saved them in salt water with salt on top. They ran out of oysters. When I asked them to bring more, they told me they could not since they were frozen. I asked them to thaw some, they declined. The worst part was when we were leaving, the waiter aggressively grabbed our copy of the receipt from my wife (she is only 5’ tall). When I learned of this, I tried to go back in to talk with the manager. The door was locked so I knocked on it. After a few minutes, the manager came out to the foyer. All she would say is “sorry”. When we told her we were going to write a negative review, she closed the door in my face. After thinking things over for 30 minutes, we decided to call the Galveston Police. It turns out that we could have filed assault charges against the waiter for grabbing the receipt from my wife. We decided to let it go, but to never return.

I’ve been to some pretty impressive and quality buffets and I’ve also been to some where the food was barely edible. Sadly (or fortunately) this is neither of those. The restaurant itself is fairly large and can probably accommodate large groups, though on this visit - a Saturday night at 7 pm - the place was almost empty. There was a fairly wide variety of food but the appearance was often not very welcoming. The egg rolls were pretty good. Some of the chicken dishes were okay too but the chicken was quite fatty. The chicken wings had some “stubble” which kind of grossed me out. You know, while I was there I was thinking that it wasn’t terrible (though it definitely wasn’t great!) but now that I’m writing this and reading it back I have to admit that it kinda was gross. So while it’s true that I have had worse, this is so far from the best buffets (see Mandarin in the Toronto area) that I really can’t recommend it.

The food was not that bad. but the waiters and manager have very bad attitude. VERY RUDE waiters. we ordered 6 buffets 5 Sodas because my wife drinks water. the waiter was over our head all the time to see if we are sharing the Soda with my wife ! thats what she said !!! I asked for the manager for explanation. Apparently the only thing they tought them is to laugh and say sorry. I know some Chinese. they were laughing and insulting us with the manager in Chinese. I told her that you will loose customers with this attitude. apparently they dont care. IF THE REAL MANAGER IS READING THE COMMENTS, CHANGE/TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES and you will have a successful business there. I know with this strategy you will go out of business soon.

Tried this place a couple times.. Wont be going back. I thought maybe it was just a bad first impression but not the case. The chicken and soups are tasteless, and the sushi is the size of a quarter. TAKE NOTE: I found a giant hair wrapped around one of the sushi rolls.. Do they think that add flavors or something? The environment is never pleasant, always the worst of the island seems to gather here, and if you like crawfish rest assured there is always that one jerk that piles their plate with nothing but and leaves none for anyone else. This places gets 1-star because they serve food, thats about it.

Ive eaten at many Chinese buffets around the U.S. This restaurant is definitely the worst Chinese restaurant that I have ever eaten at. Everything I tried was horrible. No flavor. No spice. The wonton sauce was so salty that I could not eat it. Only 3 chicken dishes and 1 beef. White rice only. The bathroom was filthy and most fixtures were broken. I can only image what the kitchen must look like. This place caters to the one time visitor like vacationers and day workers. If you want a decent Chinese buffer, go to the main land.

The food that they sale is the worst chines food in the world. Soda/Water taste really really old like its been sitting in the dishwasher sink for a year and they finally decided to server the drink to me.... Then dont even get me started on the food.... The sweet sour chicken is way way way over breaded and you only get a little strip the size of your thumb nail. The chines rice is always hard,dry, no flavor disappointing. This place just needs new owners or cooks. the really care about how the food comes out.

I saw all the bad reviews and was thinking of not going, but being so close to my house, I had to try it. They had a large selection of food, and I am very picky about General Tsos chicken, it was great. I ended up getting 4 plates of food it was so good, very fresh, hot and the people there were wonderful. I am not sure if its under new ownership, but it was nothing like the past comments. This is a must try for the price and the value, plus the selction of foods. Give it a try.

WEAK Chinese dinner buffet. The food isnt any more or less healthy then any other Chinese buffet it just taste bad compared to most other Chinese buffets I have been to. I just moved to Galveston from Houston and there are many GOOD Chinese buffets around Houston....not sure why they cant do better here. I wont be back anytime soon. Just my opinion but I have eaten at Chinese Buffets for 25 years. I think I know a bad one when I eat at one.

Oh my dear Lord how I pray for you if someone ever forces you to eat here. Just absolutely disgusting all around. Egg rolls were vomit inducing and they even found a way to make cheese wontons disgusting. Tried to save the meal with hibachi and big suprise, no yum yum sauce. Worst Chinese food Ive ever eaten. Its pretty impressive that a place is so wreched you get ill just from the sight of the sign.
