This place is steadily going downhill! While neighboring restaurants have at least one in house table to serve. They consistently get my order wrong and when its brought to their attention the older lady jumps in and offers a rebuttal to how the dish was made to order. At each visit I at least order a shrimp fried rice spicy with extra shrimp(well done). My preference takes my total to minimum 16 dollars just for rice. That was fine when I first began to frequent the restaurant as the quailty USED to be great. At present its sub par at best. Three consecutive times Ive ordered and my order was wrong. This last time I should have simply asked for a refund. The rice was requested as spicy...when I got it home there was no spice to be found not even a flake of black pepper. I requested the shrimp to be cooked well done...well they were still pinkish....even after the guy in the back yelled at the guy who prepared it and gave him the box back to dump the rice back on the grill. What I got after that was oily bland rice with pink shrimp. Hey that could be the new name for it on the menu..lol Its my fault for continuing to frequent this establishment...but I only did because I thought one day the quality I once knew this food to have would somehow return. At this point I wont hold my breath but I will hold my dollars from being spent here. No wonder the place stays empty these days over half the time. No service no quality. Money ill spent for sure. When you know better you do better...and I know at least one other restaurant in the area thats topping what grand cafe used to be...its just a farther drive...but at this point thats ok. If I had never experienced better food I might think grand cafe was something...these days its not. I have no idea how an order can be prepared doubly wrong and the establishment was dead as a door knob...the grills in the back even smelled like they took the day off. Sad but true.

If you live over 5 miles away, dont even bother calling. Even though their website CLEARLY states they charge a fee if the delivery location is over 5 miles. The "assistant manager" who was going to take my order told me her boss just told her it was too far. 8.2 miles and 15 mins away.... I wasnt trying to get the fee waived and I didnt mind the wait time. But what I did mind is a business advertises that it CAN deliver over 5 miles and when you call, they tell you no. The "assistant manager" also told me I can get my Chinese food from someone else when I asked to speak to her boss about his website. Of course that ticked me off so I told her it was "f***ing ridiculous" and that she just needed to let me talk to her boss. She then proceeded to tell me he wasnt there. Liar, you just said he said it was too far. Then she said he couldnt speak English. Again, liar, because I heard him talking to you. I love chinese food and they just lost my business whether its walk in or delivery.... oh wait.... they wont deliver.... Think twice before trying to order from this place.

This restaurant is where the Chino Express used to be on Atascocita Road. It is fairly new as it still has its grand opening sign up. Since its been open I have been there 3 or 4 times. I have to say they have the best chinese rice i have tasted in a long time. It is very authentic unlike those restaurant who put peas or carrots in their rice ( the watered-down American version). The service is very friendly. And the guy who takes your order even takes time to make sure you understand what comes in each dish. They dont have a buffet which i never order from anyway. And I thought the prices were expensive until i saw the amount of food you get. I ate off of a $7.95 shrimp fried rice for 2 days as lunch and dinner. Ive tried other chinese restaurants when they were in town and was very disappointed in the food. It is very hard to find a good chinese restaurant in Atascocita and most of them dont stay around long. With food and service this good I hope they stay around for a very long time.

We have been ordering our take-out from here for the past year or so and each and everytime it is perfect. We LOVE the lettuce wraps, Crab puffs (sweet with plenty of filling), the house fried rice is tops, loved the Singapore Rice Noodles, Beef with snow peas is an "everytime" order. The meat used in each dish is lean, cooked well and plentiful. Some places give tons of veggies and practically no meat - not here! Service is quick and our order has never been wrong. (That goes a long way with me.) Please give this place a try next time you want take-out for sure. I have eaten in a couple of times for lunch, but never for dinner. They do not call it "Grand" Garden for no reason!

Imagine our excitement when we found a new Chinese restaurant that will deliver! What a disappointment. After ordering over $60.00 worth of food, the delivery guy, despite detailed directions to an easily found place, got lost and we had to meet him at a gas station. I was not impressed with the portion sizes. They were small. The taste was even worse. The won ton and egg drop soup both smelled like dirty dishwater and tasted the same. The rice was dry and unpalatable. The lo mein was decent, but not anything spectacular. On the whole the food was dry, tasteless, and unsatisfying. We wont be ordering again.

We really like this place, its our new go to for Chinese Delivery. The food always tastes good, we get the kids pineapple chicken and I always get General Tsos chicken. I would recommend both. The food is always hot and that is very important to me. The crab puffs are delicious and fried perfect. The portions are nice sized and the prices are reasonable. This place is consistently great. I have ordered from them several times and I am always pleased. I would recommend this to everyone. For a Chinese delivery place I give it 5 stars.

I have ordered from this place a few times and have always been very pleased with the food. As a vegetarian, it is hard to find restaurants that have good tofu but this place is excellent!! I live in Fall Creek and have never had a problem with the food being delivered on time and correctly. It is reasonably priced and you get a lot of food (lunch portions are smaller as they should be)!! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone!!!!

Well called them for delivery AFTER reading on their menu "delivery over 5 miles subject to delivery charge". We call them to give them our order and they state they wont deliver to us. We Google mapped it out to 7.4 miles. If you dont want to deliver over 5 miles, then change the delivery policy to state " delivery within 5 mile radius only".

This thief (owner lady) had the audacity to pay herself a 15% tip AFTER I had signed the credit card slip and I had left the place. I found out weeks later when I was reconciling my bank statements that she had added $7.50 to my ticket without my knowledge and I still have the receipt to dispute the charges with my bank!
