I frequent Slim Chickens since it has opened in Frisco as it is in an extremely convenient spot and just so happens to feature one of my favorite foods: chicken. Along with their chicken I like to order fried mushrooms in place of fries. When the establishment first opened it was perfect. You got a good amount of mushrooms and you felt like the extra $2 was well worth it. Now, however, I have just picked up my order and I found out once I was home that I spent an extra $2 on 10 (I counted) very small mushrooms. Needless to say I was extremely upset. This is not the first occurrence, more of a last straw, as I have noticed the amount has gotten smaller and smaller. Unfortunately I just dont find this place worth the money any longer. Be warned, if you opt for the fried mushrooms you will most likely be skimped on the quantity.

Jermain runs an excellent store in Frisco on the Dallas Pkwy. Great food great service. A happy experience! 05/31/2017: Just enjoyed another visit (many since we have moved to Frisco end of January) and got to see Jermain again. What a joy to visit with a positive manager with a happy disposition and great smile. Food excellent. The toast is the only drawback and should either be loaded with garlic butter or removed from the menu. Looking around most people toss it (including us). Be nice if I could leave more than one review which would automatically date but it appears editing is my only choice at this point. Dont loose Jermain - he is such a bonus for your company!

We had a group of 4 dining on a late Sunday afternoon. Since it was early for dinner the place was not very busy. I have to start out by saying that the employees were great. Everyone was friendly and they checked on us while dining and even when we were leaving. The food however was a very different situation. Here is my summary. Fried Pickles were cold. French Fries were cold ans tasted old. Chicken sandwich was so cold it had to be returned. The chicken fingers were hot but were very bland and several were tiny. The friendliness of the staff might get me back here one more time but if the food is not better then it will most likely be my last visit.

2 adults and 2 kids with a meal each was $50!!!!! Wife got chicken and waffles and it was pretty good... I got the 5 piece chicken strips with 5 wings and it was ok... The wings were dry and tough and the chicken strips were only ok (its no canes)... The fried pickles were as salty as could be but the okra was pretty awesome. All in all I enjoy trying new places and I know where to go for a quick good chicken and waffles but this place was a bit pricey and I dont crave chicken and waffles very often.

I got the five chickens strips it comes with a medium drink, a bread toast, fries and 2 dipping sauces,total $9.52. First the bread toast is a regular one,same as you buy in any supermarket , Fries are ok. dipping sauce is fine . Now the chicken strips got no flavor, is not well breaded and no well cooked. I preffer go to Popeyes or Canes. Sell Chicken is about create an unique flavor that people remember to comeback for more.

Slim Chickens has good chicken and a variety of sauces, but when we where there the chicken was a little greasy. The desserts are very good, but it would be nice to have the option to buy the dessert with out the glass jar. It may have been a result of the way that the tables were laid out, but the building did feel crowded. I will have to try Slim Chickens again and see if this was just an off day for them.

I was really hopeful about Slim Chickens but sadly, Im unable to offer a rave review. I will say that the location is convenient and the dining area was very clean but unfortunately, my order was under cooked. I chose the 6 piece wing plate (to-go) and a couple of them were still pink inside. The chicken strips probably would have been a better choice. Needless to say, I threw everything away.

Highly reccoment the ceyanne ranch chicken sandwich, smokey cheddar wrap, fried pickles, peach tea and slim sauce! The fries are GREAT! Hot and seasoned with.. idk, delicious-ness.. Waaaaayyyy better than Canes. This place is great. Oh and the mason jar deserts are delicious. Save room!

Wrap was full of lettuce and 1 chicken strip, drinks were filled with ice and hardly any drink, fried pickles were fried with batter on one side, fries were cold....really not excited about this place oh and recieved a Canadian coin as change. I will be sticking to Canes and Chic fil a.

I came from Louisiana, for the weekend, and ate here, it was AMAZING , the food was DELICIOUS, The Employees were AWESOME....Great family atmosphere.. I will definitely be back on my next trip .....FYI...The Mason Jar Desserts are OUT OF THIS WORLD, Oreo Cheesecake is my favorite...

We were there about a month ago. Neat place. Great for the kids, quick service, custard at the end for everybody, wait is short. Kids found the chicken tenders a bit salty, which is why Ive put 4 stars, but otherwise, they are exactly as advertised. Thanks for the good meal.

Cayenne Ranch Chicken Sandwich is better than any QSR chicken sandwich, but the speed of service at this location is lacking. I know its easy to use the "cooked to order" default answer but half the time my fries are cold. Still tastes great though. Worth a try for anyone.

If you like Raining Canes, you really owe it to yourself to try Slim. IMO they are better and they offer chicken and waffles....enough said!
