This is a strange little place. Its been here for at least 15 years, and Im pretty sure its been called Chicken-N-Rice the entire time. not sure if its been the same owners the entire time or not. I used to pick up a meal to-go back when I worked at Eckerd Drugs in High School - so, its been around a while. This is the type of place where it tastes pretty good, for a quick and not-so-healthy meal...but you probably dont want to think too much about the actual quality of meat or the cleanliness of the restaurant.

I not a happy customer for one u go in give them ur order and it on the special menu and charge u the full price so if I didnt catch it they wasnt going to do nothing but when I told the cashier she called Tex the owner so I thought I was going to get customer service, we hell no she told me he said to void my card and rerun it and wait 5 to 7 days for my refund to show and rerun it the rt way. Now is that good customer service HELL NO

I went there one day they over charge me and the manager correct the mistake the next day I was very happy so I went several weeks later and got some chicken wings they was uncooked blood inside got me so sick will that enough for me at that location. Good luck to whom go there check ur food

Ive been eating here since 2001, this is my favorite place in Dallas for a quick good meal! I now live in San Antonio and wish theyre was one here all the time but when Im in Dallas I make sure to stop at one of their locations!

Good prices! Good crunchy toasty chicken!! First Chicken And Rice place that I enjoy , most places like this dont have good fried chicken. I thought this place would be the same and nope! Its delicious and fast service

Ive been going here for years with my 2 friends. Absolutely amazing. The actual building needs renovation really bad, but the food is the BEST. I would recommend this place to everyone!

This is $reasonable.. low cost and hot fresh fried chicken tenders and wings. Great tasting fries, rice. Eat in or take home. Different days have different bargain price special.
