Small place with very inconsistent service and quality. One time good experience next bad then good then bad and so on. They seem to treat first time customers and whites better than people of who re-visit or of indian origin. Unfortunately, this seems common in several indian restaurants I have visited where they will serve a white guy first then any non-indian looking guy before they serve an indian guy even if the indian has been sitting there longer than the others. They will keep the plates, water cups, napkins and cutleries, papad basket for the white guy sitting alone or with family and miss out on all or most for the indian guy with or without family. But they are slow in service for food for all customers. It is better to go for buffet than order food to eat there or take out because take out tastes like reheated stuff. Buffet tastes better. Take out takes very long time because they give you unrealistic time for pick up. It is not ready in 15 min and it cannot be because indian food takes long than that to be ready so say it will take 35-40min. If people dont mind waiting for pizza delivery for that long I am sure they wont mind for delicious indian food as well. Dont make people stand there waiting for pick up for a long time. Buffet typically has 5 veg and 5 non veg items. It looks like they dont have many people in service staff. They have too many people behind the counter and too few on the floor. There is usually just one guy doing all the job. I wonder if they have just one cook as well. I dont believe for a second these people dont speak or understand english. These guys are from southern india where people speak english just as well as they speak their own language and most people are educated. I have stopped going here. I was told by several people recently their food quality has deteriorated and their restrooms are terrible. Biryani Point on Ohio Dr in Plano has better customer service so I prefer that for quick food. This is a go to place for indian food if you dont have any other indian place to go nearby or are desperate for indian food and ok with whatever service you get or if you dont know much about indian food even if you think you know a lot. This place has great potential to improve with faster service, consistent higher quality food, great service no matter who their customer is, and cleaner place inside out. I hope to visit again one day to give 5 stars when I hear this place has turned around and is very good overall.

Went in to get something to go and didnt know much about the menu or indian food in general, but know I like spicy curry dishes. I started to say that and he had no interest in explaining anything to me. Handed me a menu and said "there are descriptions". Despite the total lack of interest in helping me, and the apparent inconvenience I was causing, I ordered something anyway (Andhra Goat Curry). It was terrible. There was literally no meat in it. There were chunks of bone, gristle and fat. Unless this dish is supposed to only be flavored with goat bones and fat, there was something terribly wrong. Do not recommend this place at all, and especially if you are not familiar with the food, as there is no desire to explain anything or help you.

Worst experience ever. Not at all authentic Indian food. Cold blend food. Not even near to what we eat in India. Biryani was worst in taste and this is a Biryani place. Service was horrible did not even had courtesy to ask if the food was okay, not providing enough plates and silverware, not having serving spoons for the food. After telling about their noodle is very blend and tasteless, we were told that we will not be changed. When we saw the bill they didnot take it out. Very worst experience will never come back to give second chance. I would also suggest others not to waste their money and time trying out this restaurant, there are way better than this. I wish there is 0 star option available.

Dropped by for a late lunch. It practically empty. However, it took 45 minutes to get the rava Dosa I ordered. Apparently, the "chef" was away from the restaurant. If thats the case be upfront to the customer about the wait time. I have been to another bawarchi point before and liked the indo-chinese dishes. However, after trying the rava Dosa at this location I will not be coming back. Please do not consider getting their rava Dosa it was not good and dry, overcooked plus the chutneys wasnt great either. Waste of my 8 bucks! The only reason I am giving 2 stars bc the upfront manager was nice enough to bring me some water and kept telling me "5" more minutes wait time.

I ordered their Chicken Biriyani. It was good (not the great). Service was ok. I wanted Diet Pepsi, but their machine ran out I guess. So he gave me a Diet Coke can, which is fine. But when I asked for another, he gave me Coke (bec they ran out of Diet Coke cans I guess). And the waiter mentioned 5% savings with cash and also preference of a cash tip. I prefer spicier Biriyani. Id recommend Hyderbadi Place at Hwy 121 and Preston. They have a wonderful buffet (awesome curries) and the decor is significantly better than Bawarchi Biriyani Point.

Ordered the chicken tikka masala... like it, so did my family. The na an though. Hmmm Ive had better naan. The center of their naan was so thin it was like a wafer cracker. Didnt care for that but overall lovely flavors and nice simple decor. They were also out of samosas when I was there, wanted to try those theirs but maybe another time.

This place is AWESOME. Favorites are the chicken tiki marsala, boneless chicken biriani, and the spinach panir. Meals areserved in a bowl with your choice of side of rice or flat bread. Its spicey good and the place is always full of natives. 5% discount for cash and you can expect leftovers for at least another meal. Highly reccomend.

Worst experience we never had!! We went on 06/ 14/2017 for dinning and ordered Dum Biryan. This is not biryani just they added rice and chicken pieces together and the chicken pieces was very cold ( ice in chicken ). The service also worst and menu prices and billing prices are difference. If you want enjoy the food please dont go.

We went to this restaurant at 9pm today. Restaurant closes at 9.30. We were asked to order to go instead of dine in as the cashier said he will close in 15 minutes. They seem to focus on closing the store promptly rather than serving the customers. We are not planning to go again. Giving 2 stars for their customer service.
