Really delicious Chinese Food that wont kill your wallet! Everything on the menu is amazing...be daring and try something new! The Orange Chicken is perfectly sweet and spicy. The Mushroom Chicken is rich, savory and hearty! Order the large portion because you will want to come back for more! The place is very small, but has an open atmospher and you can see you food being prepared. The restaurant is clean but the look is very predictable. Treat yourself to something delicious!

Not good. Ordered orange chicken and the woman behind the counter gave us general tsos chicken and insisted it was the same thing. Its not, rather than argue I took my order home. Fried rice very al dente, thats fancy speak for really hard. The "orange chicken" was a congealed global of mess. The chicken wings lacked flavor. I had to chew the beef of my beef and broccoli a few times before I could swallow it. My husband liked his crab rangoon (silver lining).

This place has been a staple in Watauga for years. Sadly, the original owners sold to another family and the taste is just not the same. Portions are still big and priced very well, but, there is no substitute for quality tasting food. 12-24 update....Mrs. Chen has returned to New China. She is one of the original owners. Hoping her presence in the kitchen gets the food back to where it once was.

If I could give it negative stars I would. The girl at the counter was not friendly but whatever. The part that got me is a specifically asked that no onions be placed in my shrimp fried rice only to find onions in it. It was a matter of health and not preference that I asked there be no onions so that went in the trash. The rest of the food had a greasy no flavor taste. Yuck.

Visiting from Utah, and we had to come here twice while here for dinner! Such a good deal, and even better food! The first time we came it was super busy, but the staff kept their cool and handled business! They even apologized later when it was calmer for the rush, but we told them not to! Definitely coming back here when we visit again!

Being from NYC this place is the closest to authentic Chinese food. Ive been going here for over ten years and have never left disappointed. The staff is friendly and attentive and have never left any bad impressions. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great meals at a reasonable price.

I am a lover of chinese food and havent really ever disliked any place that makes it. However, this place makes my stomach churn. My wife even said "you never dislike any food, what is going on?" I couldnt even eat. $35.00 worth of food, in the trash can.

Ive been going there for 8years. Great food. Great people. I recomand you to go here for fast and good chinese food. From $7-$8 you can get main, fried or steamed rice( they have really good fried rice) and soup. The portion you can share with two people.

Found this place about 4 years ago, and continue to frequent. Food is consistent, plentiful portions, and the staff is nice and easy to work with. Works great for a quick meal option, and very affordable on our familys pocket book.

New to the area and been looking for a new Chinese Food place. Tried the Pepper Steak today and it was very good. I got the lunch portion and it was plenty for two lunches. The lady working the counter was very nice and helpful.

The food is pretty decent. The portions are huge. I would not recommend the large for anyone on their own as they give you a lot of food. Prices are pretty good. I got takeout and the place was empty, but quick.

The food is good. The lady up front can come off a little rude, but I dont think she means to be that way. The rest of the staff is nice and helpful. We continue to go back with no regrets.

Great taste. But food gives you the runs. Might be to the dirty environment. Good lunch value. I dont think they change their oil at all. All the fried food has a dirty oil taste

I love this place. I come here fairly regularly and am always greeted by a friendly gentleman at the front. The food is always delicious and the servings are family sized.

This is the best low cost asian food in the Western Hemisphere. I drive 15 miles to enjoy it. Reminds me of chinese restaurants in Puerto Rico.

Goood food and nice size portions. The lady up front is a little rude sometimes, and the place needs a good deep cleaning and makeover.
