I go to Crave Kitchen for breakfast, most of the time I order the same things, but its never been anything but outstanding. The food is the #1 reason to visit, mainly the bacon waffle sandwich. This thing is packed with all the best ingredients for breakfast. Crammed between a folded over Belgian waffle is sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon and tomatoes. I feel like Im forgetting something else in there but once you drop the syrup on this monster youll have to finish it. My wife normally gets the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and its another must have. Along with being my second favorite thing in this place, you get two of them which normally means you can bring the other one home and eat it the next day for breakfast. Two meals for the price of one. The setting feels like its for young adults in their 20s. Fairly plain but with a "hipster" sort of flair. Theres never been more then a few other patrons at this spacious restaurant though. Plenty of seating inside and out but is almost never more than half full. The wall behind the bar has a few HDTVs with ESPN and other sports on most of the time with the volume pretty low so it doesnt fill the room. On most weekend mornings it seems like theres just as many employees there as customers. Service is quick and friendly. I asked for an iced mocha which isnt on their menu and the waitress had no problem making it for me. They do their job without being overbearing considering the ratio. Best food, comfortable setting, above average service.

The time spent waiting for that food is ridiculous. Its made even more ridiculous when it isnt even prepared the way I had asked it to be. My friends and I waited for 42 minutes for our food one time (yes I seriously timed it), only to have his Fried Chicken be completely raw and pink inside. The management apologized and took it off of our check and offered gift cards but the damage was done. Then as a surprise for my birthday my fiancé made reservations a week in advance for a large group of us to have the whole table by the fireplace outside. Well it was a wonderful setting; for a small group of people sitting there, instead of the 9 of us who were squeezed into the corner of the patio next to a freaking tree with only a view of the fire, all because the host had put the wrong time down AND completely forgot about our reservation, EVEN THOUGH my fiancé had confirmed the reservation earlier that day. There have been slightly better experiences here, but only slight, and not nearly good enough to justify the wait time for a table and the food, nor the prices they charge for everything. Aside from the mentioned issues, my fiancé still has a liking to the place for the Chicken Chicharrones and brunch. I would like to give this place another chance because I have liked my food, but Im not sure if it will be any time soon. The Chicken Chicharrones are good, I love their Shoestring Fries, Sweet Potato Fries with the Marshmallow Dip, and their Pesto. Thats all.

Ive heard a lot about Crave, seen the ads; so I was excited to check it out! The look of the building, interior space and outside dining areas are fantastic...modern, industrial, but warm & comfortable. The service was friendly & efficient. They offer a good variety of foods on the menu with classic sandwiches, salads, entrées, good variety of sides with little twists. The costs are slightly higher than some chains, but I was happy to pay for good quality food. When I placed my order for the Crave Burger & fries ($13), I had high hopes! I was very disappointed. I ordered my burger "no pink, but still juicy." The waitress said "medium well." My burger was not only dry, but hard to chew. The sautéed red onions were, in total, 2 interior rings, approximately 1 Tablespoon. The homemade Guinness steak sauce didnt taste like Guinness, but like a spicy ketchup. The really thin shoe-string fries were cold and tasted like the oil they were fried in. Honestly, I know mistakes can happen and Im hoping it was just an "off" night for the cooks. I will return & alter my review if the next trip is better. To be fair, I didnt bring the problems to the attention of our waitress, because the place was filling up & I didnt feel like having the conversation. They, quite possibly, would have replaced the order.

THIS LITERALLY JUST HAPPENED! WORST service ever! Went out after work tonight, with a friend to celebrate a great week..and staff could not have been any snottier! The bartender..Sal I think.. served me a martini with no olives..I sent it back..so he dumped it in a glass with ice on the rocks and gave it back to me. That was the only drink that actually had alcohol in it. Next, he served me two more vodka sodas, minus the vodka. We were celebrating, so we had a couple shots and were sitting at the bar, catching up and having a good time...and out of nowhere the manager appears and says the bartender counted up our drinks and went and told her not to serve us!!!! We were not doing anything! We did have a couple shots..but other than the martini he dumped in a rocks glass.. the drinks he served me were soda water with a splash of vodka. They literally made an issue out of nothing, and ruined our night! The food was ok..I ordered tuna tartar that was uninteresting and bland. My main complaint is the service..or lack of it. I travel for a living and eat at restaurants all over the country. This service will stand out in my memory as the WORST ever!!! I wish I had been drunk!

Google searched places to eat in El Paso and up popped Crave. I was visiting my boyfriend and am a culinary student, I wanted to try something new, trendy and worth my while. We stopped into crave for dinner and were seated immediately. The server was very helpful as I wanted to order an alcoholic drink, she had the bartender make me something special not mentioned on the menu and it was delicious. The food was amazing, a little over salted for my taste but still wonderful. We ordered one appetizer and 2 entrees. The sweet potato fries and marshmallow dipping sauce were delicious as well as the green chile mac n cheese. The ribeye tacos were the best tacos ive ever eaten!!!! We stayed for about an hour and a half eating and drinking to our hearts content. We felt very comfortable and I would recommend this restaurant to everyone I know. All in all a fantastic experience

Ive been to Crave a couple of times now, and when I got back from college I really wanted a great burger, but todays food (12-29-2013) was horrible. The service was really good compared to other days, we were seated right away and orders taken right on time. However when you go to a restaurant the food is the most important thing. My brother and I ordered two burgers his well done and mine medium-well. When we received our meal we got two great looking burgers. But the insides were just pink. My brother sent his back and they "cooked" it some more only to receive a slightly less pink patty. I understand that the way food looks is a huge factor, but sometimes you need to cut it open to make sure the customer gets what they want. The other times the food was alright, but sad to say if this is how the cooks are going to make the food, count me out.
