The service and sprite are the best things here. Service is fast. Good ambiance. Ordered chicken strips and fries for my son, and beef fajitas for myself. DH had combo enchiladas. Fajitas were stringy and gummy with a lot of fat. The meat tasted like water, with absolutely no seasoning. I could still taste water even after drowning the entire skillet in salt. Bleh. The guac in the setup looked "melted," but was good. The refried beans were really soupy, and also tasted like water. Needless to say, I was highly disappointed in Low Lupes after craving fajitas for 2 days. The spinach and mushrooms inside DHs enchiladas were raw and he couldnt finish them. The pricing is super affordable, I just guess you get what you pay for. We will go again on another day, just in case this was just a bad day or just a bad cook. Will update review accordingly.

Great food, okay service. Came for lunch on Friday because it was recommended by coworkers. The chips were okay and the salsa was watery (poor first impression!). I ordered the tacos al carbon, and the beef was DELICIOUS. I will probably be back just for the beef. Coworker got the lunch buffet ($6.50 what a deal), and another got beef fajitas (she LOVED as well). Order the beef! Ill be back :) Menu items were a little high for me, but for their beef Id pay it. They were definitely overstaffed and they didnt really smile.... staff needs work!

The food wasnt great, everything tasted like it came from a can or frozen foods. Tastes nothing like authentic Mexican food, the flour tortillas are store bought and not made at the restaurant. You would think that the food would be worth the money buy its not. I was very disappointed with the restaurant. The service was good but the food was a waste of money. And my wife found a hair at the bottom of the chips basket which ruined our appetite even more. People who know what real Mexican food is will agree with me

It could have been a little cleaner (floor felt sticky in a few places), but we _were_ arriving toward the end of service. Food was authentic tasting, with the exception of the limp, soggy tortillas for my fish tacos. Ambience was great. Traditional Mexican/Mariachi music was playing just loud enough to recognize, but not drown out conversation. The limp tortillas was pretty much the only flaw in the food. I would recommend this place and if I was in Dallas/Duncanville again, I would eat there again.

I went in for breakfast. Coffee was lukerwarm. I ordered a simple T-bone and eggs. The staff was arguing about tables. The waitress was giving me exucses on why they were arguing, and the fact that they did not have condiments and that the manager was not doing her job. There were at least six employees standing around and still my food came out cold and incomplete. I travel to this area frequently and have eaten here before. It has gotten sloppy and unfriendly. Time to go somewhere else.

Very bad food, charro beans r just regular whole pinto beans. Food is not good order the carne asada and it was dried and raw onions not cook.As soon as i got home had a bad stomach ache from the food i ate there, for the price i paid for bad food. Menudo is bad. My sister in law order coffee and they brought her buttermilk instead of milk for the coffee. I also order 2 tequila sunrise they brought it full of ice and no liquor. So this is not real mexican food. And we had a party of 30 people.

The food is good and the specials are great during Happy Hour in the bar. MUST try their Fried Ice Cream...but ask that they dont overheat the skillet. Service has always been good even though staff doesnt always speak good english. If you like Live music and a party atmosphere go at night. If you want to have a conversation go before 7? Best prices during lunch and happy hour. Smoking is allowed in the bar. Floors, tables, and bathrooms need to be cleaner.

Great place if you want watered down salsa and drinks. The salsa was so watery you could actually see the water! Out waiter brought out more "chunky" salsa. It look like tomatoes were cut up and added to the watered salsa. My Margarita taste like a virgin. I could taste the mix but where was the liquor? We stayed for 10minutes and left. I didnt even want to see what the food would actually look like and taste! I hate I had to even give a star.

The ONLY Mexican restaurant Ive been to where the food tastes like it was made with love! Everything I ate there was EXCELLENT! I recommend the charro beans instead of refried beans. These are soupy, whole pinto beans cooked in lavish flavor. I visited while staying at the Hilton and Im sad that I wont get to visit again after I go back home to Michigan. Word of advice to Los Lupes, please UPDATE THE MENU ON YOUR WEBSITE!

The banter with the staff is worth the visit alone. I felt at home at the restaurant. Beers are cheap enough too especially on a Tuesday I hear. The food is amazing also, however I am comparing what my palate knows to Mexican food back home in the UK - I understand Mexican food in USA is much better. Anyhow, I enjoyed the whole experience and they went the extra mile to accommodate me so close to closing time.

In all my years of eating Mexican food i have NEVER had food this TERRIBLE!!! The "queso" was cream of cheese out of a can and the food was bland. I would have been better off licking the contcrete off the streets of Guadalajara! I have travel all over the world and back again and this ia by far the worst food Ive ever eaten or paid for in my life. The swrvice was decent though.

The food is average text max. We tried the nachos, enchiladas and a shrimp cocktail. Everything tasted good. The service was a little bit slow. The restaurant appeared to be very clean. The temperature inside the restaurant was very warm for July. There were fans sitting around the restaurant So maybe the air conditioning was out. The beer was cold and thats what made it all OK.

$7.95 for all this (see pic) Fajita, chicken and/or beef, 3 tortillas, beans, guac, sour cream and pico! Dude, you cant beat that. Beef was a little on the tough side but I wasnt expecting A5 Wagyu beef here. The lunch specials vary and I would give them a call before I come but give this place a try if you are in the area.

The staff was kind and prompt in ordering, refilling drinks, and answering questions. My main concern was the taste. The menudo almost tasted burnt, way too much chili powder and salty. The chips had a flavor as if the grease hadnt been changed in a while. But the queso and salsa was nice. Id come back but try something else.
