My wife and I were told this was the place to go to on the square. Parking close is hard to find at night or on the weekends. I usually park in a free parking lot a block down on Oak Street across from Oak Street Draft House. When you arrive at LSA, you will see the downstairs. The downstairs seems more like the family area (I stay up stairs). When you go up the stairs you find another bar and tables. This is where the live music is located. Its an unbelievable view of Denton square. When its warm enough they open all the windows. Tip, go at sunset. Its a really cool tradition. Every day at sunset the upstairs bar hands out shots of beer to toast the beautiful sunset. The upstairs bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and talented mixologist. Best Bloody Mary ever!! They have about 8 beers on tab including some craft beers. Weve been here several times, tried several different burgers and menu items. The place is really clean, including the bathrooms. The food doesnt disappoint. The burgers have so many different options, from brisket to blue cheese to their specialty the "copperhead lode" which is the right amount of spicy and tasty! Even their crab cake "burger", the Janis is very good. The garlic fries with their "crack" sauce is always a must. Burgers are great too, Ive yet to try something I didnt like! The prices are pretty reasonable. Burgers avg. around $8, mixed drinks around $6 and draft beers $3.50. The staff is always helpful and the food comes out fast. Its located on Denton Square and one of the best places/ Best Bartenders around! I will definitely be back, many times! Check it out when you are in Denton.

I contacted LSA to see if they could host a company Christmas party for about 80 people. The events coordinator took a few days to respond to emails but I was excited about the venue, so I persevered. When we were getting down to the wire and needed to confirm the date and details, I emailed again with some questions. A few days later I called the restaurant to ask for her and the gentleman who answered the phone said she would give me a call. She emailed back, and I asked her if we could schedule a call to finalize details. She agreed to a date/time but didnt attend. I tried again to reach her by email but didnt hear back from her so, I called the store 3 business days later and was given her phone number. I called and left a message, tried to call again the next day and didnt hear from her. At this point my co-planner suggested we find another venue but I really wanted to make it work so I kept trying. I called the restaurant again and explained that we needed to finalize the date so we could send invitations but couldnt get ahold of the events coordinator. I was told the GM would call me that day. The next day, I hadnt heard from the events coordinator or the GM so I called again and asked to speak to the manager. I was told that a manager couldnt help me because only the events coordinator could schedule an event. I was very disappointed that we had to move the party elsewhere and start planning from scratch. Its a great location and ok for a dinner with friends/family, but I definitely wouldnt recommend it for events.

The only good thing about this place is the building. Its a super cool location with a great rooftop dining room. Sometimes theres live music or open mic night.. so thats cool. On to the part that matters.. The food has disappointed not once.. not twice.. but THREE times!! And yes, I have given LSA three shots. The first time we ate there, my burger was okay but way over priced. But my boyfriends chicken fingers were HORRIBLE! They were soggy and seriously inedible. I wouldnt have returned except my friends insisted on going. The second time, I had the lamb burger. It was okay.. but lacked the flavor I had hoped for. Plus I hate how you have to order your fries separately. Ours never came by the way.. The server never noticed that we didnt receive them (she never came back til she brought the check) but charged us for them. When we brought it to her attention she asked if we wanted to take them togo.. No, thanks. Please just take them off. I went AGAIN tonight with friends and we ordered the brisket queso.. which was good.. BUT the chips were super stale. I ordered the chili cheese fries and the fries were cold.. and the chili thats served with them lacked any flavor. So thats my story and Im sticking to it.

Our original bartender was good, but we started being served by another bartender whos service was awful, so we decided to move downstairs, but I wasnt sure if I was allowed to take my drink. I asked our rude bartender if I may, & he decided it was then a good time to look at me like I was stupid and elaborately tell me I needed to close my tab. Its safe to say I decided not to tip him. On our way out he runs over to us, shoves my receipt in my face and tells me how he doesnt know if I just turned 21 and dont understand that you should never stiff your bartender like that. I usually tip my waiters/waitresses/bartenders really well, but a tip is an optional courtesy we give to show appreciation and I had no appreciation for his service. After his speech he proceeded to take my still full drink and walk off. I made a complaint to management and he was kind enough to replace my drink and the bartender who served us downstairs was lovely and I happily left him a $10 tip and wish him the best of luck. I dont usually go out of my way to make complaints like this, but it was truly the worst service I have ever had.

My wife and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner here! LSA couldnt have hosted a better party. The bar staff was friendly, and the service from the wait staff was wonderful. We loved the music, and they even took our wedding invitation design and made a menu with our special ingredients. LSA made our rehearsal a night to remember. The food was great! During our happy hour, LSA provided several appetizers, the best being the queso dip stuffed with brisket. Amazing! The burgers were awesome- we wanted to incorporate our pueblo green chilies from CO and they turned it into an awesome green chili stew our guests could slop onto their burgers. On top of all the great food, the photo opportunities were outstanding. Our friends and family loved taking photos from the roof top of the historic Denton square, and having the old court house and lit trees in the background was a real treat. I highly recommend LSA Burgers for having delicious food and a wonderful staff. They couldnt have done a better job with our rehearsal dinner!

Dont go here with a family and sit up stairs at 7:00 on a Saturday night. Five minutes after we got seated, a band started playing at epic volumes. So loud that you had to yell at the person sitting next to you at the table so, they could hear you. I could understand if it was later, say around 9:00 but, at prime dinner times for families is just silly. Additionally, no warning from the hostesses that there would be extremely loud music if you sat up stairs. The waitress was very apologetic and said they just redid the sound system and it is way louder than it was before. Now on to the food. Had the garlic fries for an appetizer and they were very good. The drinks we ordered from the bar were very stingy on the alcohol. The first ones we got, we couldnt taste any alcohol at all. Food was hot when it came out so, thats good. The burgers were pretty average. They were cooked well done which in turned cooked all the flavor out of the beef. I had higher expectations
