I have been to Twisted Root before and I am not a huge fan of their burgers. Very dense meat and the burgers are thick and dry. I prefer a thinner juicer burger. The ambiance at this Coppell location is really great. Cool decor and a really large inviting beer garden in the back. If you take the kiddos they can go play in the splash area right behind the restaurant while adults talk and sip cocktails or beers. If only the food were better but you cant have everything I guess. Oh and I agree with Andrea Smith here. Coppell deli has a much better product and it is around the same price.

I love this place. Ever tried a buffalo or elk burger? Had a business meeting here and was in burger heaven. Very TEXAS style. Root beer is my favorite, and these guys have the formula down (even Butter Pecan and Vanilla options). Also, a well made MULE is extremely hard to find here...and they offer it to perfection. The food was great, waiting for the weather to warm to have dinner outside in the evening. The interior is aesthetic is amazing...if you are into that.

This place has a pickle bar! I love pickles and they have 5 different flavors to choose from and can get what you want. They have exotic meat selections that I didnt try yet but we have plans to return and try some. Burger patties are generous in size, but they seem to be lacking a little in spice. They have different sauces at the table to add flavor and they have the pickles. The fries are seasoned well and good size.

Had to wait 45 minutes for a burger after walking in the door. Order taking was slow and the food didnt come out very quickly. The burger was mediocre - Ive had better at Red Robin. Everything is self service here, no table waitstaff. People sitting at the bar even had to go pickup their burger at the counter. Also, there was a gigantic gross bug running across the floor as I left. I dont recommend the place.

Four words: Go to Coppell Deli. The food here was very greasy, the burgers are fried, not grilled. The bacon wasnt very good, the fries werent great either. The seating is very uncomfortable as there is no back support at all, and the dining area is very loud. Very disappointed- do not plan on returning.

Very disappointed in burger I had to practically choke down. It was too greasy and the patty seemed like a frozen one you get out of those packs from Sams. Is it too much to ask to include some tomato in a "classic" bacon cheeseburger. Maybe its because its a new location, but I was not impressed.

The twisted root in Coppell is such a let-down. I am used to the wonderful twisted root in Roanoke. I wished for years to get one in Coppell. Now we have one but it is disappointing. Burgers are greasy, they dont have sweet potato chips/fries, and the layout of the tables is messed up.

It took forever to order, but the staff was nice about it, and food came in a timely manner. I wish there was a little better explanation on what the "flash fried veggies" were (lightly fried green beans and carrots). Also love the original root beer and turkey nuggets.

Really loved it! I had the Camel burger medium rare, was juicy and very tasty, fried onion strings and their spicy mustard was like a great blooming onion. Also had an adult shake that tasted like the perfect Thin Mint cookie. Everything was great.

My party of 4 waited In line 30+ minutes and we were still waiting when we walked out. The young lady on the register was having issues and the other lady would come up help and then walk away only to have to come back. We will not be back.

Not impressed at all! The root beer taste was was missing something. It did not taste quite like the real root beer i have tasted that has a robust taste. I didnt care for the thinly sliced hard fries and the burger was average.

Good burgers, just so expensive. The bathroom is like an outhouse, but I actually dont mind it. Lots of room to sit, and a big bar as well. Friendly staff but I got mistaken for a girl because of my long hair hahaha.

I dont want to over-sell it, but that was the best turkey burger Ive ever had. Fries were okay. A little confusing regarding how to order and how to get our food. Bar is separate from food orders.

My favorite place to satisfy my burger craving. Burger is juicy without being overly greasy. Quincy the owner rode his Harley once to the restaurant and started bussing tables. Highly recommend.

Nice place to hang out but the burgers are no better than average. You get one leaf of lettuce and a slice of onion on the American Burger. The burgers are also small for a burger joint.
