I would give it One Star but its Christmas Eve and feeling charitable. In short. TERRIBLE and frozen not fresh fried shrimp. They were small, hard and firm and like cardboard! My friend had the 3 catfish and shrimp. He agreed on the shrimp and he had me taste his catfish (that I almost ordered because I love catfish but had it the night before) and it was so rancid and foul tasting I (pardon me) I had to spit it out. I guess in fairness I need to say he said the other two catfish tasted ok.. but I wasnt about to taste them Also, I think its time people stood up and said enough on $2.49 soft drinks. I ordered water thinking for .50 cents more I would opt for the 2.99 cheesecake for desert. Wrong on that too. Oh.. and they ran out of Dr. Pepper for my friend.. at the prices they charge they sure shouldnt run out! Oh well... we will not be back and hope this helps someone from having misery.

As I noted in YELP: Appetizers: The calamari strips themselves are very good but served w/ maranera sauce, not calamari sauce. Whats the point? And, if you like chicken wings you will disappointed: there is very little difference in the wing flavors. Dinners: The shrimp are large and are reasonably priced, but they are NOT deveined and the shells are nearly impossible to remove w/o tearing up the shrimp in the process. For me, thats three strikes. However, when it came to the crab legs and If crawfish, my wife & granddaughter report the buttery garlic & original were EXCELLENT: better than The Crab Shack. Would I go back? Maybe, but only if Im with one of these ladies, only for crab legs or crawfish, and only If we were in that part of town. There are too many restaurants these days w/ excellent shell fish offerings - many in that same neighborhood - not to try somewhere else.

I was coming from a movie with my husband and we went to the Boiling Crab but it was a 1 hour wait and packed! I remembered that I saw The Crab Station like right down the road on the same street. So we decided to go there. Food was great service was great! I left happy and not fighting for position at the other place. I mean people was waiting outside and everywhere. No space......Crab was Delicious! Im coming back. And not as expensive as I thought. Reasonable for seafood.

Food tastes great! Few items that werent so great: 1) service was sub-par. Took 10 minutes before they came over to take our order and that was only after we went up to ask the manager (?) what was going on. 2) food too a while to come out. There was a large party that had been there before us, but I know of other similar seafood establishments that have it down pat 3) crab and shrimp werent in separate bags so of course it doesnt help keeping the food hot

Nikki was the best server I have ever experienced in the Dallas area. Not only was she very helpful but she did it all with a smile! Ive visited the other crab station locations as well as MANY other Dallas seafood restaurants and I can honestly say this location is lucky to have such an outgoing server as Nikki andTheir great food makes this place #1 on my list. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The Boiled bag special included some the most succulent crab I have ever eaten in Dallas or Houston. The atmosphere is perfect for a night out on town to enjoy some good food. The manager is especially kind in his dealings with customers. The wait staff is polite and on point with everything that was requested. I give this establishment five stars and every star was earned.

THE BOILING CRAB IS OVERRATED. The spices here are about par or even better, I paid less than $200.00 with 4 people and we still took some home. Thats with their mix of seafood for 4, pale of beer, wings and 2 dozens of oyster. Every tasted amazing beside the wings. I would suggest anyone to try this out if they are even a die hard boiling crab fan.

On a expedition to Boiling Crab, dismayed at having to wait 2 hours to eat, we decided to try the competition and ended up here. Surprisingly good, better than expected anyway. I would say they even do some thing better than Boiling Crab. Great flavor, the options youd expect from a place like this, and friendly staff.

Best calamari I have ever had in my life, and I have worked at seafood restaurants in the past. The Gumbo is real good also. I plan on trying the fish one time, but I cant stop getting the Gumbo and calamari every time I go :) Best of all I live across the street from it, but it is well worth a drive for it

Its a really good place. I used to drive through rush hour traffic and wait 45 mins to an hour at Cajun Corner. This place is just as good and has one of the most amazing wings I have ever had. And they have margaritas which is a plus! And the bread pudding, melt in your mouth good. Also, NO LINE!

My husband and I have been here before, but tonight we had a reservation and we sat down and waited 30 to have a server come over, when the lady asked us what we would like to deink, we told her, we were forgotten about. This really upsets me I love the food, but I will not be back

Just a few blocks away from the boiling crab but with 1/4 the wait time. Most nights we are able to just jump on the bar or get seated right away. So far all of the sacks have been top-tier but personally love the extra Shazam (hot) with snow crab, crawfish and sausage.

Service was good, atmosphere was decent and food was good. We had 1 lb crawfish, 1 lb shrimp and 1 lb snow crab and it was over $70. Pricey in comparison to Crab and Claw in Carrollton and Nates in Addison. Both are just as good if not better for half the price.

Nikki was a great server. She was on it. The food was delicious and the price was worth it. I came here because my partner won some free food and I was very surprised how good the food was. I would highly recommend this restaurant and location.

The crab station is absolutely the best place to go get shellfish. I cant explain the addiction that I have developed eating here. All I can say is I come here every week and I can see myself coming here for the rest of my life. Im committed.

This place is phenomenal!!!! The only reason im not rating it a 5 is due to my 25yrs of experience in the restraunt buisness....a quick server training class would be beneficial! I recommend this place, you wont be disappointed!!

Absolutely love this place!! Mild sauce is nothing close to mild but it was still incredible! I had the raw oysters and calamari for starters and shrimp and crab (#2 on the menu) and I was impressed to say the least.

I got the 1lb bag of jumbo shrimp, potatoes, corn on the Cobb and sausage, mixed in with a spicey rue that is absolutely to die for. You cant eat it all at once. It take me about 3 settings to finish the whole bag.
