O_O i was sent here by a lot of people. Im a security guard and the people around this shopping center told me i should try it. I called in and the woman helped me order. I told her what sounded good and she told me a dish that i would like. she said itd be ready in ten minutes. (orange chicken) When i went to pick it up, i was surprised by how small the building was. When i walked inside, i was surprised. I felt like i had stepped into another world. its very asian cultured. very small. very cute. by every definition, a hole in the wall. There was an older gentleman cooking. An older women came from a back room, smiled at me and asked me if i needed help. I told her i ordered over the phone. We started talking and she mentioned that her and her husband had been there for 30 years. I was so surprised. The man finished cooking and put it in a container for me. She put it in a bag. 6 bucks for lunch. CASH ONLY this place. I left with a huge smile because the couple was so sweet. very nice, respectful people. The food...was amazing. it was very tasty. The chicken was not the best quality but it was very good. There was a lot of cabbage in my meal, and that was a great change. I ate 3 hours ago and im STILL full. I would definitely go back. This is my new favorite Chinese food restaurant. Try this place. you will be happy you did.

My family and I have been patronizing this little gem for probably 15 years now, and we think it is the best Chinese food in "The Cliff"! The food is prepared in an open kitchen when you order it, and you can see the cook doing it. ALL the veggies are chopped FRESH daily and there are LOTS of them in everything you order. No skimping on the meat, either! The owners are friendly, and greet everyone with a smile! Just what youd expect from a little classic hole in the wall place! Great food at great prices for generous portions! Dont expect a lot of fancy decor or a 5 star wait staff. Their focus is on friendly, fast service at great prices, and they have lots of regulars. Truly a hidden gem!

I know this particular restaurant is still in business however the food is certainly not like it used to be. The cook and cashier that were there between 1980-1998 are no longer there. The food quality and taste is NOT good. I went by on August 25, 2010 just to try it again to see how the food was and I was certainly disappointed. I tried the combination fried rice and it was just aweful. Eat there at your own risk. If you patronized this restaurant back in the 80s and 90s you will certainly know and taste the difference. If you are new to the Chinese Food game....then you may love it. To each his/her own. I definitely wanted to weigh in and give my opinion

If I could give them zero stars I would. I found a dead roach sitting at the bottom of my food today and Ive seen them inside the restaurant as well. I was refunded my money but insects of that nature...in food? It is unacceptable and I would be wrong for not saying something about it and warning others not to eat here. If you do, buyer beware. The elderly owners that were here before I never had this problem but the new owners have Im sure have let this go on for quite some time. Im sorry but somebody has to say something to keep the public safe if they arent going to do it.

OMG.... I miss the older MAN THAT COOKED AND HIS WIFE BEFORE THEY WERE IN WYNNWOOD THEY WERE DOWNTOWN. MY MOTHER and I shared many memories there. Now I cant go there anymore the food is not good seeing roaches crawling is not good either! The new people are nice but I go out to eat for memories and great food only.

The best fried rice ever. The best egg rolls ever. My only complaint is they are not open on a regular schedule. Its hit and miss so call before going. Other than that the food tastes awesome and they give you a lot of food.
