The husband found a review of this place on Thrillist, saying this was THE burger joint to try in Richardson. So we decided to venture out and try it out. So we pull up to the intersection, and at first we were a bit confused, because its in a dead, virtually empty, strip center. Seriously, at least 10 closed down stores. We walked in, expecting a pretty big crowd for a gorgeous Friday afternoon, but only about 3 tables full. The place is neat and clean, and a pretty awesome little stage for live entertainment at the front. College Softball was playing on the TV, and we strolled up to the counter to order. The menu is pretty basic; lots of burgers and sides and even some amazing looking milkshakes. We each ordered a burger and split an order of fried pickles. The food was out pretty quickly, which was much appreciated! They have a condiment bar in the back, where the hubby piled on tomatoes and pickles, etc. All looked fresh. The burgers were delicious, juicy, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. The fried pickles were yummy as well, and clearly hand-breaded and not previously frozen. Overall, a win! We will be back. Giving these guys 5 stars, because they may need them being in that crazy location. :-) They also have a well-stocked beer fridge with craft beers and local goodies.

A fantastic burger. Great onion rings and tater tots. The owner is hands on and wants to please. His grandfather and/uncle owners of Jakes and Kellers. Well known and loved burger restaurants in Dallas. Owner learned well from them. Very "service oriented". We would really like to see him make it. Give it a try We love it!!

this place has absolutely amazing burgers and I really enjoy the bottle caps (fried jalapeños), they also have a huge variety of hot sauces as well. the staff and management are friendly and professional. the beer selection is diverse from local brewerys to imports and domestics, plus the live music give this place a unique vibe!

Was there when the original manager and owner was there LOVED the service and interaction. Made it a point to go weekly. Visiting now, under new management (2nd or 3rd visit now). New management and personnel not as personable but its still not a bad quiet place to get a good hearty burger.

1/3 lb burger and the fries are one of the best I have had in Dallas. There is a cold topping bar where you can add onions, tomatoes, pickles, and lettuce (plus different sauces). Service is fast and friendly. Great neighborhood place. You need to try this place out.

Nothing to write home about. The onion rings are ok, but the burger was pretty much floating in grease and the music was horrible and annoyingly loud. If you really want a great burger, try Burger Island, the food is much better and so is the price.

Overpriced and the food isnt that impressive. Worst of all is how ridiculously long they take to bring the food out and the black flakes that come out of the soda fountain into your drink.

Burger was fantastic! Super juicy and so much flavor. Tator tots were great too. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. And the cherry on top is they have Big Red on fountain!
