As far as Im concerned, this is the best wine bar in DFW. My brother is in the business & discovered this treasure of a hidden wine bar after being disappointed in several other wine bars that fell flat. I have also visited some other places, & find myself wishing I was back @ Bodega Bar. Amier, the owner is wonderful-extremely humble & always smiling-if it is education you are looking for, he has a plethora of information. Or, if he knows your palate, and you dont want to have to think about it, he is great @ doing the choosing for you, in line with whatever your price point may be. The staff is amazing-Stephanie also has a great knowledge of wine, & a great dry sense of humor. Pepe, the waiter/cook/concierge :) is a staple @ Bodega. He has been working for the family for 20 years & goes above & beyond to make you feel comfortable. Also, you probably havent been in a more visually pleasing bar in your life. The water wheel in the main room is only surpassed by the magnificent lions guarding the beautifully carved ornate wooden fireplace & the large oak barrels above the bar go perfectly with the lovely crystal chandeliers in the cellar, which is visible through huge glass windows in the back room. Last but not least, the music selection is great! Perfect variety! Ill be a regular as long as Bodega Bar is here!

Absolutely charming!!! You are instantly transported to a cozy European "wine cave" upon entering this little hidden gem! Fine wine, expert staff, and intimate old world ambiance, in the neighborhood! BRAVO!!! 5 stars +++.

Love this place! Loved when it was over in Highland Park but still worth heading over to the new location! Amazing selections and the owner is so nice, friendly and knowledgeable! Recommend it to everyone!

OK, I love wine. So does my wife. Finally stopped in. Yay! Having a great spot to enjoy some wine is just wonderful. Knowledgeable staff that just loves wine. This will become a very regular hangout.

LOVED the atmosphere, but the food was rather disappointing. Ill probably go back just for the wine and the cozy atmosphere. (Although if the food quality improved, you couldnt get me to leave!)
