The food is what lands Barcadia on Henderson on the map. The arcade selection was "meh" but the staff were very nice and the happy hour specials (both food and drink) were well worth it. Back to the food: its definitely at the high end of bar food. Its still bar food, and I wouldnt put them up against a sit-down restaurant, but its really good bar food. I ordered the mini-cheeseburgers, and *they asked me how I wanted the burgers cooked*. That just doesnt happen at bars, or so I thought; it happened here, and they were perfectly cooked to a heavy medium-rare. The fries are very thin, so its pretty much all "outside" (the fried layer). You dont get much body / potato-meat to them. Both the regular fries and sweet potato fries are very good. The red onions on the burgers werent sharp-tasting at all; they were a zesty sweet.

Going out with the wife, usually ends up being the "most lavish-AKA pricey", restaurant with a patio I can find... Not tonight my friends. If you enjoy friendly, polite, well groomed...attractive tattooed ladys with a job to do and the know how to do so. Constantly smiling, serving and paying attention. Music, constantly flowing, changing and all around... A patio that not only was comfortable, misters flowing over head (outside temp 81) kept us comfortable all night. Food that was wonderful to taste, promptly prepared and served. Glass never empty and a dessert that was home made, but rivaled any bake off at a local church... Then this place is for you. Not a 5, but for the night, it was a ten! Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to enjoy a night out... BTW, no need to over dress. Have fun!

Walked ordered a beer at the bar and was told a waitress would be with us in a few mins to order food at the table. 30 mins later I walked back up to the bar to get menus and had a blonde female bartender give me an attitude. Once we decided I went back to the bar and the same blonde female tell me we suppose to order with the wait staff. I let her know that had one stopped to take my tables order I would have been glad to but in 45 mins I had yet to have a single person stop. She got pissy again. Not an awful place and honestly the rest of the staff was ok but the place is crowded, over price and rude. Top that with the $10 valet only parking and it's a rip off. I really liked the idea of the bar but it is lost behind a "we're so cool" mentality that the bar just doesn't live up to.

If youre on a date, or just taking the wife out for a fun night - dont go here. Youll get into a fight for sure. This place needs work in every area, starting with staff training. Most of them act as though they dont care. They have yet - in my three trips there- to get any order correct. When you bring it to their attention they act like youre being an a-hole and treat you like it for the rest of the evening. I was so ignored I actually think I could have walked the check. Forgetaboutit! There are much better places to spend your money and enjoy your date.

A very cool, chic bar and hangout. Video games, craft and select beers at decent prices, plus live music and djs on a large shaded patio right off Henderson? Yes, that is this place. Parking can be a challenge, but is well worth it. Clientele is very diverse, from young professionals to service industry, artists and realtors, LGTBQ groups and hipsters galore. Its a very casual, but still stylish place, music is fantastic and the atmosphere is wonderful. Everyone is friendly and having a good time here. Very busy on weekend nights, so plan accordingly.

Well Im definitely not coming back here again. Bartender only gave us 2 minutes before she started complaining that we were taking too long and holding up the bar. Never been told at a bar that I was taking too long to order booze. Also this place has a pretty big menu so its going to take me longer than two minutes to read the whole menu. Plus it doesnt help to have a pushy bartender in your ear every minute when you are trying to make a selection on their over priced alcohol. Also some of the games werent working either. Not pleased at all.

The games were cool; classic selection. Which unfortunately was the highlight of the place. The service was terrible (Im looking at you blonde bartender who yelled at me and my friends because our tips werent sufficient enough for you), the drinks were really pricey even compared to other pricey and more adequate places, and the interior design looks like its slapped together. I really wanted to like this place, but it just wasnt enjoyable. If youre wanting a night of fun, drinks, and games youre better off going to Dave and Busters.

Designed for Hipsters, although Hipsters think they are too cool for it! Only 3 Skeeball, and 12 other arcade machines. 3 of which were broken. ***Super Mario game still broken per review from below! Drinks are overpriced, and Wait staff was ridiculous. Took forever to get some food, and it was cold when it arrived. Bartender spilled a beer over the counter on me and said nothing to me in the way of sorry or heres something for your soaking wet shirt and pants, Could have at least used a napkin!

I always have a good time when I go to barcadia. Good wait staff (better bartenders) than alot of the places on Henderson avenue. Bunch of old school arcade games, skeeball, outdoor patio with oversized Jenga (wooden blocks). Bring lots of friends with you as this is a very social place. Wouldnt recommend the lone wolf to venture here. Although if youre very friendly you could make some amazing friends at this place! Sunday brunch is the bombshizzzz! $1 Mimosas from 11-3 on Sunday.

Atmosphere was good. Music was at a loud volume. Drinks a little pricey. Some bartenders demanded tips, which a bartender should never do. Some arcade machines took money, not allowing for players to pay. That needs to be fixed to be called an arcade. Also spacing was a big issue. In arcades they line up the machines back to back, not up against a wall. Other than that, it was fun. Probably will not go back again.

Pretty good selection of beer. Wait wasnt long at the bar, but its not a great experience unless youre with a group. Really overpriced in my opinion though. I thought it was going to be a pretty chill spot, but they were playing really loud club music the whole time when we went. It was still really loud outside. I feel like theyre not sure what kind of joint they are. $5 parking wasnt too bad though

The blonde bartender must be do some favors for the management. She had terrible reviews a while ago and it is well deserved. The worst attitude I have ever gotten from a bartender and the first that I havent tipped. Run down and terrible service. I will never go back. With good service and some work on the interior it could be a fun place. The drinks were weak and terrible as well.

its a cool place to go but the woman bar tender wouldnt let me back in after someone I was with took his drink outside. I mean he had his drink in his hand while going outside to his car to get the rest of his money. it was an accidental mistake to keep the drink in his hand but you didnt have to kick out our whole group. she suck for that, but other than that its cool spot
