WHAT experience? 2 1/2 Hours after stepping through their doors, Im still STARVING. Might have been somewhat forgivable except I scoped out the restaurant at noon and was advised to return at 2 p.m. because I wanted to ride the Ferris Wheel. I arrived at 3 p.m. requesting patio seating because I had a pooch with me so I was asked to climb stairs even though Im disabled (they have an elevator, which doggie frequently rides nearby at the condo). Its not like the elevator is anywhere near food. Its to the side by the hostess station way far away from customers and the kitchen. The hostess stated Id probably not be able to eat until 5 p.m. (!) so I went to the FW man and asked him what the deal was. He made a phone call, and I was assured Id not have to wait until 5 p.m. So I climbed up the stairs to the patio and had to go find a hostess. 10 minutes, although there was a server at an empty bar pretending he hadnt seen me. I was eventually seated outside and met by a waitress who stated in a "fun" voice how nice it was and she wished she wasnt there. Hmmmm... I ordered the "quickest" thing -- plaintains werent available, nor was the corn on the cob for Baja corn appetizer. I settled for their Ambrosia Salad which amongst many wonderful things like mango and figs, promised to have the bite of jicama as well. Came quickly enough, and I started to dig in -- no jicama. So I told the hostess because server was "on break". While waiting, I started to fork through the salad, and the salad was made up of rotten looking arugula -- slimy, some leaves with holes, brown ended stems. A mess. Of course I was afraid to eat it so I asked the new waitress for a replacement. 45 minutes later.... no salad. No waitress. Warm water in the glass (and the bugs that come out by say, 4:30 p.m.). Id ordered "ghouda mashed potatoes". Tasteless as cardboard but my dog enjoyed them. BTW, the salad? $10.99! I waited and waited and waited, swatting gnats out of my water glass. And waited. Finally, I had enough. It was after all after 5 p.m. and I was STILL hungry. I went downstairs to pay for the potatoes. Was asked to air my grief to the manager on duty, and "Id be taken care of". Sure, she listened, said "I dont know what could have happened".....and sent me on my way .... STILL HUNGRY. I mean, really? BAD service, including sending away a customer STILL HUNGRY after TWO hours. I am not a prima dona, but this experience is inexcusable on so many levels... well... be warned.

Overated, if you ask me. I heard so much about this place but i was extremly disappointed. Upon entering the hostess ask how many in ur party n if their not all there the hostess wont allow the party to be seated. Which i understand. The dine in is up elevators and they could be dineing others while your waiting for your party. So they offer the outside bar. I thought it was cool. An outside bar get the ocean breeze and and if you want a walk on the beach. The weather was uneasy though so it wasnt gunna happen. The margaritas were over prices to be put in a plastic disposable cup. The hostess had taken my name n number and quoted 20 min. Before seating. I n my party waited for nearly an hour. I confronted the waitress n her response was that i was suppose to call her. Which was obviously a cover for her mistake. I then countered it with how am i suppose to call you when u took my name number not the other way around. I had no problem calling if i was given a direct number for a status report. I didnt settle to wait down stairs n e longer n my guest n i were informed that floor 4 was preparing for us so we headed to 4. The dining experience was aweful. The waiter was as helpful as he could be but i soo learned that as we were seated there was only half an hour left for our dining experience. I did not let that hold my guest back for enjoying our companies n we found the staff were rushing our meals n conversation by shutting down the dinner n shutting down the bar even check up on me n the ladies in the restroom to rush us out. The food. I ordered half a pound of fajitas for. 15.99. Was not wowed at all, not even satisfied. The food was i admit differrent. Not what im used to. It was black beans and some sort of seasoned rice. Pinches or pico cheese n spoon full of guacamole. For the price that was for my plate, I thought i could of dined in at any mexican resturant and get not only a better plate, but dine in experience, service and quality. My guests ordered sandwhiches n burgers. Extremly overpriced. 15 bucks a plate i thought was ridiculous for the food. It was like a burger baskets at a food shack. Which taste good, but not for 15 bucks. N e other burger or sandwhich place i can think of isnt that expensive. Overall experience was completely unsatisfactory. I would not go back not in a angry bitter sense but more of i think i can find a more quality place to enjoy my drinks and meals.

My wife and I spent the day in Corpus Christi walking up around the USS Lexington and decided to walk to Fajitaville for lunch (about 1/8th of a mile down the beach). It looks like a decent restaurant from the outside but once you sit down to eat things change a bit. We ordered A garden salad to start which should have been straight forward, however they ran out of croutons??? Okay I guess that is not a big deal but should be mentioned up front. So we then order the lobster bisque soup....that was a mistake. It looks and tastes like it came straight out of a can from the local grocery store and the first two bites I found crushed shells in it! Needless to say no points are being won at this point. We then order something simple...the chicken quesadilla. The chicken was hard as a rock and way over cooked...they loaded it with grilled onions, way more than anyone would desire and one slice of red bell pepper...in the entire quesadilla. We left still hungry and still paid for most of the food. The waitress was kind but not really with it...hungover maybe??? I would not recommend going there to eat.

TERRIBLE! Dont waste your time or money. We waited almost 2 HOURS to get our appetizers (which they got one of them wrong). We agreed to the 2 hour wait for the 3rd floor(21 & up only). But the hostess forgot, so we ended up on the 2nd floor. Our appetizers were brought up to us. The manager did apologize for the delay and explained the computer system was down. I was hoping the meal would make up for it..... wrong! Ceviche = dry, tasteless, served lukewarm. Grilled chicken salad = very plain, not worth $9! Octopus macaroni = disgusting, dry, tasted worse than boxed macaroni. Fajitas = bland, one of them was served cold. The waitress took forever to refill our drinks, give us tortillas for our fajitas, and overall was not attentive. By far the worst experience ever. I was willing to wait the 2 hours because we had some time to kill and I was hoping the appetizers would hold us. But everything was served late. Never expected our appetizers would take 2 hours. Then when we did finally order, our food took another 1.5 hours. Ruined our Friday night.
