I dont usually write reviews, but I had to on this restaurant because the service here is just a disaster! Good food, but horrible service! My 3-year-old daughter didnt even get her food until everyone else was done and ready to leave. Other restaurants make kids a priority. Not here! We also had to ask repeatedly for refills. And to top it off, there was a spill on the floor when we came in with a caution sign next to it. Not a big deal, except the spill and the caution sign were still there an hour later when we were leaving. Our waiter walked past the spill several times during our visit. Theres no excuse to care enough about a spill that you can put down a caution sign, but cant grab a mop at the same time to clean up a mess. I maybe could understand if they were busy, but they were pretty dead. No plans on ever going back!

Very expensive. They tell you about this new revised dish size. Their large is about the size of the normal bowl they gave you before the upgrades. The bowl they give you is enough for like a handful of meat and a few vegetables. They dont offer a second time around anymore. I dont like that they add the sauce in after its cooked. It makes it too overwhelming thus making it taste like some failed attempt at Asian food. Id rather it cooked in the sauce like HuHot does so the flavors cook into the items and cook off. My wife and I both got one bowl, no appitizers, and each a drink and it cost us 40 dollars. We could have eaten at a Chinese buffet twice for that price. Hell we could have eaten Great Wall for 5 days straight for that price.

The food was ok. But the service was horrible. My nieces took me and sister in there for our b-day dinner. The waiter was very impatient. He would walk away when we were talking to him. He screwed up our tickets and not once did anyone came to our table to apologize for the mix up. Then one of my nieces over heard our waiter and the other waiter calling us stupid people. And to top it off the guy that said he was manager wasnt even a manager. Dont know what they were trying to pull over us. But I think they were trying to over charge us so they could pocket the money. Ill never recommend this restaurant ever. And believe me if anyone ask me about them, I will tell them "Dont Go!"

The ONLY reason I am giving 3 stars is because the food is really good, the guys that were on the grill were friendly and efficient. If our server had been more concerned with our stay, rather than his friend in the bar he was talking to, we would have enjoyed ourselves. He had 2 tables. The other table was a lady that didnt even get her drink until the other server brought her food and asked her what she needed. The other server, was the only one out of 3 that was trying to help everyone that the other 2 were slacking on. Everytime we go, service is worse than the last time. If there was another Genghis in town, I wouldnt even return.

Ive only been once since they changed the menu and bowl selection. But the food is still good. You have the option of bowl sizes or ordering off a menu. Typically I get a bowl. Last time I selected a medium bowl. Thats when you go to the line and select meet choices and pile them on. Then you can select spices adding however much you want. Then the veggies and sauce. You then take your bowl over to the grill. You will be given an option to select noodles or rice , and to add an egg or not. If you built your bowl right it will always come out tasting amazing. If not...well its your own fault.

Failing business. Everything looks and feels dirty. They cant even pay a landscaper to keep the property looking good. The grass and weeds outside are at least a foot tall with bushes left ungroomed. Upon entering business I was not greeted by the proper staff member to place a to go order because she was leaning over the counter talking to the cooks on the other side of the restaurant. The last award they won was in 2011 and you can see why. This place has been on a steady decline since then. Would not have eaten here if it were not Easter Sunday and everything else was closed.

We ate at Genghis about a year ago and it was good but seem kind of pricey but it was all you can eat. We went in today. The place was empty at 1230pm, we were wondering why, we got to our table which was filthy, the menu was also nasty and sticky! The servicer was very sweet and super embarrassed! Then he brought over the bowls and told us the prices. Holy cow it was a lot almost $15 for one bowl... which when cooked would be about half a plate of food.. we just left. very very disappointed. I doubt Ill ever go back. We went down the street to hu hot :-)

We appreciate the variety & freshness of the ingredients. Love the different seasonings & sauces. We dined there yesterday & were impressed with the waiters attentiveness. I had forgotten pineapple to put in my bowl. Which is one of my favorites ingredients. The waiter came to our table & asked if we were ok. I said yes, except I forgot pineapple. Immediately, he offered to get the pineapple for me & had it grilled & brought it right back. That was really nice of him. We looked for his name on the receipt & saw El Capitan.

Its great food, but if you plan on bring a child that likes to move i dont suggest it. The tables are not bolted to the floor so everytime my child move he would push the table. Its very annoying when youre trying to eat. The server also forgot to bring straws to us with our drinks and we had to walk over to the bar to get our ticket to pay because she was too busy over there half the time. (Mind you, we were there in the morning and no one was sitting at the bar)

3 CO WORKERS AND I PUT IN AN ONLINE ORDER; AND ONE OF THE CO WORKERS HAD VOLUNTEERED TO GO PICK UP AT HER LUNCH HOUR TO PICK UP ALL THE ORDERS, WHEN SHE GOT THERE SHE WAS NOT EVEN HELPED AND THEN SHE HAD TO GO AND MAKE THE FOOD HER SELF BC OF NO ONE HELPING HER!! THEY ARE RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE OF HARD WORKING PEOPLE THAT GO OUT ON THEIR LUNCH BREAKS TO GET FOOD, SHE NOW HAS WASTED HER WHOLE LUNCH HOUR TO MAKE FOOD THAT WAS NOT IN HER PLACE TO DO!!!

Unfortunately I was very dissapointed with the service tonight due to the lack of service, was only approached twice in a 2 hr period by server: Denetrice and had the manager "Steve" questioning me about inquiries he had. Did not like the service or the way the manager approached me while I ate with my family. Very unprofecional. Love the staff that works in the morning and lunch times. 12/19/2016

Vegetables arent very fresh and the Tofu seemed a little spoiled and I eat tofu constantly, which is why I was skeptical about eating it and decided not to. This is the second time Ive come to visit and the tofu seemed off. The vegetables all looked as if they were lacking in freshness and I ended up puking after eating the food.
