Tonight was my fundraising night at my sons school. Because I have ordered from here several times I had no problem participating but tonight I received the absolute WORST service ever. It started when I called my order in, something I always do when I eat here. I was asked if I wanted my usual and I told him no. I placed an order for my son asking for a particular vegetable to be removed. I then tried to place my order and as I was on the website realized the menu was different. I told the gentleman this and said I was looking for something similar to what I had ordered in the past and he immediately cut me off saying "Well I deleted that because you said you didnt want it." I didnt want the original order, just wanted to know what part of the website would have that particular type of dish but I never got a chance to get that complete sentence out because I continued to be interrupted. I knew I was dealing with a kid so I refrained from doing what I would have normally done and remained polite. I went to pick up my order, and when I got home it was not only wrong, but there was only 1 entree - no kids meal. I go BACK to the restaurant, and while they were admittedly busy with other orders (someone mentioned they had a $300 order that slowed them down), they managed to speak to everyone who came into the door except me. (Did I mention I was the only minority in the restaurant at the time?) After FIFTEEN solid minutes of being ignored ONE worker finally acknowledged me just as I was about to blow my top. He apologized and told me I got the wrong order, then gave me the correct one - only it was still wrong. I just decided to go home and make it work. I will NEVER eat at this place again. I dont know if management changed, or if it was a bad night, but there are too many other options nearby for me to deal with this kind of treatment when Im paying YOU. Too bad I cant give you ZERO stars. Off to Yelp now.....

This particular location has declined in food and service. On June 21st I placed an online order of Shrimp Pad Thai (extra shrimp, extra egg, peanut allergy). When I got home the order was only rice noodles and shrimp, the cook did not add the egg or the sprouts and cilantro which come with the order. I went back to this restaurant and the manager apologized and said he will have the cook make the order again, he took my receipt and said he would also refund the money and then he handed my order to the cook to make again. Fifteen minutes later the order comes out LOADED WITH PEANUTS!!! Hello death due to a peanut allergy. The manager caught it and immediately threw it away and said he will have the cook try once more. He yelled at the kitchen saying they are not paying attention to the order details. Third time, the order still was not right but close, Ill take it bc the manager said he processed a refund. Speed up to 7 days later, guess who debit card was charged the full amount! Thats right, mine! Not only is this location incompetent in the kitchen staff but the manager is a liar as well. This used to be my favorite location but over the past few months Ive noticed the decline in how the food taste and the accuracy of the orders. This is not our first issue with this location, but this was definitely one of the worst because of a food allergy that the cook was not paying attention too and that it left the kitchen. Had I actually touched or inhaled that, the reaction would of been horrendous. To the owner who replied: I did complete the online form twice last week, before posting this review on Yelp! or Google. Your customer service either does not reply or it takes weeks to respond. Another indication of the lack of service you receive from Pei Wei these days.

This Pei Wei has horrible customer service. We ordered food for take out, 4 items in total and ask for extra sauce for 2 of those. When opening the boxes at home we found that none of them had any sauce and there were 2 sauces on the side. The dishes are no good without any sauce, so we called them. The attendant handed the phone to the manager (John) who kept insisting that there was sauce on the dishes. We offered to bring it over to show that there wasnt any and pick up our sauces, we just want some sauce. He replied that they were closed and that he will comp our order next time. We called this Pei Wei the next weekend and tried to place the order with the manager. The manager only wanted to comp for 2 of the dishes and insisted that there was sauce on them. He basically told us we were lying. All he needed to do is say that they were sorry for the mistake and that would have been enough. He was rude and showed no acceptance that they could have made a mistake. There were several dishes without any sauce, plain white bare chicken, its not hard to tell when you are eating boiled chicken and white rice, and he kept insisting that we were making the story up. His behavior was completely unacceptable for a small issue like that. He is losing long time customer due to his rudeness.

We ordered 4 items at around 940p on Friday 3rd. We had specially asked for extra sauce on each of the items on the side. The restaurant did not put ANY sauce on any of the dishes but just gave us extra sauce on just two of the items. We called back immediately to notify of the problem and letting the store know that we are driving back. However, the store attendant informed us that the store was closed since it was after 10p. Further, the store manager (John) kept on arguing with us that there was sauce on the dishes. Finally he said that he will place a credit for a future order. When we called in for the credit this weekend, he rudely told us that he will only credit 2 of the orders instead of 4 and kept on arguing that the dishes had sauce. His behavior on the phone is completely out of line. Such kind of poor and rude customer service should not be tolerated.

Pros - Clean, professional, quick, consistent quality, and friendly service. Cons - Nothing on the menu really sticks out. They have a couple salads that are good, their Pei Wei Spicy is good, their Dan Dan Noodle bowl is decent but nothing is amazing or particularly authentic tasting. I prefer the authentic local asian place. My favorite in this area is Pho Huong Nam (formerly Huonh Long), or either Asian Mint or the Mint in Dallas, or Mais if you are down by Baylor hospital. Pei Wei is not bad but there are better places out there for sure.

Ordered the honey seared chicken in lettuce cups. The menu describes it as: Red bell peppers and scallions, wok-tossed in our signature honey-seared garlic sauce. My honey seared did NOT have one red bell pepper and the scallions were not wok-tossed. They were raw and scattered on top. My hubby asked about it and they brought more raw red bell peppers and scallions to the table. The restaurant was a complete disaster when we came in and I should have known the food and service would be no better. Will not be back.
