It was my first time there, and I only went because my wife dragged me there. Now, its my favorite breakfast cafe. The atmosphere was great, the owners and staff are genuine salt of the earth, and the food...ladies and gentlemen, there really are no words. I called it a hole in the wall (which the owner found amusing), but now Id call it a hidden treasure in DFW. The only drawback is the parking, which means that if you want a good seat, youd better get there early. And if all the spots are taken, just be patient. Its worth the wait.

Second time visiting Eggscellent Cafe. Eggscellent service, eggscellent food, and eggscellent atmosphere. Highly recommended. We had a big party today with 4 small children and they took outstanding care of the kids and our waitress, Robin was one of the best. We also met the owner, who was a very kind and gracious host. We will definitely be returning and bringing guests there again. Happy to hear their business is booming and theyre opening a second restaurant in Little Elm.

My wife and I have been coming here weekly since the restaurant opened; they are family owned and they make their customers feel like a family member with their generous food portions and wonderful service. Be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes on the weekends but the food and service more than make up for the wait. With the success of this location, they are opening another location in Frisco. I am excited for their future in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

This was our first time in! Love it. The coffee had an amazing flavor, some breakfast joints the coffee is very bold and strong...nope not here. I had the cowboy omelet, grits and pancakes. The omelet was fluffy and full of meat, the pancakes were light and nice hint of vanilla. The owner was on top of the growing Saturday morning line and the staff was very attentive, several different people came by to check on coffee!! Love this place!!!!!!

Would give them 10 stars if I could. Everytime we come in here we feel like we are at home. The owners treat you like family. The wait staff is very accommodating. The food is amazing. You can tell they only use the best ingredients. Not exaggerating when I say this, the best place to eat breakfast in the whole city. You have to try it. I hear they have a Frisco location as well, havent been there but Im sure its just as good.

Excellent food. We usually go on Saturday mornings.You may have to wait a bit, but it is worth it. I wish they had their pumpkin pancakes year around; they are scrumptious. Their regular pancakes are really good, but the pumpkin ones are a "10" plus. The owner, Meff, is trying to expand the place, but to do so would require the place on the right side to move down in the shopping strip.

Great small family owned breakfast and lunch joint! The owner is awesome, he must have checked on our table at least the time during our breakfast. Our waitress was amazing as well. Very friendly and ready to get whatever we needed with a smile. Food was delicious, my only issue was my hash browns were cold when I got them. I know they would have fixed them but I didnt say anything.

The food was definitely eggsellent! I ordered one of their amazing skillet breakfast meals with a side of the pumpkin pancakes and was blown away. My wife ordered one of the sandwiches which she loved as well. The only reason Im giving them 4 stars is because I feel a breakfast place should make espresso drinks rather than only having coffee. But no espresso to be found.

Everything Ive had from the menu has been great. From the skillets, omelettes, french toast, pancakes, and biscuits w/gravy. Its all delicious! Weve met the owner and her father (in law I believe) and theyve always been pleasant and willing to take a quick group photo when family visits from Chicago. My fav small business for brunch in the Carrollton/Castle Hill area.

Came here with my family for breakfast , always looked at it but never thought of coming in until today. The food , the service and enviornmemt all A1. I tried the steak skillet which was amazing all the ingredients were fresh and the steak was tender. I will be coming back soon to try other items in the menu ! Also dont forget to grab their hot sauce for home ...

I have been here twice since Meff and family sold the business. The menu is the same offering great options. Many of the wait staff is the same, friendly and efficient, the food is the same, tasty and well prepared. Even though I miss seeing Meff, I have to say the quality and service is just as good. Until that changes, I will continue to be a "regular ".

Always friendly. The older gentleman always comes outside to greet and visit with those of us waiting outside. Only suggestion would be to put more seating outside the door, add a few planters and a mister system when it gets really ot out. Foot is delucious, service is A#1 and they work well together. I like that feeling of harmony among coworkers.

Family owned and operated by the nicest family and they are always willing to support the community. The food is WICKED! Best coffee and the best breakfast anywhere. The biscuits and gravy omelet is sinful, their french toast is so good, and their scramblers are the bomb. The lunch and dinner options all look great too.

The service was great! It was busy but they got us seated pretty quickly. The eggs Benedict was pretty good but the French toast was delicious. I top it with fresh berries and syrup! Yum and I also ate some of my besties pancakes. They were awesome too! Highly recommended this place for breakfast

Best breakfast and lunch ever!!! Family and I have gone on several occasions and the food is amazing and the staff is excellent! Meff (the owner) is sweet and nice and very attentive. Words out on how great the food is that at times theres a 15-25 min wait but so worth the wait!!!

Great place to eat breakfast. The owner and his son run a top notch restaurant. Hope they bring one soon to Wylie. Food is fresh, staff is friendly and makes you feel at home and the coffee is good. My wife and I love getting to speak and converse with the owner each visit.

Ive eaten here four times, and each time the staff is friendly, the coffee is delicious, and the atmosphere inviting. And the owner could not be friendlier. Also, the food is delicious and reasonably priced. Almost hard to consider going elsewhere for breakfast now!

OMG! My husband and I just went there for breakfast for the first time. It truly is excellent! We cant wait to go again. The food portions are just right, makes you feel like youre eating healthy, but really good healthy food. Yum yum. We really enjoyed ourselves.
