We eat at Emelias about 3-4 times a month and we love what the menu has to offer. They have great breakfast items and probably some of the best quality street style tacos in the area. We considered Emelias for catering our graduation party that we were hosting...BEST DECISION EVER! Service/Price – The crew who runs Emelias are obviously pros when it comes to catering orders. They discussed all the details of the different food options (dishes with sides and toppings). You can place your order 2-3 days before your event which was helpful since we waited as long as possible for the straggling RSVP’s. We opted to just pick up the order and self-serve (saved a little money this way). We were blown away at how well everything was packaged...made setting up super easy. After shopping around for food, we realized that Emelia’s had VERY reasonable pricing. We definitely felt like we got our money’s worth! Food/Quality – Fresh and delicious! We ordered both fajita plates and street taco plates. The fajitas were so good. We decided to do combo fajitas. The meat was flavorful and tender. One thing we really like about Emelia’s is the quality of the tortilla’s they use. Flour tortillas were provided for fajitas and were VERY fresh. There were plenty of toppings…very impressed with the fajita plates. The street taco plates were equally delicious and quality was on point. We went brisket, chicken, and pastor. Our guests were very pleased with the lineup of tacos. Generous portions of onion and cilantro were provided. The tacos were definitely a huge hit. We got a ton of rice and beans! We ordered extra plates which in hindsight wasn’t necessary because the portions were very generous. Everything was hot and fresh as if you were dining in. Overall we were very pleased with our catering experience. We will definitely consider using them in the future and I highly recommend their food/service to anyone else that’s looking for a tasty tex-mex experience. It will be really hard to find something that beats what they have to offer and it pairs great with beers and margaritas!!!

Went here for lunch today, called to order tacos to go. During conversation on phone owner was asked how much would my order be for what I ordered, his response was 12 dollars however when I got there he rung order up he said16.50. I advise him I called prior and was told 12 dollars he said yes I said about 12 dollars. I said what do you mean 16.50 is no where near 12 bucks, if you are saying about 12 bucks thats indicating usually less than. Anyways he tried to argue it and say to me do you want it or not in aggressive tone. I decide to take but when it took him additional 8 mins to get order in back I declined bc of his temper and he would have a spit in my food. The owner is very unprofessional and not reasonable at all. Suppose I didnt have an extra 5 bucks. He lashed out and said dont come back after I explain that this was bad business. Needless to say very arrogant and I will not be back. Not once was I rude to him, simply tried to reason with him.

Discovered this place last saturday and it is off the chain. Breakfast tacos are amazing. I recommend bacon, egg, cheese & potato. Salsa is a bit spicy, I like it (the green is amazing), but it could turn some people off. Pricing is about average for the type of food, but you get way more flavor for your $$$ than at any chain restaurant. Service is quick considering that they arent cooking your food before you get there. Dont expect McDonalds speed because your food isnt already sitting under a heat lamp when you get there. But its still fast.

Was hoping to find a carne asada burrito comparable to anything found in southern California, but am sorely disappointed. Emilias burritos are stuffed with rice and beans, lettuce and tomatoes with hardly any meat. Their red salsa tastes like watered down ketchup with chili powder in it. The horchata is a sad disappointment as well. Its not authentic. Tastes like the kind walmart sells in a carton. I will not return. I will make the drive to Marianas in Frisco for now on.

Rice is excellent! The beans have a smoky robust flavor to it; not your traditional refried but still tasty. I ordered enchiladas verdes. I got what looked like cheese sauce, but I was brave and tried it. The flavor was good for the color not being green at all. I would try again. Just a little confused when I got my plate. Tip: I require something crispy to compliment my food. Chips and salsa are not complimentary, so be sure to order with your food.

I have eyeballed this place a hundred times. My husband and I went in today for the first time. Wow! We were missing out. Ive traveled all over this country and hit up Tex Mex, legit Mexican restaurants, taco stands, and trucks... I have never had better salsa or beef. Plus, Coke from Mexico! I am absolutely in love with this place. My husband agreed, this is our new religious experience! Amazing staff as well!

Always good and cheap and surprisingly fast, given their tiny operation. Its a small joint tucked into a small joint off Main St - if you blink, youre likely to miss it. The guy (I still havent gotten his name) who takes our orders is always very friendly. Its hardly gourmet fare, but Id favor Emelias over a place like El Fenix or El Chicos any day. Its hard to beat the combination of value, quality, and service.

After reading reviews, I was excited to get some great street tacos near home. I couldnt have been more disappointed. The tacos dont hold a candle to fuel city tacos nor do they compare in the least to T.B.D.(more expensive but definitely worth it!) I got brisket tacos and Don Lupes dip neither of which I could eat more than a couple of bites of. If these are the best street tacos youve tasted, you missing out.

I love their food, but beware and make sure you get what you order. They got my order wrong and I live in little Elm, and I ordered almost $30 worth of food to go. Almost a 25 min drive. 2nd time in a month. Emilias...Please have your cook check the order twice to make sure its right!!! Please!! There is nothing more frustrating than paying for food you dont want and in most instances dont like.

Asada, pork tacos are good. Best with the salsa verde or green sauce. My favorite is breakfast. Try the Migas. Corn tortillas with scrambled eggs. Comes with refried beans and home style fried potatoes. So as far as the real mexican food goes its good. Priced well. You can find better if you are willing to drive and spend the gas but these guys from San Louis Potosi are pretty good.

AMAZING breakfast tacos. I am super picky about breakfast tacos because there were several restaurants in my home town who really knew how to make them. This place definitely holds up. It is a hole in the wall but the staff is great, and the tacos are the best. I will eventually try this place out for lunch one day, but for now, I will always get breakfast tacos here.

Ive eaten here for breakfast more times than I can count - best breakfast tacos around. And the GREEN SAUCE is an addiction, my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Theyve also catered our companys breakfasts for the past 4/5 months and its always the favorite. Great staff, great service, great food! Ill go out of my way any day to eat here.
