First timer and WoW were we impressed! We had the #3 - Kahlua Pulled Pork on Sweet Roll with Chips and added a side of Pepper Jack Mac & Cheese and the #1 - Slow Smoked Brisket with Chips and added a side of Fried Pig Tails (Curly Fries). It was some of the best food ive had. High praise to the Chefs who came up with the recipes here! The Pork was tender and had just the right amount of Coleslaw as to not overpower the flavor of the Pork and the Pepper Jack Mac & Cheese was as you would expect - a smooth creamy delightful addition with just a hint of the Pepper Jack. The Brisket was smoked to perfection and tender. They use a unique seasoning on the Chips and Fries that is extremely addictive to say the least - it tastes like a mix of parmesan cheese and high grade salt, mixed with a hint of powdered ranch dip mix. Whatever it was, it was a treat and I dont believe I have ever experienced this exact flavor on chips or fries before! We sampled the BBQ sauce, although we did not add it to any of our food, as the food was perfect the way it was. The sauce was peppery and sweet. I really liked it, and did use it as a dip for a few fries and chips. All in all, I highly recommend stopping by when you have a chance and hope your experience was a great as mine. From now on, when I get a craving for some really good BBQ, we will be making the short drive out from SA.

Brisket - 4.5 stars Reg sausage - 3 stars Turkey - 4 stars Pepper jack mac & cheese - 3.75 stars Squash with greens - 3.75 stars Creamed corn - 4.25 stars The brisket was lean and yet still moist and tender. I favor moist brisket. My wife leans towards the lean side. We both agreed the brisket was excellent. They carry regular and jalepeño sausage. We opted for the regular, as my wife doesnt do spicy. The black pepper in the regular was so powerful the regular was too spicy for her. While not too spicy for me, the black pepper overpowered any flavor the sausage may have had. The turkey was very tasty, but not spectacular. My wife really liked the pepper jack mac and cheese. I thought it was ok. We both liked the squash with greens, but it would have been more enjoyable had it not been greens with very little squash. The creamed corn was another excellent dish. The prices werent expensive. My wife felt we got good value for the meal, I thought it was mildly overpriced on the quality vs quantity vs price scale. That said, I will definitely return. I think Ill try the brisket nachos next time. The looked fantastic.

My Husband & I decided to come here for our first time during restaurant week because you cant argue with $10/pp to try a new place. Upon ordering the cashier told us it was $38 & some change. When we disputed she said "weve been charging everyone $15" so we asked for her to bring it up to the manager that they are incorrectly charging us. We sat down & finished our lackluster meal before having to reach out to 2 other employees before a manager came over. We showed him the physical listing of the Culinaria website- it specifically states that HOW IT WORKS: Tier one restaurants lunch $15, dinner $35 and Tier two lunch $10, dinner $25. Texas Meat Company is clearly listed as a Tier two restaurant therefore overcharging us. The manager, who gave us no name, said it was what the owners wanted. So instead of trying to make it right he shrugged his shoulders & said oh well. We live in the area & will never support a business that is fine with being dishonest to its community.

This place was ok. The pork sandwich was good, it had a great bun, pork was tender, the coleslaw was fresh and crisp. The fried pickles were a hit with my teen daughter, they were the Spears vs the slices and came with celery sticks and a good ranch dressing. The chips served with the sandwich were a bit bland and had a little overdone taste to them. I order the corn on the cob and did not like it or eat after two bites. The rub on it tasted like burnt food. My husband had the Hawaiian pork on rice said it was OK. We did like the assortment of iced down drinks available in the metal troughs. They had a great Root Beer and Moonshine Mint and Honey Tea. The place looks great, there is a nice covered patio out front with tables. Ive lived in 2 towns with some of the top Texas Barbecue available so Im very familiar with it. Its not what you think of as a standard Texas Barbecue place and as long as you know that going in then its ok.

Absolutely delectable. We came in yesterday after I did some looking around online on where to eat in Boerne. Everything was wonderful. The brisket, turkey, the pepper jack mac n cheese and corn on the cob (both SO good) the cabbage slaw and tortillas. Staff were excellent and accommodating. How I wish I discovered Texas Meat Co. long ago. We will definitely be back. Thank you for blowing my expectations out of the water!

I love this place! I cant seem to get enough of it. The food is amazing, and its not a typical BBQ joint either. Its totally 100% unique with some awesome culinary flavors. I eat here at least twice each week. The staff are friendly, excited to be there, and I love the atmosphere. Its fun and inviting and Ive shared about this place to my co-workers. Not your typical BBQ joint, so much BETTER!

The food here is horrible!! They should take the word Texas off the sign or stop selling bar-b-q!!! The sandwich had a single slice of meat on it, the coleslaw tasted like pure vinegar and the potato salad was over dominated by some weird spice that too the rest of the day for me to get that awful taste out of my mouth. DONT GO HERE...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE,......YUCK!!!!! FOOD SUX!!!!!

Wow... Its common to find good brisket in Texas and this is another place to get good brisket. The pulled pork was a bit sweet for me but in a slider was just right. The reason this place really gets 5 starts if due to the smoked turkey believe it or not. Its awesome and super tender. I would come back to just eat turkey which says alot because I am a beef boy.

Over-priced and fairly bland. Had a brisket sandwich. Meat was tender but taste was a little off. Little hoagie roll overstuffed. More than half of the chips were inedible from over frying. Only had two bites of the dry flavorless corn on the cob. Atmosphere is nice and updated. Staff was attentive and friendly.

You need to eat here! I can literally still taste the Bar-B-Que. If your in the Boerne area do yourself a favor and grab a bite at Texas Meat Co. Disclaimer: I am not responsible for sleepiness or naps after consuming the delicious food offered at this establishment.
