Been going to this place for many years. Its great if you want a good, quick, relatively-inexpensive take-out or delivery item. Some of their items are good, some not so good. Biggest complaint is that they tend to skimp on spices. So food doesnt have as much flavor as at other Chinese places. But its good, fresh, and good portions. Their chicken and pork products are good. Beef tends to be fatty. Sweet & sour chicken is excellent! Large pieces of lean, white meat chicken, and huge portion. Their chicken fried rice pick-up special is awesome! $4 for a HUGE portion of fresh-made chicken fried rice. Also love their cho-cho beef (beef on a stick). They marinate it perfectly. Wonderful appetizer. Shrimp with lobster sauce is good; moo goo gain pain is good; moo-shu anything is good. LOVE their chicken chow mein and their lo mein. Cashew chicken: stay away from. Almost all cashews and celery with very little dark meat chicken, and no flavor. Their soups are usually good. Sometimes theyre off and have little flavor. Egg rolls are terrible. In general, if youre looking for good, fresh food at a good price that might not be as flavorful as at other places, but it still good, this is your place. Have been there for about 20 years already, so thats saying something.

DO NOT GO TO FRESH WOK! I called in for a delivery at 8:50 on Thursday night. I ordered 3 egg drop soups, 3 fried rice, won tons, sweet & sour chicken, orange chicken, and cashew chicken. The egg drop soup had the consistency of jello and tasted way too much of corn. The won tons were super stale and were very leathery. Instead of orange chicken I got sesame chicken that was cold in the middle. The cashew chicken barely had any meat in it. I didnt get my sweet and sour chicken, instead I got something else that I was not familiar with. I got 2 fried rice and 1 white rice. All of the rice was clumpy and the fried rice was bland and didnt have any peas, carrots, or egg in it. I would totally understand if one thing was wrong but not everything. Its like they gave us all of their leftovers. I have never had bad Chinese for before this and I am extremely disappointed. Later on I found out that they close at 9:30 because I tried to call but they didnt answer. The thing is, your customers can either make you or break you so you have to pretty much bend over backwards sometimes just to make sure people keep coming. I am going to go back in the morning to get my money back and let them know of our experience. I am never eating from this place again.

This was by far the worse experience of my eating Chinese food. I am not even exaggerating. I had gotten two chicken lo-mein , 2 sides of fried rice, and lemon chicken. Let me start off by saying lunch sized portions at best, but it is 6pm at dinner prices. The lightly battered breast of chicken that comes with lemon sauce was so bad, it was like an oversized and overdone McChicken patty. The sauce, yes, it was worse than the chicken. Not much on the lemon, more of the paint taste. Believe me when I say, NASTY !! Egg rolls, what egg rolls? More like spring rolls with a little carrot and cabbage. Now, here is the kicker, the manager that, did not care if I was satisfied or not, basically told me I was wrong about the size, taste, and portion. Funny because I have eaten their food off and on for 14 years!!

I love this place for a Chinese take out fix. Everything Ive had here is yummy. My favorite is probably the chicken chop suey..they have a good meat to veggie ratio and their portions are very generous, I can usually eat on one meal for 3 days. Most dinner entrees are less than 8 bucks and their lunch specials are less than 6. They give u an egg roll and fried rice with ur meal which I sub for lo mein noodle because thats my preference..they do this at no extra charge! Awesome! The guys that work there are very nice every time Ive been. I like to order and wait for my food because its fun to watch the chef prepare the food on the wok, with an open flame. U cant beat their portion sizes and prices though, go try this place its delicious!

Second time I ordered from Fresh Wok. The first time they messed up my order and forgot to give me any sweet and sour sauce with my chicken. I had to make my own from home. But I ordered again, thinking maybe the bad experience was an off day for them. Boy, did I just flush $30 down the drain. Second time, I ordered Sweet and sour chicken, with sides of fried rice. I got 2 boxes of plain white and 1 box of what appeared to be fried rice, but once I tried it...found out it was just white rice mixed a bit of soy sauce and had a chemical/bleachy taste. Egg rolls are questionable. Hot and Sour soup is runny and not spicy. Sweet and sour sauce....well, its all sour, no sweetness. Last time I throw away my money to these people.

I have loved Fresh Wok for decades. When I lived at home ai would order there as much as possible (as much as myself had $ to or convince my mom). That was in the late 90s. In 2005 I moved to Iowa with my brother. Fresh Wok has been a conversation piece since then. We have had chinese food for thousands of miles and nothing compares. I just got back to Texas and this was just the first place I could think of. It is still unbelievably great. Some might argue I have held it up on a plynth and therefore psychologically it must stay there for obvious reasons. My argument.....if you think that you have not eaten there Enjoy.....Leo

I placed my order and was told it would be delivered in 45-55 minutes. After an hour, I called to check and was told the driver had already left and I would have my order in 15 minutes. 20 minutes later, I called back and asked about my order again, the man who answered told me I would just have to wait and there was nothing he could do. He refused to let me speak to the manager. He refused to assist me in anyway. Grubhub had to refund my order and promised to have the business removed from their service because of numerous complaints. I sincerely hope they do.

Ive been eating takeout here for years. As far as Chinese takeout goes its not bad. Ive always gotten the shrimp fried rice and its always a pretty good lunch. Its definitely not the best but, its quick, cheap, and the portions are definitely enough for two. So if your wanting some quick Chinese takeout for lunch or a late dinner, this will get the job done. Just a forewarning this is a takeout only place. There is zero seating.

I dismissed the other reviews on here because Ive eaten Fresh Wok previously and it was good. Well I guess they changed owners or something because it really is bad now. The sesame chicken were big hunks of chicken and fatty skin that my husband couldnt eat and the chicken curry was a big container of vegetables with pieces of "chicken" that were mostly breaded pieces of skin as far as I could tell. Pick a different place.
