Absolutely awful. The sushi was the worst Ive ever had...and I once tried grocery store sushi out of curiosity. This place uses COCKTAIL SAUSE on the signature rolls! NEED I SAY MORE! Seriously, who does that!!? They obviously employ "chefs" who have no clue what theyre doing. Had the menu mentioned anything about slathering a number of their signature rolls with cocktail sause, I would of asked them to keep it off my plate. My soda had no carbonation and when I mentioned the funny taste to the waiter, he said, "oh yeah, we get a lot of complaints about our soda, Ill get you one from the bar". If they know its a problem, how about the manager fix the problem?!?! I felt bad for the waiter, I think he was the only one on staff. We were very nice to him but extremely disapointed. We were one of maybe 5 tables inside and it took the bar 15-20min to make our drinks...and we didnt order anything complicated. Most of the sushi rolls are premade and theyre disgusting (with or without cocktail sause). My friends roll came out 45min after everyone elses and when we asked to pay our bill, they used one of those old fashion cc swipers from the 80s and the poor waiter had to hand write/calculate each sushi roll plus tax and tally up the totals. It was ridiculous. Im shocked this place has more than 2 stars. I cant imagine that this place will be open much longer.

Hostess was great. Ordered to go. It took 30 minutes. I ordered 3 orders of yellow tail sashimi thinly sliced and a salmon bento box. The salmon tasted good. Just your standard bento box you can get at any sushi restaurant. But I asked for my sashimi thinly sliced. At most sushi places, you get one sometimes two thick slices of yellow tail. I liked mine thinly sliced. So for three orders of yellow tail sashimi, I received three thinly sliced yellow tail instead of six that I usually get. Its not the price because the sashimi was decent. The fat on the tuna was maybe a 5 out of ten. Not great but average. But the portions was horrible. I should have just asked for normally sliced sashimi. Ive never had three pieces given to me when I order three orders of thinly sliced yellow tail sashimi. Its like ordering a sixteen ounce filet mignon butterflied and only receiving eight ounces of it. Overall, the salmon was 6 out of ten. Yellow tail was a five. Service was okay but they were saved by good service from the hostess. Great atmosphere. But not A quality sushi.

Bad customer service!!! Maybe I should say no customer service instead. I went here once on a date. The hostess did her job and sat us so no complaints about that. Once seated, we waited and no one came to our table to serve us. The place was pretty empty. Besides us, there was another couple seated at another table who were already eating and one customer at the sushi bar so they were not busy at all. After waiting a few minutes, my date got up to go to the restroom. I sat there watching 4-5 waitresses laughing and talking to each other passing me up not once but several times. One even stopped to talk to the bartender. Several of the waitresses made eye contact with me but not once did any of them stop to ask me for something to drink. My date came back and still nothing. I got up and made it known to the manager that I was very upset. She offered me a free dish but I turned her down. I told her I am not complaining to get something free and that all I wanted was some damn service!!!

We go fairly often to the one in Flower Mound and it is always great and always looks good. This one in Arlington is drab and looks old, the table wasnt level and rocked back and forth and the place looks dirty. The Sushi rolls are very small but good. We had to send our meals back as they were way over cooked. I picked up our plates to take it to the kitchen as the waiter was too busy talking at the bar. The manager did have them remade and it was very good. The waiter was nice enough but should not be waiting tables as he has no urgency in the least. Crazy us we wanted our drinks with our food and he thought we should have them when we were half through. My beer was cool but not cold. He never checked on us one time. I think when I spend over $100. On lunch things should have been a lot better. I can not recommend the Arlington location at all and will never go again mainly because of service, cleanliness and atmosphere. The Flower Mound location is great!

The name says it all. Killer sushi was just about what happened during my trip to this restaurant. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES. I took my 11 year old niece to eat there for her birthday. After telling the waitress about her peanut allergy, things were seeming to go well. Until the food arrived, however, when things took a scary turn. The chef had placed the safe items less than a half an inch from the "peanut contaminated" food and on the same plate no less. When we inquired about it, we were told that the soy sauce (which she had already eaten) contained peanut butter (which it didnt). My sweet niece was still trembling 2 hours later. We stood up to leave, but our potential trip to the ER was held up so we could pay for our appetizers and drinks! Kid you not. And they acted like they were doing us a favor by comping the food.

Went on a Monday night. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant. The service was horrendous. We were seated and sat for 10 minutes waiting to be served. Waited over 10 minutes for a drink refill. The waiter let our sushi rolls sit on the sushi bar for 8 minutes so they were room temperature when we finally got them. Sushi Rolls were mediocre at best. Do not go here! Even if you were to get the perfect sushi roll, the service would make the experience horrible. My Recommendation: Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck atop reunion tower. Their sushi is esquisite and only a couple of dollars more expensive. Their service is superb. And no reservation required for their lounge. They have the absolute best sushi I have ever had. Much Much better than Piranhas

As stated in my earlier review on Yelp, nothing but disappointment here, other than my wife and our friends good company. We arrived, and our friends had ordered drinks 10 minutes earlier, which they did not yet have. We did not see a waiter for at least 10 minutes, and then ordered drinks that took at least 10 minutes to arrive. There is no sense of urgency among the wait staff. The service was haphazard and clueless. The food was only average. I am offended that four people were billed $150 for basically no service and a few items of sushi. This is the kind of restaurant that I hope will soon go out of business because it is fooling people into thinking this is an acceptable dining experience. Die, restaurant, die.

We are sushi fans. Classic original sushi/sashimi fans. This place is not classic sushi and we were quite disappointed. Its more fusion sushi with ingredients like asparagus and chunks of white onion in the rolls. The combination might work for someone else but it just left me with a lighter wallet and ruined pallet. While the decor had a very hip modern feel and is quite beautiful, the service was nearly nonexistent. We sat at the bar because I like to have the sushi chefs recommendations and conversation, but the bar is more of a display area where youre discouraged from, "interacting with the performers". Will not be going back.
