The Taverns menu and ambiance are a step up from other local restaurants. Their menu options are new and refreshing, especially for healthy diet conscious patrons. The chef frequently offers new, delicious, trendy items to their menu, and at the bar has developed new twists on traditional cocktails. As Spanish wine enthusiasts, the owners added Spanish wine to their wine list as a result of our preference. The Tavern is the best place in town for upscale food in a casual atmosphere where one can enjoy live local music or book a party room beautifully decorated for your occasion.

The food was excellent. Our server Gigi was very friendly. The music was enjoyable. I would highly recommend the carved tenderloin and/or the pecan crusted chicken, which was what we ordered-excellently prepared. We also had the French onion soup, which was delicious. Many thanks for the wonderful meal and hospitality!

Ive been in Bandera almost 5 years and Ive never found an excellent place to eat until tonight. The steak was delicious and the service was perfect. We just ate at Ruths Chris in San Antonio two days ago and it was triple the price and not nearly as good. Woo hoo! So glad we stopped in!

Fantastic food. Wonderful dinner menu as well as Brick Oven style pizzas, full bar, nice selection of wines. Extra room for parties. Live music almost every day theyre open. Love love love this place.
