Do yourself a big favor when you stop in Kearney and drive a mile and a half towards downtown and go to this little hidden gem. An amazing selection of seasonal and always-available beers. The whiskey barrel aged imperial stout is awesome. Flights are $7.50 for 5 beers and their always available brews are available in canned six-packs. They have at least 15-20 beers to pick from so the odds of finding something you like is pretty good. For munchies, we had the Thunderpie Pizza. A spicy, chicken pizza with a good jalapeno kick.

I moved to Kearney about a year ago. This place is ok. As stated the service is pretty horrible every time I go there. Beer is good. They also make this drink that tastes like grape (forgot the name of it). Its pretty good and gets you drunk fast. Food is par to sub-par. Being from out of state I can understand how people from Nebraska would think the service is good. Service at most restaurants and pubs here is pretty horrid compared to what Im used too in most other parts of the country.

Absolutely the best pizza in Nebraska. Thunder pie is amazing. All pizzas are very well done! Beers are some of the best you will find. Outstanding dark wheat n cocoa porter. Homemade pretzels and foccassia breads are worth it alone. I must admit however service is painfully slow. I would spend 3x as much on beers and apps if i thought id ever see them. But i guess some things are worth the bad service to eat. I highly recommend this place! There is none better!

The pizza was extremely small and $19. It was so soggy when you picked it up all the toppings slid off and all but the crust slumped over. The beers sound good but after trying about 6 I gave up and stuck to water. The pretzel was hard but okay and the spicy mustard that came with it was amazing. Our waiter was nice and checked on us frequently. I would not recommend this place to anyone and definitely wont be returning.

While the food is decent, the service is terrible. Importantly, when your glass is empty, dont expect to see a member of the wait staff before you leave. In fact, you dont even get a ticket brought to you, you must go to the register and wait until you are recognized. I wish the poor service could at least be attributed to the business flow, but busy or slow, the bad service remains the same.

Both the imperial Stout and IPA were good. Im impressed. Ill have to come back and try some of the others. Nice atmosphere and it looks like they have a decent and reasonably priced menu. Also - coasters! (I collect microbrewery coasters) Ive been back a couple more times. This place has some seriously good beers. Havent tried a bad one yet. The Peach Wheat is great, as is the Honey Wheat.

This is the perfect place for good beer and good company. This isnt the place for rowdy youth and loud music. Thats what I love about it. The clientele are an eclectic bunch, but theyre respectful of each other. The food is a little meh, but we go there for the beer and the atmosphere, not so much the food. Although the artichoke dip is to die for! Their calzones are also really yummy.

I stopped here on a road trip with my husband. The pizza was really good but I was blown away by the beer. There were tons of options and the three that my husband and I collectively tried were all very good. Its too bad we live in another state, but if our travels take us back this way again, I will certainly return.

I give this place a 5 on their beer alone! Was on a road trip and wanted to stop as Im a brewery fanatic. Im glad I did! Hope someday I can come back with friends and try the food. Pro tip: try the Imperial Stout. Dont think about it just do it!

Great bar to go with friends if you want a slice to eat and or just meet catch up and talk. Down to earth environment and relaxing. Amazing brews to drink, something for all beer lovers to try and thunder punch for those who dont like beer!

Ive been living in the area for 2 weeks and have been here four times already. Needless to say, the beer is fantastic! They have $3.50 mugs on Fridays, which is a great deal. The staff is always friendly and they have fast service.

Nice pub with friendly staff and good beer. 1st encounter with food was less than desired. Philly sandwich had somewhat toasted hoagie with warm "roast beef" and cold provolone/veggies on top. Will be back to try more tho...

A great small town brewery. They sell their cans across the state, but here you can tap the source. Youll also have access to the smaller batch seasonal and 1-offs that can only be tasted here. And the pizza isnt bad either!

The best brewery in the state. You have to go to the brewery to get some of there best offerings i.e. Tiny Tim and grand cru. The wood fire oven is always ready to churn out tasty pizzas and sandwiches.

My new favorite brewery. My wife and I shared and excellent plate of nachos for lunch. I had the jalapeño ale and the smoked IPA. Both delicious! Taking home a 12-pack assortment. Well be back.

The Russian Imperial stout is so smooth and delicious. Really nice Scottish Ale also, not too heavy with the malts. Would have liked to try the pizza. Will definitely come back!

Had a beer flight and a half thunder pie half chicken spinach Alfredo pizza. Wife had a thunder punch as she is driving. Our waiter was awesome. Food and beer was very good.
