Went with another couple on 01/20/17 for dinner. Waitress wrote all four of our orders on one ticket. At the end of our meal, we waited and waited for our separate tickets. Waitress continued working around us even though it was obvious we were long finished with our meal and needed our ticket. We eventually made our way to the front register to pay. The guy at the register tore our ticket out of the waitresses ticket book and asked us what we had so we could pay for our portion. We told him which meals were ours and that we had 2 waters. We emphasized "nothing else". He charged us for the 2 meals AND a margarita which our friends had ordered. I kept telling my husband our charge seemed too high for what we had. After about 3 rounds of discussion, I finally asked the guy what he had charged us for. He said 2 meals and a drink. I reiterated to him that we said NOTHING about a drink when he asked what we had. With an obvious attitude, he credited the amount back to our credit card and started over. Our bill was $17.30. My husband left a $4.00 tip, making our total bill $21.30. HOWEVER, today I was reconciling our credit card statement and noticed that an ADDITIONAL $3.00 was charged to our credit card, making the tip total $7.00! I have our receipt to prove otherwise! The food was... OK, but Im concerned there could be some funny business going on there. Will NOT go back, especially when someone feels it is OK to take someones money in such a back-handed way. I NEVER write reviews such as this, but felt it necessary in this particular instance. BE FORWARNED and CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT if using your credit card to pay for your meal here.

This is my 3rd time ordering food to go. The first 2 times, I ordered shredded chicken. Sure enough, when I got home, it wasnt shredded chicken. Not to mention, the cheese was hard. It showed that they dont care. This time, 30 minutes ago, I ordered chicken street tacos. All fine and dandy until I come home and there is more peppers and onion and tortilla than meat. Really?!?! What did I pay for?! I would go in and eat, but the waitresss take forever to do the simplest task. By the way, street tacos come with lime and salt. Which I didnt receive. Ill never be back.

Im normally not very picky but I could not enjoy my food. My enchiladas were flat, dry and the cheese was very tough to the point where I was scared I was going to choke. The meats are of poor quality, my daughter left her entire taco because it was all nerves, my husbands tampiqena had a tough little cheap cut of meat that he couldnt finish. I normally dont like giving bad reviews and I apologize to the owners

Food is 5 stars. The carnitas were delicious. However, the service started off as a 4 but then we never saw our waitress again and I had to get up and get more water, order my beer, ask for a takeout box and order more tortillas. The kitchen area needs some TLC - lots of food debris on the floor. I would return though.

Great place. Some of the best tortillas weve had both corn and flour. Were from Houston and eat a lot of Mexican food and this has been one of the best. Nice local kind of atmosphere. Saw more locals in there eating than anything and thats a good indicator on where to eat. Parking was not too bad just packed.

I have never ever seen any roaches and i have seen it dirty. And the food is all ways good. we go there all the time. It does have a small parking lot . And it is all ways packed. So if there was roches every where i know i would not go there for sure. And if it was dirty i would not go there.i am very picky

Its hit and miss here. Sometimes good and others not so much. Take out takes forever and usually are missing stuff. Sometimes enchiladas have sauce, sometimes not. Usually clean though and never seen a roach. We only come here every few months. Wed go somewhere else but its more about convenience.

Pretty good food & the service, well when you ask for anything it will be done, but as far as taking care of anything before you run out of salsa or tea, that kinda service was nonexistent. But, on the bright side, the server would do things when you ask!

Filthy! I dont know how anyone can even think about eating here! Roaches crawling on the walls in the dining room, food crumbs an 1" thick under the tables (probably why the roaches are so happy) NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! You have been warned!

I wonder if I had told my waitress that it was our first time here, if it would have made a difference. Probably not. The food was OK. The service was less than adequate. The place is dirty. We wont come back.

The worst authentic Mexican food Ive ever tasted service was good at first but then dismissed us after we ate. Parking is terrible for RVs would not go there again. The only thing right the darn with the chips .

Had the Enchilada Bandera for dinner and it was very good. Reminded me more of traditional Mexican cuisine than Tex-Mex which is nice considering it is difficult to find such fare in the Metroplex.

I have only ever eaten breakfast here..but they do have the best breakfast tacos in town. Not greasy and the service was outstanding. and the red sauce!!!! wooo hooo!!!
