First of all, CASH ONLY!!! (They have an AMT machine by the cashier) They have parking lots in front of the building as well as the side and back of, but because of the popularity, their parking lots tend to be full and I saw people parking on the side of the roads (in front of some peoples houses). Went there on one Saturday morning after 9. I heard there is usually some wait. We (2 people) were seated less than 5 min. Service was pretty awesome and very attentive, and according to their sign, all waitresses/waiters serve all customers and they split the tips, so you can ask for any help to any staff. Their coffee wasnt the greatest and it was more like the dinner coffee. They had milk and powdered cream on the table but didnt carry any Half & Half. Their Omelet "CHILICONQUESO" had lots of cheese inside and on top of, but wasnt bad -- probably wouldnt order again, though. Every bite had some chili spiciness. Buttermilk pancakes that came with the dish was delicious! Would love to eat their pancakes again. Their Breakfast "Our Economical" was very tasty. Bacon was thin but flat and crispy. Yum! I felt their home fries could use a bit more seasoning (like Italian Seasoning or parsley) but was good. Wheat toast was pretty good,

We have now tried this place three times, and that will be the last time we ever go here. It is local and always has a line which seems to promise some worthwhile experience. I honestly dont know why people continue to go here. At least a 25 minute wait on the weekends if you go between 7am and noon. Cash only with a rip-off atm at the front in case you mistakenly think that all restaurants are functioning in this century. The food is decent breakfast fare for decent prices, but nothing you couldnt make at home with 15 minutes of effort. This last trip we were seated after a 30 minute wait, given coffee and left for another 15 minutes without a waiter coming to our table, waiters with crappy attitudes did visit tables that had been seated after us. Finally we just left because hunger pains had set in.

An Austin Icon that delivers! Ive lived blocks away for a couple years but didnt try it until my mom suggested it while visiting. I had the House Special Omelette with while wheat pancakes. The peppers and onions were perfectly caramelized, the ham was tasty and the eggs were very fluffy. The pancakes tasted great, too. They were a bit fragile, but I expected that since they were whole wheat. Its fun to read the back story on how this place, Kerbey Lane and Magnolia Café all got their start--together. Like I told my mom, some of Austins best restaurants result from divorce (Dans and Frans fit the category). I wish the father/son duo and the entire staff the best luck on Airport Blvd. Ill be a regular!!!

Ive never heard of Omelettry until I came here for brunch with a group of friends. Based on the restaurants name, I knew I had to order an omelette. I ordered the Popeyes Favorite which was delicious. I loved the sour cream on top which made the omelette have a creamy texture. I got the omelette with the gingerbread pancakes. The pancakes are unique in flavor, but I think Im more of a normal buttermilk pancake kind of guy. I think $10 for an omelette and two pancakes is a little pricey, but the portion size is definitely worth the money. There is parking at the side and back of the restaurant. This place is CASH only...and you pay up front after you dine.

I went here while traveling for work, it was over a weekend so I was looking for a good breakfast place that was local to Ausin. We decided on the omlettry, and it wasnt bad, really, but we were expecting much more. It is an old school diner, accepted cash only, which is just annoying in thie day and age, unless you are getting something really special. We didnt feel we got that, especially from the gingerbread pancakes, which looked and tasted like something you make at home when you dont know what you are doing. They were flat, and just kinda bland. So while the food was fine, Id rather just go to a place that offers decent food with a better atmosphere.

Fantastic vintage-feeling breakfast and brunch spot! I easily recommend this over the over-hyped Kerbey Lane. The Omelettry has a great menu, and portions are awesome, you definitely get your moneys worth of food. They have vegetarian and gluten-free options, so anyone can enjoy something here. Service is fast and the staff is nice. I ordered a cheese omelette, and it came with 2 pancakes (all for under $10!), everything tasted great. My friend got their baked potato, and it was HUGE, and she seemed to really enjoy it (it was also only like $3.95!). I cant recommend this place enough, especially if youre looking for budget-friendly eating places in Austin!

Since Omelette is in the name of the restaurant I figured I would get an omelette for my first time here. I ordered the Spanish Omelette which is an egg omelette with cheese inside and a salsa on top along with home fries and fresh fruit. The salsa on top was more like diced tomatoes from a can with some jalapenos in it. I didnt really like it that much. The home fries and the watermelon were good, and I was able to try my fiances pancakes which were really good. Overall, this place was just okay in my opinion. Kinda small and there was a pretty decent wait (about 30 minutes) when we got there that look like it lasted to when we left.

Came here on a weekday so the wait wasnt too bad. We got the omelettes (as one does when a place is named "The Omelettry") Great selection of omelettes! Loved how you can also get pancakes with it as a set. The gingerbread pancakes were SO GOOD. Ive had gingerbread pancakes at other cafes around Austin but the ones here remain my favourite. The service was amazing as well. We were waiting for our food, then when our food comes, the server tells us that it is on the house because the order fell off the rack and onto the floor so the food came out a bit late but we didnt even realise that it was slow! Great place for breakfast!

While staying at a local AirBnB down the street, we stopped into The Omelettry on a Saturday morning. There was a bit of a wait, so we opted to order to-go. The service was super friendly, and we got offered some water while we waited. It took about 15 minutes or so, and we were out with our food. I got the Popeye with home fries and fruit; the girlfriend got the bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado sandwich and fruit. The omelette was stuffed and I saved half for the next day, but the home fries were a little overcrisp. The BLAT was piled high as well. Overall, a great quick breakfast for less than $20.

Came in for breakfast. The wait staff was rude and uninterested the entire time. The bacon was so thin and flavorless that it felt like eating fried paper. They also somehow managed to screw up toast, which came out soggy and flavorless. The eggs were done well, but that was the only good part of the meal, seeing as how even the homefrys were burnt. For the prices they charge, youd think they would have some quality ingredients, but everything seemed like it belonged in a cheap all you can eat buffet. An extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.
