The wife and I finally stopped here after going to the outlets.. Weve passed this place so many times over the years and now were wishing we hadnt. When you walk inside, theres a little bakery set up with all kinds of cookies, cinnamon rolls, kolaches, etc.. When we left, we grabbed a skillet cookie which had white chocolate, caramel, toffee, and salt sprinkled on top.. The cookie was huge and it was probably the best cookie Ive ever had, top 3 easily. Then you go through a little boutique (think Cracker Barrel) and then its the restaurant. The atmosphere was very open and it was pretty cool and breezy throughout. My wife got the stuffed avocados and she loved it. The chicken salad was fresh and had pieces of apples and grapes in it. The bread it came with was amazing too. We were told all their bread, except for the wheat, is homemade. I got the 1/2 lb bacon cheeseburger and it was pretty good. Not greasy at all and pretty big. The fries it came with were ok. We got a side of onion rings and it came with this jalapeno ranch type sauce that tasted great. Well definitely be back the next time were around. Price wise, its about the same as other places. All of our food was about $24 with waters to drink. The cookie was $3.24 but totally worth it.

We used to love this place. We would tell anyone who asked that Centerpoint served the best burgers and fries around. We would drive all the way from San Antonio at least once a month to eat here as treat. However, we just ate there a few days ago and the quality of food went from is usually incredible to downright disappointing. They still had cheery staff, good bread and fries but inside the burger was what tasted like a recently frozen patty reminiscent of mcdonalds dollar menu. The serving size was smaller on both the regular and lady burgers. When we asked out server about the diminished quality she responded a few other people had commented as well but they had a new cook and maybe it was the spices. She was very sweet but from what we tasted the spices had nothing to do with it. The only thing we can guess is that this place used to sell freshly made quality burgers but now because of the demands and long lines they have switched to frozen patties and sup-par burgers. We were very disappointed and I emailed the store but got no reply. Maybe that meal was a fluke and they will return to their previous high standards but Im not sure we will try it again to find out.

I really wanted to like this place but I just didnt, it wasnt what I was expecting. Dont get me wrong I love the old time feeling nostalgia but I just couldnt get past how small and crowded it was. This is a restaurant/gift shop like place, think Cracker Barrel except really small. Hubby had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. He said the chicken fried steak tasted old and like it came out of a freezer. I happen to agree, it just didnt have a good crunch to it and it tasted stale and bland. Potatoes looked dried and ugly. I had the jalapeno cheese burger. My meal was very good. The French fries were old and soggy tasting but my burger was nicely cooked and had a nice flavor. The people were nice. Overall its a sweet little place from the outside. We went when we thought it wouldnt be crowded but oh boy was it. Hard to find a seat. Im claustrophobic so small places arent my thing. I wanted to check out more areas but I just couldnt be uncomfortable any longer. Will I go back? Probably not. Although I wanted to try a root beer float. Stop in at your own discretion it might be too crowded, but if you like places like this go for it.

I was passing through San Marcos and my daughter got hungry. We stopped at this Centerpoint Station. We had never been here. We walked in and looked for the restaurant to place a to go order. Walked up to the cashier and asked if I can place my order. She rudely said that next time I have to place my to go order at that he Bakery, but shed take my order anyways. We walked around and I hear my name on the PA and got my food. Then my husband called and asked if I can bring him lunch as well. So I go to the Bakery and place another order. We continue to walk around and then again I hear my name for my second order. Im holding the to go bag from my first order and the same rude girl asked me if I understood that my name was being called to get my order! So I told her sarcastically holding up the to go bag, "Yes, I had to order another burger!" I will never ever go back to this place again even though the burger was good. I would not have gave a star but had to post my review. Shamefully place.

This place has decent food, but when you have thousands of other places to choose a decent burger, I wouldnt bother. Today we thought "lets go have a burger at Centerpoint." Horrible deceision, you walk in and not greeted, you wait in a line and only to get to the cashier and no customer service. The cashier thought he knew it all, was short in answering questions and because of that over charged a $2.29 drink. Please the outward appearance is cute, but when you have a choice of where to eat. Do not choose this place. Trust me we still have people who respect that people work hard for their money and will provide decent food and great customer service. If I could give half star I wouldve, but it did not allow. Honestly though after thinking about it. They do deserve the star because food is decent.

Small place old fashion with a Soda Fountain, Fudge and Fresh Scooped Icecream. If you like a little heat try there Jalapeño Cheese Burger with HOMEMADE Jalapeño bun.....OMG......the best. Any time the family is driving through the area this is where we come. Be sure and take home one of there fresh in house made Cinnamon Rolls Loafs or Loafs of Bread. Try it out you wont be disappointed. *****WARNING...... During heavy shopping times this place gets VERY BUSY.....so make sure you have the time.

They offer some old fashioned options and the place is really rustic. The service was pretty quick, but it really wasnt busy. However, they forgot to add some bacon on my order and my wife they forgot to add some jalapenos. I also forgot to mention what kind of bread I wanted but when I was ordering I wasnt asked, so I feel like the entire staff really doesnt know what they are doing or are probably new staff. Overall, we got something to eat but I probably wont be going back.

The place has a homey feel with a mixture of burgers and such. My wife enjoyed the burgers, my kids enjoyed the chicken strips and corn dogs, and I enjoyed the grilled chicken wrap. We split one of the smaller cinnamon rolls as well. With the gift shop, think of it as a more rustic Cracker Barrel focused on lunch rather than breakfast. I should say they do have breakfast three days a week, but we did not het a chance to try it.
