Heard about this little Mexican restaurant through some friends and after reading all the reviews I wanted to try for myself. Since Im a foodie and enjoy blogging my experiences. Google maps will take you directly to this establishment. Its kinda hidden from the main roads within a small center. Very neat Mexican restaurant with a small diner feel, clean, tables not over-crowded and you feel welcomed. I observed the different plates from breakfast to lunch and everything looked top notch, delicious and well prepared. My mouth was watering just waiting. Lol I ordered the Green Chile Enchiladas with rice and pinto beans. I wanted them with the sauce on the side so my waitress brought out the green sauce, red chile sauce and the mild sauce like pico. Man oh man i used all the sauce and it was amazing. Very impressive, cleaned my plate like momma used to say. Only regrets is not ordering another plate. Lol

This was the absolute best breakfast. As if we needed to eat more food the morning after Thanksgiving, but it is a tradition for our family to go out for breakfast/brunch on Friday before we all head back home. We were tired of the regular chain restaurants that make you wait for an hour and the food is just so so. We searched and found this place with all of your amazing reviews, and the fact that this was a regular spot for our Norman family sold us. And it did not disappoint. I had the tamales and eggs. OMG! I could eat that every day. We did have a bit of a wait still, but it was so worth it. Get here!

Not. Good. The feel of the restaurant is New Mexican which I liked and one of the salsas we tried had that flavor. You have to order the salsa and chips as an appetizer, but it comes in tiny bowls...and there was never an offer for a refill. The enchilada tasted like I could have made it at home. The eggs tasted like very cheap eggs-almost like powdered eggs. The kids meal my kids split like they always do, and both left hungry (which is unusual). Very little flavor in the food. Could have been great but just...wasnt.

If you go on a weekend theres gonna be a line. Theres a reason for that. And, yes, its worth the wait. If there is any of the special left then you cant miss with that. If you order off the menu then a fine breakfast choice is the tamales and eggs (but have them add the house-made chorizo -- oh yeah). Also the chorito is first rate. And not everyone realizes this -- but the namesake and cook (who is amazing to watch in the open kitchen, btw) makes some of the best flapjacks anywhere. Dont miss those.

Went there this past sunday and have to say that the wait was long but NO DOUBT WORTH EVERY SECOND! Food was amazing and highly recommend the Chorizo Omelette! Service was friendly and efficient and everyone in there was smiling and eye balling all the wonderful dishes that were being served. Will be back and have passed along my experience there to everyone who loves great food! Thanks Juan Del Fuego Mexi Diner :)

I get the same thing everytime I come which is the enchiladas and a side of chorizo and eggs which are both very good. My wife likes to try new things and hasnt been disappointed yet. Their coffee tastes fresh and they are always friendly. There is usually a wait time which is to be expected in a small space but the wait has always been worth it for me and my family.

One of the really good ones, a one-of-a-kind breakfast specialty place with a Santa Fe flavor. My wife and I share an off-the-menu item — a Santa Fe omelet with the really flavorful Fuego potatoes, with your choice of bread. All of the staff are friendly and give great service. The place is usually crowded so expect a wait time for a table. Love this place!

The tamales at JDF burst with TexMex flavor--spiced and filled to perfection. At Juans youll find great food, service, and parking (and coffees great, too!). Sit at the bar once in a while. Fun to watch Elaine, Juan, Olivia and the whole crew do their magic. Thanks, JDF!!

This place is delicious. My office orders lunch (tamales and eggs) here almost weekly. The only issue Ive had is that they never give you much sauce. I always order extra sauce, but they only give you maybe two tablespoons worth.

The food is tasty. Is more of Mexican-American food using cheddar cheese for enchiladas and flour tortilla for the huevos rancheros food is served in a timely manner which is great. I recomend the house potatoes.

Food is fresh and tastes great. Almost always a wait on the weekend, so not much different than any other place that has breakfast on the weekend. The recipes are have been perfected over a long time.

This has become my favorite breakfast in Norman! The tamales and eggs with green salsa is one of my all-time most-enjoyed breakfasts. I actually had it for lunch again today and it was as good as ever.

Food is great if you know what you want or know that you can seat yourself when you walk in. Upon my first visit I did not know both and was treated as if I ordered spaghetti and meatballs.

As close to New Mexico food in Oklahoma you will get. Tamales with eggs and the fuego fries is always good. Get it Christmas tree style and you cant go wrong.

A beef quesadilla with ground beef? I didnt feel really excited by the breakfast oriented menu here. Id think id rather go to a regular taco stand.

People are just ga-ga about this place, but its just another Mexican Diner. The food is fine, but nothing you cant get at other places like it.

One of our favorite places to go for breakfast, except on Monday when they are closed. The lines are always worth the wait!

Not your typical Tex-Mex cuisine. The burritos were more than just beans and meat with potatoes and unique spices.

When I go here I really like to get the enchiladas and eggs. The red sauce on top with an egg yolk is awesome.
