My experience with the bakery was mostly professional. I cant complain about the service. However, my experience with my cake is another story. I had purchased a cake total price was $150. It was a small wedding so a two-tier cake was what was needed. I had asked for lavender rosettes to be the design for the bottom layer cake. This was what was seen as I purchased the cake. I picked up the cake Thursday and was refrigerated overnight for a 9:30 am Friday morning wedding. After one hour of being out of the refrigerator the rosettes turned bluish green in color. The cake looked like it was moldy. I was mortified. Their are no pictures of the cake as it looked awful. This is not what I had pictured on my wedding day. I contacted the bakery with photos of the cake and no refund was given. They offered to make me another cake but that is the last thing I wanted at this point. They should have fully refunded my money due to my disappointment. I just want other brides to know that this can happen to you to on your special day. Be sure you ask about their policy as they told me they were not responsible for the cake once it leaves the bakery. And even told me it could be from leaving a light on in a refrigerator. Be thorough in your consultation and ask these questions. I have photos available for anyone who wants to see what happened. Not an ideal wedding day :(

Ive read good reviews on the sweets at this shop so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a cake from the online ordering system but never received a confirmation e-mail as mentioned on the store site, phone call or any indication that Id ordered a cake at all. Maybe it doesnt work or they are horrible at returning and reading their e-mails. So I decided to try again by visiting yesterday and although I ordered a cakeball and a cupcake; I barely got a head nod from anyone who works there. No hello, no goodbye, no thank you or come back and see us. The cashier was on her cellphone as she rung me up. The customer service was fair/poor as I was barely acknowledged by one of the sales people and totally ignored by the other. It was a pretty cold and unpleasant experience; like I was interrupting their day by showing up. The birthday flavored cupcake was a 7 on a scale of 1-10 and so was the lemon cakeball I bought. I wont try this bakery again.

This place is a joke! I called for a custom cupcake order and the lady over the phone kept placing me on hold to confirm if they could complete my order. A simple request at that.. I wanted cupcakes arranged to spell out "Ali" and the dot on the i to be in a shape of a star with purple frosting and the rest of the cupcakes to be cream cheese frosting. Her initial response to my request was, "you can order the cupcakes and you can arrange them to spell out what you want." Ummm no...thats why i called for a custom order! Then she proceeds to tell me that shes not sure if they can change the frosting color for only a few of the cupcakes but wants to charge me $48/dozen for custom cupcakes. I refuse to pay close to $100 for cupcakes when my request is not be fulfilled to my liking. Thank you Sugar Bee Sweets for refusing my custom order.

Something to always keep in mind when reading reviews is that everyone just expects great service and rarely takes the time to leave a positive review when everything goes as expected but unfortunately its human nature to go out of our way to complain. This bakery has been responsible for several wonderful delights that Ive had the pleasure of enjoying. They are now the chosen bakery for our daughters wedding cake. I know that everything will be wonderful as always and the fact that we chose them for our daughters best day ever speaks volumes!! With all of the other things that we have to worry about for/on her wedding day, we can rest assured that the wedding cakes will be fabulous!!

They are always booked for cakes so that tells you how good they must be! I finally was able to get them to do a cake for me. It was for baby babyshower/ gender reveal. They did an AMAZING job! My cake came put EXACTLY how I asked! Not only did it look beautiful, it tasted really good too! Everyone liked it and wanted to know where it came from. They are SO good and precise with cake designs. Hats off to the decorator. Theyre out bakery from now on. They have other delicious treats too, the cookies are delish and they have a ton of cupcake flavors.

I bought a wedding cake for my stepdaughters wedding which was yesterday. The cakes were beautiful, the cakes did not taste like the samples, they were dry and not tasteful. I hate to see cake slices left on tables as that indicates the guests did not like the cake. Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery cakes are too expensive and you would expect cake to be delicious. Very disappointment, very disappointment. I would expect consistancy and the cakes should have been delicious.

So upset about my cake I picked up it is my husbands 30th I paid a lot of money for a golf cake and its way off from what we discussed its extremely plain and looks like a green blob I showed pictures of what I wanted and looks nothing like it I am now having to fix it myself and add to it! I had such I expectations for this cake and was very excited about it to only end up in tears

Im obsessed with this place. I had my wedding cake done by them and my husband had them make me a Harry Potter graduation cake. The detailed work they put into the cakes were magnificent. They also taste fantastic!!! I also try to come here every few months to treat my friends and myself to cake pops and cupcakes that they have already made and ready to take home.

We used Sugar Bee Sweets for our wedding cake. I had many of our guests come up to me and say it was the best cake they have ever had at a wedding. Even my photographer (who has been at many wedding) said this as well. The staff is really nice and helpful as well. The cake was not only delicious but just the way I wanted it to look.

I ordered some VERY last minute cakeballs for a New Years birthday party. Im assuming I spoke to the owner of the shop and she was very accommodating, considering I gave her a two day notice. Thank you for your help! The cakeballs were very delicious. My son has his first birthday coming up and I will be ordering from you soon.

I bought a uniquely designed bday cake from here two years ago. They did a fantastic job! It was a sheet cake divided into 4 sections and each section was decorated completed differently from the others representing each of my 4 friends with bdays in October... Im ordering another one for a different friend this week!

Always the best service, everyone who works there is helpful and has lots of great suggestions if you need them...best of all the cakes are totally gorgeous without fail and absolutely DELICIOUS! Be sure to call ahead, this is a small custom bakery other than the cupcakes that they always have on hand for carry out:)
