The place is terrible. Things went bad early when we walked in and the heavy set lady behind the counter just rolled her eyes at us. Should have left right then but a bearded fellow came along and seated us so I thought, well, odd but lets give this a shot. Guess who then walked over to say she was our waitress and take our drink order ? Yup, that heavy set lady. Her method of asking our drink order went like this, "So are you going to be drinking anything other than the water ? Its free." Ive been in restaurants the world over and dont think Ive ever heard that approach. She seemed to perk up when she started getting our drink order and I thought, OK, maybe shes used to people just having water but she seems OK now. Lets just relax, get our food, and go watch Star Wars. But then my son asked for tea. Holy mackerel this started a wave of confusion in our waitress. "We dont have sweet tea." was her response. That threw us because he didnt say he wanted a sweet tea. The table went silent and she stared at us for a while before she finally broke her silence, "We have regular tea. Is that alright ?" My son said, "yes, thats what I mean." She says, "No sugar." My boy being 12 says, "Well I just use that sugar there." pointing to the sugar at the table. Apparently, this was enough to make her say, "But not in the tea." ... What do you think our 12 year old said ? Never seen a waitress so confused by a boy asking for tea. I really starting to think something is terribly wrong but again she seemed to perk up when she took our order. Im thinking, OK, our order is in, well be fine. Nope. We didnt see her again for the rest of the meal. Someone brought out the appetizer. It was just OK and 30 minutes later, they brought out the food for my wife and I ... not my son. Frankly, he was lucky. Mine was horrid. Our waitress had disappeared so I finally flagged someone down to say, hey, my boys food is missing. Oops, they said and finally brought it. By then, we could use drink refills ... never happened. 20 minutes later I flagged down the bearded fellow asking if perhaps our waitress had gone home. No, he says, apologizes and soon has us drinks and our bill. We live about 3 minutes from Main St. This is the worst restaurant on the strip. Wed not been in there in years because neighbors say its a dump. We were in the area and just thought wed try it for fun but cannot recommend this place. Grapevine if full of restaurants, several great ones on Main St like Dinos, or Bobs Steak and Chop House or Fireside Pies. Or a couple streets over, theres Uncle Julios and Ferraris Italian. And these are just off the top of my head. We eat out all the time because its easier than cooking. We love adding restaurants to our weekly rotation but this one is a miss. Not sure they realize that next time we eat out were either going to a place we know is solid, or to a new restaurant. Then again, maybe theyre more about just feeding the tourists whatever crap knowing theyll never see them again.

Im very displeased with my overall visit to this place and I would not go back or recommend this place to anyone. Me and my wife came here to eat yesterday morning because we had been trying to find a place that made a good eggs benedict(we had it at a restaurant in Florida and it was amazingly good) so we decided to tried this place. We ordered the eggs benedict and a few minutes later one of the employees came up to use and told us they only had enough sauce for one. I asked what the girl would recommend and she told me the migas so I said okay. we got our food and my plate was just a big greasy pile of eggs, tomatoes, sausage, and mushrooms all on top of a tortilla that was coated in more grease. When I tried it I really tried to like it because I hate to complain but it was just terrible and very bland. I couldnt do it anymore so I took it back and got a simple ham, cheese, and mushroom omlet(pretty hard to mess that up, and it was still sub par and bland), I ate a little then threw it out cause I just wasnt feeling it. Oh, and get this I saw other eggs benedicts being served after all of this so I wasnt very pleased, its just they didnt ask me if I wanted to wait a few minutes for new sauce they just told me they didnt have anymore so I assumed they were out for the day. Now, the eggs benedict we got was also very bad, the egg was overcooked so no yolk(which is a very important part). Also, the hollandaise sauce was awful; no flavor and bland, like yolks and butter only. When I took the migas up they were very nice and promptly got something else going for me, however I ended up with an omelet with three ingredients and they never offered to compensate me the difference from the original eggs benedict I payed for which was $12 and Im guessing the omelet was around $8; I let it go because I didnt think it was worth the trouble. In my opinion these guys are terrible but its not so much the service as it is the food, I mean if your really a chef you should at least use salt and pepper, I think if they fired there chefs and started over they could turn this place around but for now save your money or go somewhere else. Lastly, Im not sure where those above photos were taken but thats not the place I visited at this location. The only real pictures were the bottom 2;one of the front and the piece of cake.

Love this location! Main Street in Grapevine is so vibrant and there is always something to do or see. I highly suggest allowing yourself time to walk around and take everything in. There are several public parking lots available (just follow the signs) or parallel parking out front of the restaurant. The decor is very welcoming and quaint. I enjoyed looking around and taking it all in. The exposed brick is beautiful! We planned a brunch for a large party on a Sunday at 10:30am. Unfortunately they do not take reservations during the Sunday brunch hours, so I arrived at the suggested hour prior to put us on the list for 10:30am. At 9:30am on a Sunday more than half of the restaurant was empty. The hostess ended up seating me more than 30 minutes early because the table was ready. The wait staff was a bit disorganized passing out menus and taking drink orders once our party started trickling in, but it all worked out eventually. I believe our waiters name was Santiago and he did a great job keep track of all fifteen orders and refilling drinks. We appreciated him taking out group photo for us as well. A+ for service! I found the menu to be fresh and contain a variety of options. Some items are a little bit on the pricey side (i.e. $2 for blueberries on pancakes), but just have an open mind. All of the pancakes, including those on the kids menu have powdered sugar which surprised us. I enjoyed my brunch - gluten free bread with avocado and two fried eggs (ordered over medium) and fresh fruit. The fresh fruit was delicious - pineapple, watermelon, and grapes. A few in our party found their croissants to be dry and hard, not fluffy at all which was disappointing. It also took us a bit of time to get our checks, but at the same time we never felt rushed which was nice. Overall, it was a good experience and I cant to try it again.
