AWFUL customer service! I have heard so many good things about how good the CAKES are here, but the customer service I experienced yesterday was enough to keep me away from here for good. I went in to ask if they had any red velvet bundtinis made for Valentines Day - if I was a bakery, I sure as heck would have. Before the person behind the counter could respond, another woman to the side turned and told the woman, "No custom orders today". I was a little confused why she said this at this time since I had not said anything about a custom order. So, I asked my question again, and the woman who had spoken walked over and said this time to me, "There are no custom orders today". So I addressed her this time and I said, "Im just trying to find out if there are any pre-made that I can buy today". She got a VERY annoyed look on her face and said to me, "Okay, one more time: we arent taking any custom orders today". I asked if those were only available through special order and she said "Yes." I said, "Ok, I didnt know that." I turned to leave at that point since after this treatment there was no way I was buying anything from this store, and she yelled at me as I was leaving, "Ok, and you have a GREAT Valentines Day!". I have never in my life experienced anything like this. I went to Sweet Spot Bakery in the Alliance Center in Fort Worth, and they had plenty of red velvet cupcakes for Valentines Day customers. I will never patronize any Nothing Bundt Cakes locations after this.

I am beyond disgusted by the service I have received at nothing bundt cakes Southlake. I have always been annoyed at how rude the staff are for many years but this location is so convenient and my work orders here nearly every week so I have put up with the little annoyances until today. Today I spoke to Judy (manager) and this was the most unpleasant experience of my entire life, it is clear the anger and rude employees stem from her poor management skills. I needed someone else to pick up my order and it was a huge ordeal not sure why. So I call, Not only does she immediately start yelling at me on the phone but when I ask her to calm down I just want to know what happened and Im rather disappointed that Im being treated so bad being that we spend so much money here, she decided to hang up on me just after using some select words. When I call back I spoke with someone else and could hear her mocking me in the background. Needless to say I will never look here again for services. I am not one to write reviews like this but this has to be known and publicized so it can stop. I hope Judy can find a way to be a happier person at least for the sake of her business. This service was unacceptable. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!

Great Bundt cakes, but will never buy from the Southlake store EVER! Went in to buy 3 bundt cakes for a baby shower. Waited several minutes for Kassie to help me. Never apologized for making me wait. Never greeted me. Acted so unhappy to be helping me. Asked several times to see decorations. Would never show me the decorations. I had to ask to see the actual ribbon instead of just the color. Asked again to see the decorations that the guy had shown me the day before and if there were others. Still kept coming out empty-handed. Finally got tired of it and just purchased one bundlet and told the other girl to let her know never mind, that I will no longer purchase, that she was very rude. Called the store. Must have talked to the owner because she said her name is DeeDee and she claimed that she witnessed the whole thing, that this employee Kassie never did anything wrong and hung up on me. Great example of good customer service. The Fort Worth store is friendlier. They gave me more options. Showed me lots of decorations and gave me more ideas. I will drive out of my way from now on to get better customer service to get my Bundt cakes. DeeDee needs training in customer service obviously.

I was in here today picking up an order I had previously placed. There was a woman in front of me with two small children. They had pulled chairs out from under a small table. The owner came out of the back and said I need to put these chairs back they arent safe. The woman and her children move out of her way. The owner says I need to put them back here (implying she has to move the table in order to put the chairs back) she continues saying I dont know who moved these out. The woman explains that she did but she just pulled them from under the table. The owner says you didnt think you werent supposed to use these chairs in the rudest voice. the woman then says I think we are going to leave. Finally the owner waves and in the bitchiest voice I have ever heard from a business owner to a customer bye bye. Wow I am still blown away by this owner. This is Southlake, people make mistakes, the customer is always right. This woman needs a reality check. The cakes are good but from this and other horrible customer service incidents I have witnessed this place should be shut down.

I have purchased these cakes many times in the past and enjoyed them but never again. I purchased a Groupon coupon yesterday that had a redemption of after Feb 22, 20011 at 12AM printed on the face of the coupon. I attempted to use this this morning at 10am and was told that it was not valid until tomorrow. Disappointed, I left and called Groupon when I got to my office. Their customer service was wonderful and assured me that it was valid and even offered to reimburse me any costs I incurred above the coupon value. I then called the store again and spoke with the owner, who proceeded to argue with me over the meaning of Feb 22, 2011 at 12am and eventually said F*** you to me and hung up on me! I will NEVER GO BACK. WORST. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. EVER.

@Jeff P, I worked there two years ago and thats just how the system works. If you want to order a cake you have to enter the required fields and we have to have a callback number in case something goes wrong, you never pick up your cake, etc., and also it serves as a look up so we can find your order by phone number. NBC is not a restaurant, its a bakery so it operates on a different POS system so we didnt have a "no sale" button like you said. Just clearing things up. Also, if theres an entry without a phone number, the employees get in trouble by the owner. We dont give it out, we dont call you, we dont sell it, just give us the phone number and everything is easier.

I love sweet treats as much as the next guy, but Nothing Bundt Cakes has such moist cakes that cupcakes cant come close to. Also the icing is delicious but not to much, just right. This weekend my mother and I were shopping in Southlake and decided to get a few for dessert. We were just chatting with each other after making our purchase about the flavors and how we havent tried carrot yet. The owner over heard our chatting and gave us a carrot on her. I was shocked, such a nice gesture, will defiantly go back to this location. Also liked the carrot which she did say was her favorite. The carrot is a mix of carrot and a spice cake. Yum.
