Have not had delicious Italian food like this for 20 years or more!!! I grew up eating Italian food in the Bronx, NY and have missed it. One of my favorites is...as we called it "spaghetti aglio olio" which is spaghetti with an olive oil and garlic sauce and it was on their menu, to my surprise!!! It was wonderful!! Their bread is exquisite with the crust nice and crispy and the inside warm and soft. We were also very fortunate to hit 1/2 price bottle of wine night, which is Wednesday night. This was truly a wonderful treat for the middle of the week. This is a family owned business, (whose momma taught them well) of 2 brothers and a brother-in-law that grew up understanding the true meaning of mangiare!!!! For desert, cannolis, the best connolis I ever had!!!! The shell was not the usual hard to eat type, they were easily cut with a fork, which means they were not over cooked. If you are having any business meetings with out of town partners, this is the place to go!!! The service is extraordinary!!!! Very attentive and willing to accommodate. Our server was Jane!!! Thank you Jane, for making a mundane Wednesday a wonderful experience!!!!

This isnt your typical lets cram as many people into a small space as we can type of restaurant. I enjoyed the space and roominess of the location. We were greeted in about 5 minutes and had water within about 10 mins of being sat. That is when the experience kind of went bad. We got bread approximately 10 to 15 mins later and was somewhat burnt. We ordered an appetizer and didnt receive it until we got our meal later on, but Im jumping ahead. Our meals included a dinner salad and after about 20 mins we got a lukewarm salad with no real pizazz to it. We then waited another 20 to 30 mins for a calzone and pasta dish. Make no mistake, the food itself was delicious. Even the house Chianti was delicious! The service was inattentive and lackluster. We were told the appetizer was on the house when we finally got it, but I had to remind them when the hill came because it wasnt removed. Overall, the food was great, service was blah, and the ambiance was nice. We will go again to see if it was a one time fluke or if its a consistent showing.

About as good as it gets for food quality and service! We sampled many restaurants before we decided on Roman Cucina to host our rehearsal dinner and as soon as we walked in for the first meal, we knew it was the place for us. For our first visit, we had the calamari for an appetizer, and the beef lasagna/chicken alfredo for our entrees. For desert, we had the cheesecake (I dont even like cheesecake) and it was outstanding. If you are looking to host a large party, I HIGHLY recommend using them as they have a huge room that can seat up to 90 people I believe (we had 50 people for a rehearsal dinner). They serve family style and we chose the lasagna/chicken alfredo again + a meatless pasta. We also had 8 orders of calamari and served wine on top of it all. The servers for our dinner were outstanding and made all of our guests feel at home. They also had a great sound system which set the mood nicely. I cant say enough about this restaurant and how good they are. I will continue to be a customer and tell everyone about them!

This is authentic Italian. Almost everything is home made. I almost always get their raviolis that are different everyday. The Lasagna is the best that I have tasted in over 64 years - yes, I have eaten lots of lasagna! The bread is as close to New York Italian eateries as you can get. Not in the mood for pasta? Try the chicken or shrimp pasta-less offerings, both will knock your socks off. All their gravy (sauce) is to die for. To finish up the meal, I love their Spumoni; it, too, is the real deal.

We have visited Dallas once a summer for the past 5 years. This place is our family favorite. Everything tastes fresh. The servings are large and the price is VERY reasonable. The atmosphere is wonderful. The staff is attentive. We have been to both locations and enjoyed both. The homemade tiramisu was out of this world!!! We are every bit despite being stuffed from eating eggplant appetizer and wedding soup with our meal. Highly highly recommend this place!!!

Best food in Allen!!! Ive enjoyed the Dallas location for a while but its nice to have one closer to McKinney. The food is amazing to say the least. Ive eaten in Italy before and this is just as good if not better. The atmosphere is also a great! Staff is very friendly and welcoming to you from the moment you walk in and they take care of you no matter what you need. If you in the area I highly recommend this place, You wont be disappointed!

Unbelievable food and service, not to mention the crazy cheap prices for the quantity and quality of food they give you for those prices. Being a business owner myself, Its amazed how they can make a decent profit on those low prices. My family and I go there once a week and cant get enough of the spaghetti and meatballs. The calamari is the best Ive ever tasted and Ive been to all the best Italian restaurants in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Nice newer building and furnishings. Very clean and well maintained. Service was very good. Staff was very attentive and professional. Food was very good. We had margherita pizza and Italian sausage lasagna. They have multiple varieties of lasagna. The base noodles are all the same, different sauces are added on the top to make the various menu items. While still good, this doesnt allow them to be as good as they could be. Recommend.

Best kept secret little Italian restaurant with personal family feel, but also a nice atmosphere and nice furnishings. The wait staff is very nice and seems that theyve been trained to be very attentive and concerned with patrons satisfaction. The food is very good and has some aspects that are from scratch and homemade and they typically have some very tasty specials. Collin has been our waiter a few times and he does a great job!

Absolute worth the wait when there is one. Appetizers are delightful, had the calamari perfectly cooked with just the right chewiness. Bread comes with the meal and it is a perfect crusty bread. For main meal had the mushroom ravioli, the filling was perfectly balanced. The sauce was decadent and wonderfully flavorful. I look forward to the next time I am fortunate to be in the area again so that I can eat here.

The food was absolutely delicious, the portions substantial, and the prices very reasonable. What really stood out for me beyond this, though, was the quality of the staff. The hostesses, the bartender, our waitress, the manager, and others were courteous, helpful, and simply outstanding. If you appreciate superior service and an enjoyable dining experience, you should definitely give Roman Cucina a try!

If youre wondering whether to stop in at Roman Cuchina for a meal, quit doing that! Wonder no more! Go as soon as you can! Fabulous atmosphere, excellent service, great bar and the food in incredible. What a fine local delight. Well be back, over and over and over... PS - If you order the Tiramisu, youll probably need to get it to go. Youll be nibbling on it for days. ITS HUGE and sooooooo tasty!
