The staff at this location is friendly, kind, and provides great service. I am also a fan of the wine selection, bakery, and salad bar. On my lunch break, I often pick up a plate or two for me and my coworker. My only issue with this store.. is that the items spoil very quickly. I no longer purchase the mixed fruit in the containers because they tend to spoil two to three days after purchasing them. I also no longer purchase large quantities of fruit or vegetables because they will not last longer than two to three days. As a result, I now purchase my fruit elsewhere. The only things that I purchase at this store are the grape tomatoes, baby spinach, green leafy lettuce, yogurt, and box items. On occasion I will purchase the seafood, but I will fix the seafood within the same day of purchasing it. Now on to the deli meat. I have been purchasing the same type of deli meat for sandwiches for years. The deli meat at this location tends to last longer than the fruit, for about a week. In the past I have bought meat and took it home only to discover that it has spoiled. Sometimes when I am at the counter they ask you if you would like a sample; always say yes, because who knows how long that meat package has been open. I purchased meat recently that did not look very good. I requested another cut of meat, the sales guy complied, but stated that the meat was just opened. It was clear that the meat was old seeing that it was darker than the surrounding meat which is an indication of spoilage for the type of meat that I was buying. I began to exclusively shop at this store for organic items, but now I am starting to lean back to Krogers and Whole Foods because the items do not spoil as quickly.

Market Street is almost a great store. It certainly puts its best foot forward with features not found in your corner grocery. With a real Starbucks inside and a full buffet, this is sometimes my destination for a good meal. From there, the bakery has a full line of yummy attractions. That leads to a fine collection of cheeses and a beautiful arrangement of fruit and vegetables. The rest of the store follows the same pattern--much attention paid to making the visit an enjoyable experience. Variety is another feature. Yes, you can get the standard array of soft drinks at any store, but here you can get craft sodas like Martian Poop and Kitty Piddle. This is an interesting place! The place where they need improvement is in the quality of the produce. The selections are pretty, but often not ripe or tasty. I hope they learn and make this one improvement so I can give them 5 stars!

This review is of their pre-cooked meals and cafe area. The whole thing reminds me of an over-priced lubys. The food isnt warm or that great. Its not necessarily healthy either. The staff, though well-meaning, arent that knowledgable about how the food is prepared or what exactly is in it. One of the main problems I have is their cafe is NOT eco friendly at all. They dont even have the most basic recycling for glass or aluminum cans. I know the store is in some "upscale" posh shopping mall but come-on, if Im paying 3 times what I should for some mediocre asparagus the least Market Street could do is not wrap everything in loads of plastic and put a recycle can out.

This is by far the best grocery store in the area. Their service is top notch. We drive by four different grocery stores just to shop here. Their service is above and beyond. We just recently started Market Streets Street Side delivery program because it saves time for our family. Their excellent customer service carries over and they deliver for only an additional $10. Recently, we made a mistake on the online ordering (ordered wrong type of coffee,) Chase, who delivered to us, said no problem that he would deliver back to us the same day. Our only regret in having Market Street deliver is we dont get to experience their excellent customer service at the store.

Shopping here puts me in a bad mood because the employees at Peets are really whiney Babies!! The employees at Peets will serve you expresso with coffee grains in it and if you complain they want to jump down your throat. I liked Peets downtown and had some nice friends that worked there but these little whiney babies here at this Peets ruined it for me. The Peets employees here in Allen have a bad attitude and they whine like big babies if you try to give them any ideas on how they can run things better .They will slander you also to other stores where you have good experiences.

Other than Sprouts, Market Street is the best place for meat and produce in Allen. Since they also carry more of the mainstream processed products and home goods, theyre my go-to grocery shopping place more often than Sprouts. Service is always great, and the prices on meat/produce are fair. Processed items are sometimes a little pricier than at Kroger/Tom Thumb/etc., but the massive difference in fresh food quality and customer service means Market Street gets my business every time.

Bottom line. Such a disappointment. This is no upscalemarket, but an impostor. Prime strip sirloin was barely prime. No comparison to Sprouts. The prepared meats looked sad. And higher than their competitors. The produce was nothing special. Walmart is comparable. And their bakerys sourdough was a disappointment. I threw over half a loaf away and have and will be buying from great harvest.

Been coming here for a year and the hot and ready deli is so friendly and helpful. There is this guy in orange highlights in his hair who needs to love the cowboys. Honestly the atmosphere here is so calm and Im able to purchase hot meals and shop peacefully. Keep doing what yall are doing !

Great Bakery department! We ordered several birthday cakes from Market Street. We received excellent customer service every time from Robin in the bakery department. She listens, shes creative, and she goes out of her way to satisfy a customer. Thank you Robin!

I usually find everything I need when I come here. Good and consistent service. Great floral selection and awesome service in that department. A young man was very creative and able to make something for me to put on my friends resting place on a windy day

Check out lady was not pleasant. Forgot which number I had on file for my Albertsons account which is the same. Told me to figure it out when I got home and to bring my receipt back later. Then gave condescending service the remainder of the check out.

1st time coming here since we moved to Allen, I had high expectations and not even my lowest expectations were met. Even in the worst grocery stores, I have never found moldy products, much less 2 different products on the same trip. Would not recommend.

I love Market Street! Always clean and well stocked. Everyone is friendly and helpful. You can dine in and eat there either inside or outside. They have great breakfast, lunch and dinner plates. I love to have breakfast at Market Street!
