Market Street is my favorite grocery store. It is a great combination and compromise between several of my previous favorites. Central Market has great samples and interesting stuff but its EXPENSIVE! And you cannot get staples there or sales for the most part. Whole Foods has tons of neat stuff, though rarely any samples, expensive and people who go there are snooty. (seriously, go to one and people-watch, see how they dress) Market Street has samples of reasonably priced wines (7-15 dollar range) and various food items. They also have decent sales and are certainly cheaper than the 100s of Tom Thumbs in the area. With a baby, its nice to have them carry the stuff out and pack it, so I can focus on him. A nice plus for any family. You can get staple items there for reasonably priced, along with a lot of interesting options too. Its great they have the smoothie shop right on site, which does make good smoothies, reasonably priced. (vs Whole Foods who got rid of their Jamba Juice instore years ago.) They also have excellent food options to go or to eat onsite, along with premade means and such. I consider them a great mix of specialty shops like central market/whole foods, and a conventional grocery.

Wanted to try a Prime Rib roast for Christmas, they had a sale on Prime Rib starting 12/14/2016. Saw a stunning piece of boneless Prime Rib in the display counter, perfectly marbled not to much fat on outside or in. Well its only the 14th and I was concerned about freezing the meat so James behind the counter shared with me a lot of people order it and pickup on the 23rd or 4th so it will be a fresh cut, makes sense so I ordered it. Went back on the 23rd and my fresh cut was not as good of a cut that I passed on previously, with a little but pleasant conversation I left without buying anything. Okay I am danged determined to get a high quality piece of meat from them so this morning 12/24/2016 I called and spoke with James in the meat department and said I am on my way and we will work it out. Bottom line James was again very pleasant and helpful, introduced me to his department manager Michael and they hooked me up with a great piece of meat. My Christmas will be a little merrier thanks to those young men! David

I was really looking forward to making this my new grocery store after a recent move. They do have quality products, even if the pricing is high. However the most disappointing part of my visit was the very limited accessibility of this store. Ive had multiple knee surgeries and prefer to do grocery shopping from the accessibility carts. Good luck in this store! Especially around the deli and produce areas you cannot navigate to the area because of the way they have added corner displays around the main displays. Ive never been so uncomfortable or felt like I was inconveniencing other customers so much! The deli staff was rude and only gave me half of what I asked for. And then there are the registers. Forget trying to check out in an accessible cart. The cashier expected me to squeeze the cart past him and then navigate backwards to pat my bill. It was very uncomfortable all around. I wont go back.

Whats not to love about Market Street. I typically go to the one in Colleyville close to my moms house. The food they prepare is my favorite hands down compared to both Whole Foods, Central Market and Eatzies. And, you cant beat the prices. I drove 15 miles (30 miles total) yesterday to go get my favorite soup (Chicken Pablano) and found a few more new favorite Market Street dishes (hot and cold). The thumb print cookies are also to die for. One of the other great things is they are SO HELPFUL and friendly at their locations. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of being checked out at the register by Bo. What a great find in an employee. I wish more people in the service industry treated me like Bo. Great HIRE and dont let this one get away Market Street. Thank you Bo for treating me so kindly and with such an authentic professionalism you just dont see enough these days. WILL DRIVE back often!

I have shopped here several times but today I was asked for my phone number. The clerk entered it and then told me that it was unknown. He asked for another number - I only have a cell phone so the answer was no. He verified that he entered and the system still stated unknown. I asked "What am I to do about it?" So standing there with $40 in cash and about $35 of product in the cart ... I stated that they can keep the products and left. My cart did not contain any age related products and I am confused as to why they need my phone number in order to sell to me. Next time I go to Market Street, I will state that I do not have a phone number and see what happens.

Positive or negative I only take time for reviews when its needed. I saw a review by E.R. that said "okay store". That must have been a competitor or E.R. just needs to go to the ER. Having lived in Corpus, Lubbock, Wichita Falls, San Antonio, Los Angeles, Ca, Sacramento, Ca, this is by far the best market ever. Youre treated like a VIP every time. The selection, the displays, the cleanliness...Superb! The staff...Excellent. Oh, cant forget the Sushi and the Sushi guy...he is the Best. You cannot beat the food for breakfast or lunch. I could go on and on. Simply said, Thank you, Market Street, take a bow, you are Number 1!

I was at your store(at 11:19) this morning and I have a few comments. 1. the tall guy who worked in the beverages this morning was so helpful to me about drinks concerning no sugar or carbs, he sure did know about the drinks which I appreciate 2. the guy in the produce, which I have dealt with before, is very unfriendly and needs to find a job somewhere else. Next time, I come in the store, I will get names. I read all the grocery ads, then figured out where I am shopping, mainly your store because of the produce. I really appreciate the little cards that say, gluten free, etc.

This is my FAVORITE grocery store! Even on busy shopping days like the day before Thanksgiving, I have never waited more than one shopper deep in line. They have a remarkably friendly staff who will take your bags out to the car. You can tell theyve been well trained in customer service. Prices are excellent. Their chips and guacamole are the best in town. And Ive gotten some great, quick recipe ideas from some of their food demonstrators. TIP: Try the Texas Tumbler pre marinated chicken breasts in the meat department for super easy dinners.

A friend introduced me to this store, its got the variety I need in a grocery store, prices I like, and an occasional special that makes it worth while. Samples are plenty, & family friendly cafe, I think I spent a little more than I intended the first time, but when you consider the trip to central market for XYZ (and then some), sprouts for that, walmart or target for that... It makes it so much easier just to go here. its like the stores merchandise planners/buyers/whomever thought "lets make this for siothas family".
