Meh...turnip greens were way too salty, boneless grilled chops were pretty good, and salad bar was fresh, but lacked variety. Admittedly, its hard to find a salad bar at most restaurants these days, so I guess thats a plus for Legends. The service was okay, I was greeted and seated quickly. The waiter told me I could get a meat, one side, and the salad bar for "10 flat", but when I got my bill it was $12.50. I also had to ask for silverwear (after Id already made my trip to the salad bar) and asked twice for a menu. He brought me a 5 and 1 back for change on a $12.50 before tax ticket. I didnt want to tip a dollar, but I certainly didnt want to tip 40% either. I had to ask for more change. No big really, just a bit disorganized. He did however have a good tableside manner and seemed to be trying hard to do things correctly. I got a sense he hadnt been waiting tables for long.

The best thing about it is the salad bar. Its not as good as Jasons Deli, but if youre in the mood for a salad and dont mind iceberg lettuce as your only greens option, then its a good spot. The other food is mediocre at best, though I must say this visit wasnt to eat. I came to watch a hockey game in the bar and the bar people have been extremely accommodating, friendly, and attentive. Ill definitely come back to watch a game! ------------------------------------------------------------- Given the below response I decided to return for food to give them another chance, even though I really wasnt all that upset with the first visit. This time I was brought a beer I didnt order and it took so long I asked for my food to go. Per the receipt I was then charged extra for asking for it to go. Good lord. They did have better lettuce options this time though

First off, I enjoy how the owner only responds when it is convenient. Dont get me wrong I like the place, but the service is 50/50. We recently had an issue with our order being completely wrong and cold. So Bill, please use my review to educate your staff and get rid of the excuses. When food is cold and wrong, own it, fix it and move on. No one likes to hear an excuse for food that wrong and cold Food is decent for the price when it is right...but these reviews Im reading and Bills response are comical and the excuses he makes in these reviews are a joke Lesson here, get service in shape, no excuses. Im going to sit back and wait for Bills response. Tried again and could not get waited on in an empty bar. This place is run by children with no clue. Bill, get off your ass and get these clowns in gear.

Their service is always so bad. They treat customers as if they could care less about having them there at their establishment. From entering to being served. It is such a shame because the food is good. Today we decided to go there and as usual they didnt disappoint with rude service. Upon entering it was very busy. There were 3 greeters/attendants at the podium. One of the greeters was gritting her teeth at me and looked very tense about the situation. After a quick hello she asked how many. I said I just want to know about the wait first. The manager in the middle rudely said "Well, we need to know the number first." I told him and he responded back with 30 minutes. We didnt care to stay after the brief unwelcoming interaction. We left for better service and food elsewhere in the Boro.

Stopped by Legends on my way home from work to order dinner to go for me and my son. I decided to have a drink at the bar and asked why the price of my drink was higher than usual. I found out the bartender was charging $3 for the grapefruit juice they put in it. I asked can he waive the grapefruit juice charge because Ive been coming here for over two years and never had to pay a grapefruit juice surcharge before. He said no, because I should have been paying it all along. I live 1/2 mile from legends and have spent $300 at a minimum there in just the last two months. Hate to think about what the total $ amount has been over the past several years. Im going to Logans for my food order even though its a longer drive. As a regular customer Im very disappointed....

We came in for lunch a few months back. We were seated quickly, but, when are drinks were brought to the table...3 large glasses of fruit tea ended up on the table and in my lap. Ok, fine accidents happen. We moved to another table ordered appetizers, no problems, they were great. Main meal comes out, my 8 year sons hamburger is burnt, send it back and they made him another one. He was ok with that one, even though it was slightly burnt too. We have been here many times and never had a problem. Food has always been great. Love the salad bar and prime rib, which is usually what I get. We are afraid to return. Hopefully when and if we do, it will be like it use to be.

We have eaten there several times and have typically enjoyed it. The food is good, nothing that I cant live without though. The Fruit-tea is always popular! This last time we went was for a birthday party with about 40 adults and 15 kids. We had only one sever (whos name I dont remember) which should have been a debacle. However, he was great; especially given the size of the group and the cramped layout of the tables. Drinks might have run low occasionally but were always refilled and my son almost ate his fill of rolls. Again, good food, but I havent found anything "great".

Not having tried the steak at a steakhouse, it was my first visit there, though, and I just had the appetizer as a meal. Mozzarella sticks were okay, but the potato skins were cooked perfectly (crispy skin) and the chicken tenders had a tasty BBQ teriyaki sauce. I tried the Hersheys cake and was disappointed in the sauce filled with granulated sugar, leaving a grainy texture on top of a moist cake. Staff was wonderful and attentive, though, and our large party was seated promptly and attended to without any issues. Prices are average, but kids meal burger is an adult burger!

Been there about six times over the years, as its close to home. However, every time weve gone, theres been a problem. Were not picky about service, but its very slow there. One time my lasagne was frozen in the middle and it took 20 to get a waiter to help me out with it. They comp-ed my meal, but I never did get to eat. They have a great menu too, but again it seems like the slow service always seems to interfere with the pace and enjoyment of the meal. The bar can be really noisy if seated too close to the area. Couldnt hear ourselves talk.

I will never eat here again. I use to love this place. The family would come here every Saturday for the burger specials but the last few Saturdays it has been a problem and this was the last straw when I was served this burger (see picture ) waiter asked if I wanted a manager . No I don’t wanna see a manager the fact that you got a cook that doesn’t know how to make a hamburger and it even got to my table as severable is beyond me. If this is what your going to serve your customers. I’ll settle for McDonald’s at least I can eat that .
