I just stopped at New China in Franklin on my way home from nashville. There were about 5 tables so it was not busy but active. The food looked appealing but once i had fixed a plate and sat to eat it became apparent the food was old and room temperature. It was most likely left from lunch time if not the day before. The shrimp was mealy and tasteless from have sat and or been extremely overcooked. Even the rice had become mushy and pasty. I was unable to finish my one AND only plate and was already expecting to be ill before i made it home. I paid for my meal and was ask by the man i assume was the manager was everything "OK". I said, No, it was not very good and i believe the shrimp was actually bad. He laughed. I waited to see if he was going to make any effort to address the issue but he just walked away. Franklin is not a place for chinese food and its a shame because i do enjoy eating in competent establishments G.S. Bowling Green,Ky.

This place changed hands a few years back, and it has been a gag-wagon ever since. Sometimes, cold and often dried out from sitting under the heat lamps for hours on end. (Yes, I know that cold and heat lamps dont seem to go together, but its the way it is.) Even if you order off the menu, the food is horrid, the worst pieces of meat are used as a base to make a dish. Buy a frozen Chinese dinner at the Pig, take it home, and microwave it; you will be better off.

I placed an order to go, then I get home and realized they forgot to send one of the entrees I ordered. I called to let them know , and the lady was extremely rude ,and said she was willing to loose a customer , rather than make a $7 purchase right. I will never go there again. The food is mediocre at best!!!!

Stuff drops out of the ceiling into your food. Sewage smell near the restrooms. Mold on ceilings. Any more said I will loose my previous meal. If you want to be sick for a couple of days or you just want a great case of food poisoning then stop and eat here.

Mediocre food, much if it over cooked. Only one shrimp dish, no general Tsos. Jalapeño chicken is their best dish. White rice was good and fresh. Service was vey good. I doubt well be back due to Hibachi in BG is much better
