They are becoming extremely cheap and desperate to overcharge. They are afraid to put enough of the general foods that are supposed to come with a normal menu, such as Rice, beans and lettuce on a dinner plate. Even the meats are becoming under-cooked and served with a lesser portion than before. You will receive more onions than meat. At one time there would be enough to eat and take a box home, but now you have to ask for more of the general items to finish your plate and that is when they start to overcharge. Its a scam in order to double-cross the customer! So they arent only cheap, they are dishonest and cheap. The staff is sitting at the back slouched watching people eat in order to do re-fills, which is tacky and strange. I used to dine at this particular place once a month but now Im posting a review due to dissatisfaction of their lack of respect for customers, for their selfishness when it comes to filling your plate and lack of concern after their told about these issues. This was a second attempt at trying to put faith back into this resturaunt and it did not work out well. As soon as I went into the resturaunt someone was complaining about their food and I shrugged it off but found out that it was a reality that I couldnt ignore after they served my family our plates. I would give them a zero but it didnt give me the option. I will go to the smaller place from now on, El Rodeo. It might be small but the service and food is much better. I used to love La Potosina, but when Greed and unprofessional-ism start, its hard to ever get it to stop, plus its disrespectful. Sorry but these amigos are a wrap

I come in here and eat every other month or so very friendly staff great food and great service!The waiters and waitresses always come back to check and see if theres anything else. Never have had any problems since Ive been coming here in the past 8 years. Ive recommended others and have brought others from out-of-state here and everyone has been very pleased with them and have come back on their own also. Sometimes I will place an order when Im in town and pick it up on the way back home. I will always say this food is great here at this restaurant ,no complaints from me. And everyone makes mistakes everybody should take that in consideration and if there was anything ever wrong I think someone should mention it to them and Im sure they would try their best to make it right.

I have always enjoyed eating inside here or picking it up and taking it home. Either way it is great food. The waiters and waitresses are excellent as well. The pricing of the food is Affordable. You will be greeted with a smile and they will always come back to check on you if you are dining in to make sure everything is to your liking. You will enjoy it here. If you havent tried it come in and try it out.

We from out of state, and this place was recommended by family. It was so good that we came back before we left town by ourselves. Friendly staff, but not all "up in your business" I thought the food and prices were great. And any family restaurant can get messy during busy times..but I didnt notice anything oit of the ordinary. I would definitely recommend this place.

Awful! Served us lunch portions but charged dinner rates. Didnt offer to change the price. Will NOT be back!!! Sweet tea tasted like goldfish water, I suppose being Ive never drank goldfish water, but thats definitely what it would taste like if I drank it! Rice tasted like uncle Bens microwave ready rice. I give it NO stars, but had to click one to post.

Horrible, horrible!!!!!! Food on walls, food on the seats nothing had been wiped off in a long time. Service and food just as bad! The people who run this needs a real lesson in manners and how to treat customers. Waiter would not make eye contact or speak to my husband....kinda weird..will not return...

Disgusting place inside. Need to go to a real mexican restaurant and try there food and try to copy. Waiters cant even greet you or look in the eye horrible service. Enchiladas and tacos were burnt. Food was on the walls and floors, chairs where ripped, our daughter had fun counting bugs that she seen.

I did not have a good experience at this restaurant. Not at all an authentic Mexican restaurant, the tamales and the burritos had brown gravy on them. On top of that the all of the food was terribly salty! They even charged extra for some extra jalapeños when we asked to make the food spicy.

Slow service, no authentic flavor to the food. Ordered a chile rellano (breaded poblano filled with cheese), was served some type of meat and cheese dip. Salsa tasted like tomato sauce. Definitely not ever coming back here. Taco Bell is better than this place!

Its greasy and not nearly authentic as in Mexico, but highly recommended for what has become gringo-ized Mexican food in the U.S. Try the Potosina Mexicana or Pechuga Frita. Make sure to get the cheee dip to go with their fantastic chips and salsa.

Service for our large group (14) was excellent - orders were taken quickly, and food came promptly. This is not a place to go for ambience, but dont let surroundings or inside appearances keep you from enjoying fine Mexican food.
