Used to be better a few years ago. The "steak" (or horse meat?) is about 70% gristle & fat, the tacos are at best drunk college kid food, and the only salsa they have is usually ridiculously spicy. My stomach always feels sick after eating their food. Beware when ordering your food to go too, theyre terrible at getting your order right. Its so much fun getting home, untying the triple knotted bag & realizing the food is nowhere near close to what I ordered & having to go back. It happens so frequently. They need to switch to a simpler numbered menu like McDonalds, or hire an English speaking translator (probably both). Also, I dont know if the managers are deaf or if they just assume that all of their patrons are most likely deaf, but the TVs on both sides of the restaurant dont need to be turned up to 11 & distorted. Its extremely obnoxious, not to mention conversing with others at your table becomes as painful as trying to place your order. This place is like a 2 AM desert island last resort type situation. Actually, no thanks, Ill gladly take hunger pangs to feeling pissed off because my order is wrong, then sick to my stomach an hour later because the dog food I just consumed isnt agreeing with me.

Worst dinning experience I have ever had. I told the cashier "for here", he marked it to go. I waited for 45 minutes before asking how much longer my food will be. The waiter said that my receipts were not accurate. They made my order to go, so my food was sitting for 45 min minutes at the pick up counter. After complaining, the waiter said my food was made to go, so she didnt bother having the kitchen make a fresh order but instead brings me my cold food that had been sitting. Instead of trying to remedy the situation the waiter would rather argue with me, saying that I made the mistake saying to go even though I said loud and clear that I wanted dine. Never going back there. Never got a refund or got my food remade but instead making me pay for and wait about an hour for cold food.

I enjoy this place because its open really late till 2am some nights. The downside is that its a hit or miss because I have gotten sick once and a lot of other people I know get sick from time to time from here. Its a college kid kinda place late at night, packed at odd times and after local social events, service is decent even when it is packed but understand that it IS packed and there is usually one girl servicing. One thing I will complain about is the over priced tacos. For the amount of food they put out their tacos are 3.75 each and other taco places are around 2 dollars. They must be making bank and if not something shady is going on behind the scenes.

THIS USED TO BE MY FAVORITE PLACE, ID GIVE 10 STARS BEFORE, CAUSE THE FOOD WAS SO AWESOME GOOD. BUT I GOT HAIR IN CHICKEN SOUP TWICE 2X, SERIOUSLY? THEN THE PRICES GOT HIGH AND LESS FOOD, BEFORE I COULD NOT FINISH MY PLATE, AND KNOW I AM STILL HUNGRY AFER FINISH MY PLATE. THN ONE DAY I GO BUY CARNE ASSADA AND GUESS WHAT??? IT WAS CLOSED BY THE SANITARY VIGILANCE ( I DONT KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG) THEN THIS LAST, I REALLY MEAN LAST TIME I FOUND A LITTLE PIECE OF METAL( COBRE) IN MY BABYS SIDE PORTION. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PLACE THAT USED TO BE AWESOME :(

This place hits the spot at 1 in the morning when you need a pick me up. I hail from elgin which has some good taquerias and this place blows them out of the water. I got a burrito suizo con carne asada, avocado and sour cream and it was phenomenal. The meat was seasoned well and there was an abundance of cheese throughout the burrito. Their chips and salsa where very good along with their pickled jalapeños and carrots. If you are fiendin for some late night munchies put this place on your list.

great late night place for burritos. This place has been a weekly thing for my friends and Ive enjoyed the majority of burritos you can get. Usually you can expect fast service, good food, large portions, reasonable prices. The downsides is that most of the food could use some more seasoning and there are consistency issues with some dishes, for instance pork is sometimes too tough or the over the phone order was not done right. I was not really impressed with the small tacos.

If I could rate this a place a 0 I would. I went there on 12/4/16 and ordered two burritos one of which were supposed to be only meat and cheese. I drove 25 min home and it has everything on it then when I asked for a refund they refused to correct my order or give me a refund because thats what the manager said. Then I asked to speak to a manager and they said that there was no manager there. They were making stuff up as they went along. Food isnt that great either.

Used to be favorite Mexican joint, not anymore. Service is at an all time low. A couple sat down and received their menus right away and got their food ordered, all the while we go unoticed even after the waitress passed us 4 times. Tried to get noticed, but to no avail was not. Also had to wait 45 minutes one time to get a torta and a taco, and yes I told then several times how long Ive been waiting. No one cared.

Great if you have nothing to do and if you cant find anywhere else to eat deep in the night. Food is usually good. Whatever you do, just pay upfront whenever youre done (which is bullshit). Apparently theres no such thing as a manager here so if you have something to complain about, good luck. Theres a new creepy black dude just standing by the bathrooms doing nothing but cleaning after people leave.

***Fraud Alert*** I cant complain about the food but two days after eating here my debit card attempted to be used in Mexico for upwards of $600 on multiple transactions. This restaurant was the only place Ive been recently where I had to physically hand my card to someone rather than use a self checkout method. There is no way to prove my suspicion but it is worth noting. Beware and pay cash.

Ive had just about every burrito in the suburbs and can honestly say this is THE BEST burrito around. The restaurant is very clean and the service is excellent- the staff is very polite and anything you ask for is brought out to the table immediately. The food is very clean and not at all greasy like most others. I would definitely recommend this place.

Best bang for your buck authentic mexican meal. Not to mention the portions are enormous. I have been a Los Burritos fan for over years and been to multiple locations in Illinois and recommend them all! Open late is a plus! - Great spot to grab a good meal after a long night out! OPEN UNTIL 4am... cant beat that! Also, try the orchata... its amazing.

Had the carne asada tampiquena, as I typically do when I come here. EVERYTHING, I repeat everything they make here is delicious. The beans, the rice, the guac, the salsas are all on point. Dont let the inconspicuousness of this joint fool you. Stop in here and order anything on the menu and you will enjoy. Nice service here too.
