Ive never had bad Mexican Food until tonight. How do you have a sit down Mexican restaurant and you have to pay for chips and salsa? The guacamole tasted like it came out of a can. The chicken fajitas were over priced and served with shredded chicken. When I asked if they had fajita style chicken they said they only have shredded which makes me believe their chicken comes pre shredded in a bag. I returned the fajitas (I dont like shredded chicken) and they still charged for the rice and beans. One employee was hosting, serving, bussing and bar tending. The owner/manager never came out to talk to me about my returned meal. In addition, my husband and I were the only ones in the restaurant and it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive. The excuse was they had other customers and take out orders. (Although no one ever entered the restaurant.) We will not be returning.

I was at this restaurant recently with a group of people of 25.I love Mexican food and was expecting a tasty meal but instead I was given the blandest meal ever.Tortilla soup did not even resemble tortilla soup.It was a pretty tasteless chicken soup with 3 tortilla chips in it (?).The taco salad was a taco shell filled with Romaine salad, topped with some chicken and 2 slices of avocado.No tomatoes,beans,sour cream, nothing.The Ranch dressing was actually Blue cheese and I ended up having some dry salad due to lack of dressing. The room was cold and roof was leaking so they put a bucket in the middle of table !!!Can you imagine? To top it off, a waitress spilled something hot on the arm of the future bride and scalded her arm. She may even sue for that. I do not live there so my chances of ever dining there are zero.

Its really a shame about this place. The soups are really good, guac is really good, no free chips and salsa, but thats ok. Everything else was pretty bland. I will say that the white meat chicken was really good and a lot of it. What appalled me was how rude the owner was. Heaven help you if you complain or ask for any adjustment to your food. Ive seen this comment before about him. Our server was really good, ours was Jenna and she was awesome- I want to make sure she gets proper credit. But that rudeness from the owner kind of takes any pleasure out of dining there. Maybe I caught him on a bad day, but if this place is going to survive, then he needs to get a bit of self control. I will order takeout, but will probably never dine in again.

Every month this place raises their prices $1-$3. They dont serve hot or free chips like every other dine in Mexican restaurant. We use to be loyal daily repeat customers and just didnt order the expensive chips, but now since the latest price increases, we wont be returning. The service sucks on the taco bar days. They are too busy serving the taco bar people to take, make, or bring out your order when it is finally done. Also be aware if it is not busy, the owner will complain for hours and keep you trapped. 1 year ago I would have given 3 hrs stars. This year I wouldnt even give one star. In this economy constantly raising the rates was a bad choice. Good riddens Tortilla Flatz!!!!!!

Tortilla Flatz is close to me, and Im glad about that because the place tastes great. I usually get one of the Flatz combos and eat the rest the next day. The rice also tastes really good. Its a small dining room, but its never packed or uncomfortable. My to go order has always been right too. There is also outdoor seating here and a small bar area.

Worst service in the world. Me and my partner came in to this restaurant. Hoping for a friendly face. But all we got was a rude welcoming. There was only one waitress on staff. And she refused to allow us to talk to a manager or owner. I am completely appalled. And find their service rude. Stay away from this location.

I was told by owner that meat and salad are premixed So I could not order a tostata with the meat on the side. Wonder how they heat the meat but not the salad!? Canceled my order and will not go here ever again. Owner was rude and to busy to hear or take my order.

Good fresh food made daily..Gauc is some of the best I have had, and the owners will bend over backwards to make you happy. We use them for catering all the time and they deliver great meals.
