This has admittedly been my first hot chicken in TN. However. It was so delicious that I would come back here before trying somewhere else. Im really sensitive to spicy food so I just got the mild, and it was the perfect mixture of spice and flavor for me. My husband got the hot and enjoyed it, but wished he had gone for firecracker. He agreed that even at the hot level of spice there was way more flavor than he expected. The mac n cheese was the perfect ooey gooey cheesy mac that Ive been searching for and craving for weeks. Fried green beans were on point. My mother got the BBQ chicken tenders and they were tender and delicious as well. Expect to wait a little bit for them to cook your food fresh, but it is sooo worth it. There was a group of 10 people ordering when we walked in the door but I still felt we got our food within a reasonable time all things considered. You can have your BBQ and bushwackers - this was my favorite food during my 5-day stay in Nashville. Tender, crispy, spicy, and so much flavor. Cant ask for anything more than that! The woman at the front counter was very kind and checked in with all the tables in the restaurant to make sure the food came out well. You could tell she cared about the quality of the food and whether the customers are satisfied.

The restaurant did not feel air conditioned, and while it was a cool day outside, the doors were closed. I know that AC can be expensive, but customer experience is worth money too. At least I got my food to go. The Hot Catfish (Hot) was very good. Large serving, cooked well, crispy breading, and great flavor. I think the "Hot" level was perfect. I will go back for this many times. The Hot Chicken Breast Quarter was not that great. It was cooked well, with crispy breading, but no real flavour. No seasoning. Just heat. Maybe thats what some people like, but I want it to be something besides blanf chicne and heat. I also found it a bit heavy on the sauce. While I think that they have a good process, I like other HC joints better and would probably go there. The employees were very nice, but there was nothing included with my to go order: No sauce (Tarter might have been good), no wet whipe, no fork and knife, no napkin. This was kinda a bummer, but hopefully I was a fluke. All in all though, the catfish was really good, and Ill rate the place on the best part.

Food was great... hot & fresh! The menu is a mix of Chinese classics (General Tso, Egg Rolls, Fried Rice, etc) & Nashville Hot Chicken & Fish, & the decor is the same. This was a little strange, but as I said, the food was great! I got the Hot Chicken Tender combo and the chicken & fries were cooked perfectly. I will say that they are penny pinchers though. No sauce (blue cheese, ranch, etc) comes with the combo ($7.95-9.95). Those cost $.50 each, and theyre pretty small. I needed 2 for my meal. Also, it was 100°F outside and they barely had the AC on. If youre in it for the ambience & atmosphere, look elsewhere, but if youre just looking for some good fried chicken & fish, look no further!

Ordered the catfish sandwich, hot. It was definitely hot, I doubt I have the chops for the hottest that they have and I ordered over the phone so it was almost ready by the time I got ther (~20 min.) The "sandwich" was actually two filets on two slices of white bread with some sliced onions and 3 pickles. The place was warm, it was cooler outside. Maybe they are saving on the electric bill. The lady working the counter was very polite and nice, which is a plus. Ill likely be back but as of now its not my new favorite or anything; if you like Nashville hot chicken, give it a try and form an opinion of your own.

Called at 9:15 when they close at 10 to place a pick up order. The hang up the first time and then they lied when I called again and said that they close at 9:30 instead and the order was gonna take too long to cook so they could not do it. This is a new place so I dont feel like this is the way their service should start up. Great food but terrible service.

First time Nashville Hot, ate here twice. Chicken is cooked fresh (which I appreciate), so expect a wait. If you are from Buffalo, the hot here is as hot as you get from home, but this is a dry coating, not a hot sauce coat. It was refreshing for something to be called hot to have bite! My only complaint was the AC- it was quite warm in here both times.

There was a wait. The staff was sweet...I dont think they even deliver but a disgruntled customer who had to wait on his food was met with the sweet owner (lady) who offered to deliver his food to his house on the other side of town so that he could get home to his pizza that was getting cold. I will write a review about the food next.

Great value for money; I had two meals out of one! The chicken was juicy and the mild spice was just enough zing. I loved the cole slaw and think it would make a great addition to the meal. It should be included and just compensate with pricing. I will return here frequently!

Hot Chicken & Fish, have arrived in Mt Juliet. No need to travel downtown for Nashville style hot chicken. Seriously they fried hot catfish is incredible; eat it 2 or 3 times a week. Call ahead to order and save time (cooked fresh to order takes extra time).

The chicken is moist, sauce has great flavor and the sides are delicious too :) Only have had the hot and its not soo hot its not enjoyable! On the other hand my father said the mild was hot for him! Depending on your overall tolerance is what you should go by.

Great hot chicken and catfish, plus fried rice, egg rolls and other Oriental favorites. How you can have two completely different choices of cuisine and have them both be authentic, defies logic, but somehow, they pull it off. Very friendly Mom and Pop business.

Great food cooked fresh was told to call ahead to avoid long wait times. Answerd on first call was told to hold and no one returned for about 10 mins and phones been busy for 30 more so definitely was forgotten about. So definitely wont be first choice again.

Excellent rendition of Nashvilles Hot chicken - the "Hella Hot" will light just about anyone up. While the food is great, the service is a little disorganized at this location. Be prepared to wait about 15 - 20 minutes for food unless calling ahead.

So mad. I meant to order from the one near German town but oh well. Only got three stars because of the chicken. The waffle wasnt no where near the other location. It was pale and like soft. But I wont ever buy from this location again.

Ive never had to wait in a long line. Food is always FRESH and tastes GREAT. One thing though... You have to wait almost 15 for them to cook since its cooked to order. I dont mind it one bit. Workers are always friendly.
