Went in wanting a smoothie. Great atmosphere. Parking was an issue, I ordered a smoothie with an addition of kale. While watching her make my smoothie she put a salad mixture into my smoothie (Kale,carrots,spinach,purple lettuce) I only asked for kale When I asked her about it she said this is just what we use, do you want it or not..I was also surprised at the fact that they used ocean spray juice (High in fructose corn syrup). After receiving my smoothie and no straw i looked beside the soda machine and there were none. I asked one of the guys at the counter for one and he gladly gave me one. The girl who had made my smoothie rudely commented "Also to the left the the soda machine" . I wasnt going to argue that there were none so I took my smoothie and I left, I will not be returning because of the service from her. I will be driving to Berry Hill to JUICE BAR for my Fresh Smoothie.

Always looking for a breakfast/brunch joint, this Sylvan Park bagel shop is a sure one to put in the rotation! They feature Drews Brews coffee, which I love, as well as plenty of other specialty cafe drinks; my wife enjoys the Honey Bee. Great bites too. Ive only tried the bagels (there are approx a dozen varieties to choose from), but they have sandwiches and salads too. The salads looked a tad disappointing as they were pre-made and kept in a refrigerated case, as opposed to made to order. That said, there is plenty to enjoy about this place, so Im keeping the 5-star rating intact!

Really enjoy this place for a quick bagel sandwich. They do a great job with their bagels and I think they have some of the best in Nashville for the price. Although lines can sometimes be long, the staff gets through the customers and orders at a pretty good pace so you are never waiting for your food very long. I saw the previous post said the place does not have WiFi, but they had WiFi the last time I brought my computer to do work there (April 2016), so maybe that is new? Have been going here for 2+ years and never had a bad experience, I would recommend this place to anyone.

READ(FROM NYC)- if you are from NYC area and are looking for a good bacon egg and cheese dont come here. 2 stars is because the bagel is actually decent. However I dont like microwaved eggs on my bagel. In fact I dont like any part of my food microwaved. What is this a college dorm room with no grill? The iced coffee taste like dirt. Stay away. Organic milk & organic sugar. Wouldnt be so bad except my whole meal was $16 For 2 bagels and a cup of dirt. Dont know how this place has such good reviews because my experience was otherwise.

Great variety of food and drinks, but parking can be a problem. The best time to go is around 2-3; no or little wait time. The staff here are extremely friendly and wide awake for 6 a.m. if you are one for breakfast. Bagels are freshly made and not hard as a hockey puck as I have had at other competitors. Never had a problem with the service, though I am sure many have complaints about wait time during lunch but if you are familiar with the area you can understand why. Well worth the wait though.

Bagels are some of the best in Nashville. Having lived in NY, I am very picky about bagels - its hard to find good ones around here. Service is not perfect. Manager makes no bones about being in violation of the credit card companies policies by requiring a minimum purchase amount. I have seen employees pick bagels off the floor and put them in the basket. Im still willing to put up with some service problems for good bagels, however Panera and Brueggers are strong competitors.

Pros: The food is always great. Good smoothies and bagel sandwiches. Lovely Sylvan Park location. Cons: It can get really busy on weekend mornings with a line through the restaurant. Also, ordering online has proven to be pointless as you still have to wait in the long line of people ordering to let them know you placed an online order. In my case they were too busy to check these online orders so no one had even seen it.

To the owners of Star Bagel - you get a major fail. I stopped by for the first time for bagel and coffee. To my surprise Star Bagel doesnt have Wifi...Why? Is this expense really too much for you to provide? You certainly charge enough for food and coffee. Also, you charge .75 for a coffee refill? I hope someone opens up another coffee shop in this area so you can see how to take care of your customers.

They have many bagle varieties but limited cream cheese choices. However, you can still find something you like. They serve breakfast bagles all day and will serve their large selection of sandwiches on any of their bagles. Also, the coffee is pretty good and they have a selection of espresso drinks.

When bagel is in your name, the measure of the cafe starts with the quality of that boiled and baked ring of wheat. Its a good bagel thats near the top in Nashville. The real stars at Star Bagel are the customer service, speed, and the top-notch chicken salad, lox, juices and coffee.

Nice little bagel shop. Had the spicy Mike which was the special. In town for work and wish I had discovered it sooner, so much better than mc ds breakfast. Also, they managed to be so much more awake than I was, props, helped lighten my day!

The service here is great and the dirty chai with almond milk is wonderful. However, the egg tastes steamed and the bacon is like paper. A lot of local Nashville restaurants use the high quality Bentons Bacon. This place should do that too.

Love this place! The fruit tea is the best around. My usual is a turkey fresco with fruit tea. This is a great place to meet friends or spend a few hours reading during their "down time" in the morning (typically 9-11 is a bit slower).

They have espresso, they have a great menu, they have poor service. There is a nice, short lady that works behind the counter, but the young guys didnt even pretend to seem like they give a damn about their customers experience.

I love this place. Its my breakfast "Cheers". They all know my name and have my order ready before I even order sometimes. I guess I am a bit predictable. Always fresh. The organic pressed juices are fantastic, too :)

Always delicious, helpful staff. A bit pricey, but quality is high. They dont have WiFi, so people dont camp out to do work. This makes the atmosphere more convivial - everyone is usually eating and talking.

Decent prices for a pretty good breakfast sandwich. They do serve breakfast and lunch all day so you can get whatever your stomach desires. This place didnt blow me away, but Id probably eat there again.

Fave bagel place in town. The word has obviously gotten out as its painfully busy in there all day long. But foods totally worth it. Spinach and herb bagel with the garlic and herb spread owns my soul!!

Great having the best bagel and sandwich shop right in the neighborhood. Great staff and the food is always good. Parking can be a problem but thats because theyre so good they stay busy.
