Me and a group of my other young professional friends were frequent visitors here and last night we traveled miles just to come to blue bar. We were initially let through the door by the guy checking ID and then the "manager" whispered in his ear and the guy told us "my boss said we cant let you in bc your shorts are too long?!" Now this is a new one for me. Ive heard too baggy jeans, must have proper shoes and attire but shorts are too long? Fyi they were knee length which I thought was the normal for most men. Then I realized that the young white men in line behind me were let in with the same exact American Eagle shorts I had on and realized that my favorite bar might have just profiled me or shown some sort of prejudice. I was humiliated and baffled for the rest of the night. I am trying to find the right person to speak or report this too but until then Ill be taking my talents to rebar.

I would give it a zero if I could. On Oct 31, 2014, I was refused entry even though I paid $25 for the block party entrance fee. The front door bouncer declined to let myself and every African American male who paid for block party entrance into the establishment. I will be reporting this experience and these observations to the regional human rights office.

Wow! The opposite of an aosis. This creepy, dangerous, cess pool is in the middle of like eight cool bars. Since my visit, friends tell me that it has been the sewage hole of the neighborhood for as long as they remember. Losers is right across the street, and brings in ten times the revenue with half the space.

Their music lately is not up to standard. Every time Ive gone in the last couple months has been extremely dull. The D.Js are not current and the country singers dont sing current country songs either. The margarita I got there tonight tasted like watered down lemonade. They need to step up the game.

Met some fellow songwriters here and had a great time. The only downside was feeling a little rushed and them closing at 10 on a Sunday. Especially when the places across the street were packed and stayed open past 1, at least. Great stage and atmosphere.

Had a few beers last night and watched the live band for a few hours. Very nice atmosphere, and the band was fantastic! Definitely reccomend if youve never been...

Theyve made a lot of improvements here in recent years. Drinks are well priced. Only place in midtown to dance and enjoy a live DJ Friday and Saturday night.

Customer Service is horrible. Pool tables were closed. And its empty in here. In that case CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE GREAT!!!!!!!!
