I came in on a Sunday night and hour before they closed, which annoys anyone who works in a restaurant, understandably. I had to wait 15 minutes for my wife to get there on top of that. I apologized and assured the waiter we would be Quick. He did not seem agitated whatsoever. Very friendly. We ordered quickly and he proceeded to bring out probably the best Mexican food that I have had in Nashville. It is clear they are using the best ingredients for the price point they are charging. Complex and delicious sauces, not from a bag supplied by some food distributor. The meat was great quality as well as the queso. He didnt even rush us out, even though we were the last people in there, so i gave him a 50% tip. I was totally floored and will be definitely be a regular customer. FANTASTIC!!

My husband and I have visited this place multiple times. Each time the staff has had attitude problems. Yesterday takes the cake. We waited for 20 minutes and never even received water. I spoke to one of the under age children working asking if she minded making someone aware. She did and the lady looked at us and said we could wait. My friends have had similar experiences. We all have a few things in common we tip well and we are Black. After reading the reviews I am starting to see a trend. It is a shame because the food is wonderful but I refuse to be treated less than a human. The better business bureau as well as other organizations that investigate this type of treatment have been contacted.

Food is amazing. Coming from a Hispanic background I can tell you its very similar to what we would eat at home, and the fact they have variety like vegetarian options is a plus ! Staff is friendly, polite and on top. One thing people fail to realize is sometimes the restaurant ( && other restaurants just as well) are short handed, with even the owners / servers working the front of the house AND back, so the wait may be longer, food, or small requests may take a little longer than you may like. Every restaurant has peak hours where they stay busiest && holidays too. Dont let these comments distract you from the fact the food && staff are some of the best youll come across!! See for yourself!!

I love the tilapia enchiladas but the service is the reason I cant stand this place. We have come here many times and tip well but there is always attitude from people on the staff. Im eating a "California burrito" with meat, rice, beans and NOTHING ELSE!! Where is my sour cream and guac? Where is the cheese? Weve tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but they have bad customer service. We sat for 15 minutes before only to have new people served before us. It is a shame that the service is so poor because the food is not that bad.

Waitress was not personable at all, the chimichanga was not fried I asked the waitress her response was maybe they will fry it next time. Asked twice for water with extra lemon, we got water no lemon. Didnt even ask to reduce bill. Never again

Very good experience at The Plaza! I have gone with Co workers for lunch many times. Food is good and quick service is appreciated on limited time. Also Carmen has helped me cater a big gathering aNd it was excellent!!!!

Lo Peor. I ordered a high-priced entrée, got a spoiled piece of meat, the veggies and sides were less than impressive... and I was never asked if I needed anything. Really. I will never impose on these folks again...

Plaza Grill is a wonderful family run Mexican restaurant. My family and I always enjoy the freshly made food and friendly atmosphere. The seafood dishes at Plaza Grill are some of the best around.
