We came to your restaurant this afternoon with my husband and son and his friend. First we had to kind,of wait, for a seat when there was only 3 tables that were full it wasnt busy we went around 5pm today the one on seat end. The waitress took 10 mins to get our drink, order. Then when she came to get our order we asked for appetizers and then my soms friend has never been to a nice restaurant before and he asked for cheesy fries and rudely said this is an Italian restaurant and you need to look at the menu better. Didnt say a word my was hoping it would get better. At this time we have been waiting and more people are showing up. So now there, were about ten tables full. We thought we would get out appetizers right away we waitied, for 20 mins and the waitress came by and refilled our drinks. I asked a legitimate question. Is our appetizers going to come before our entrees because we like to enjoy our food and with the appetizers coming with our entrees it feels rushed, and all of our food would get cold. She was rude and said we just dont put it under the lights until you ready to eat. I thought she was very rude. I saw her talk with other people and she was nice as pie. I know how some people judge other people by the way they dress. My husband is a very hard worki, gman and provides for his family and is able to take us out to nice restaurants. Before the food came out we were waiting for 30,mins and me and the boys left and went to the car didnt even wait for the food. My husband said that as soon as we left the appetizers came to the table, he talked to the manager and the manager didnt fo,anything. One of the reasons we stopped coming to amerigos is due to the staff. We love the food but not the staff. Now,i know why there wasnt that many people at your restaurant. If the lady would have been nice like when is suppose too we wouldnt have left and she would have a gotten a very nice tip. I . make sure that we tip very well because waitressing is not an easy job but if you dont like to,work with the customers dont work in a profession where you have to deal, with the public. I never walk out unless I feel like I am treated way wrong and this is wrong. I will not come back to the restaurant again not because of the food but , because of your staff and from the looks of other reviews its not the food you might want to look into your staff.

I ate there with some friends about 2 years ago and the food was great.to Returning to Nashville with my wife I decided to take her for a treat. Im sorry I did not take pictures. She had the lobster bisque, extremely salty. She had the Salmon special served on a board. She had me taste the salmon to determine if it was real salmon. The grilled vegetable was burnt veg. The mashed potato, ther are no words to describe how horrible it was. I had the chicken piccata. Look was unappealing, unappetizing and tasted worse. It was salty capers sauce with too many capers and my angel hair pasta was not only overcooked, but was swimming in a broth of capers brine. It was a waste of my $50 plus. I could have gone to Olive Garden and eaten and felt better, which is what I will do next time and not go withing 50 yards of that restaurant. Oh the date... Sunday, July 13, 2014, between 5:30 and 6:30 PM. We sat in a booth and we were the only black people there. Trust me, we know good Italian food and Amerigo failed to deliver on their promise. They should be ashamed to serve what they did, salty, poorly presented and awful tasting food. If this were Chopped, they would actually chop the chef, instead of just booting him out of the kitchen. I truly feel assaulted and robbed. I know, I should haved protested or got up and left. I didnt, but I am warning folks, you maybe just as disappointed as we were.

I was hungry and wanted a great dine in meal for a great price so my boyfriend and I saw that it was an Italian restaurant right across the street from the university. We stopped in. There was a 20 minute wait for the dinning area without a reservation so we sat at a table in the bar. The decor was nice, the candles added a great touch, and the restroom needed a little more attention (one of the stalls did not have toilet paper). Waiter and bar tender was very attentive and worked great as a team. Bread was hot, fresh, and smelled divine and our glasses stayed full. I had grilled salmon with a black bean salsa and green beans ($15). My boyfriend had a grilled chicken Caesar salad ($11). The food was very flavorful, fresh ingredients, and hot. We even ordered the pecan butter crunch cake for dessert ($6.50). The apples were naturally sweet so a little less sugar was needed and I would have liked more pecans but the ice cream and cake were great ending to a great experience. We will return for another great date night.

Service from the waiter was good. But the cooks cant follow waiters request for portion size, based on the customers request to do so. Visiting from Canada and I cant believe how large portions are here in the States. I hate to waste food and have learned when I go out to eat to ask for smaller portions, but they insist on bringing it anyways. Is obesity really a concern in the US....think I found one of the reasons why....look at the amount of food they consume in a meal setting. Research further, bet your gonna find the US food and drug linked together to support each others business. No wonder, I see so many americans skipping breakfast - it cost almost as lunch and sometimes dinner. But the nice thing is you get 3 eggs, a pound of potatoes, 2 slices of bread, 3 to 5 pieces of bacon, 2 Jellies and a platter of butter. ....ehhhhh

had groupons that i called to verify we (2 couples) could use and was told no problem it was groupons policy of ( 1 per table) not theirs. Told the waitress and was told the same thing that it was no problem we just had to have seperate checks. When we went to pay the bill the manager (josh) refused to honor what both people had told us was no problem. Acknowledged that they had told us that but they had told us wrong and was sorry that we had been told wrong but that they would not honor both. Would not have been issue if we was not told twice was no problem and then after meal was told, sorry they told you wrong.Manager should have honored what we was told 2 different times and just said not their normal policy, but we we will this time since you was told wrong. Will not go back.

Went there on Sunday as initial destination no longer available. Well me and a friend walk in , no greeter okay fine. We had ample time to peruse the menu make our selections of both food and wine. All the time noticing members of the wait staff talking to seated patrons racking glasses etc..... Tap Tap tap go my feet. Am now doing my control breathing techniques. Feeling totally ignored as a person and patron of this business. I turn and walk toward the door with my guest. All of a sudden " Saints Be Praised " the afore mentioned waitress rushes forward asking may she help us. Nope, walked across the lot to Cheddars. Oh by the way were Black , IJS. Consumer Beware. Go spend your money where it is appreciated. James
